After meeting with Ray and Tracy in our home, I felt even better about the decision-they were personable and professional and the pups loved them. Their prices are also very reasonable. During our trip, Tracy was the one who visited our pups. She texted updates and pictures every night, which I appreciated. Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

When I spoke to Andy on the phone to make arrangements he put me at ease and was very friendly and professional. When I arrived to drop of my dog Andy met us at the door. He told us about his experience with dogs, the treats that he prepares, and the playtime my dog would receive. My dog seemed to like Andy right away. When I picked up my dog, her tail was wagging and she seemed very happy. Andy brought her out and put her in the car for me. My dog never usually comes from a boarding stay in a cheerful mood, but she was cheerful. It must be the friendly staff and the casserole that Andy makes for the dogs. I think his daughter also makes homemade dog treats. I especially love the fact that they gave my dog an exit bath and cut his toenails before I picked her up. Thanks for taking care of my girl.

Clean, the place didn't smell of urine. Quiet, there wasn't a ton of machines running and dogs barking. Con: The actual haircut didn't look that great. The groomer listed when I pointed out some fixes and adjusted accordingly. However I could tell inherently, the cut wasn't that great. It was even and the wash was done well, but the actual aesthetics were not there. My shih tzu was done in a way that left her eyes looking very sunken in.
