I chose this…read moregrooming salon based on positive reviews and drove 30 minutes to get there -- unfortunately, it turned out to be a very upsetting visit. I specifically asked to keep the long hair on my dog's back, which we had been growing out for 6 months. But instead, they shaved it completely. Even worse, they left mats behind the ears, under the chin, and on the belly. When I kindly asked them to remove the mats, the receptionist responded loudly that it would "change the dog's haircut." Seriously? I believe removing mats should be standard grooming procedure -- and if there's an issue, the professional thing to do would be to call the owner or explain. Instead, they just left them and said it would "ruin the style." Meanwhile, the haircut was already nothing like what I requested. Now I have to take my pup to another groomer to fix what they ignored -- and even they were surprised mats were left behind. Sorry, but this is not how responsible pet care should be handled. I'm really disappointed.

Some places, like the previous owners of this location, did not maintain the premises. It would be noisy and smelly, and the AC would be left off. I love what the new owners did with this place! Extremely disappointed with the new owners/management. I've been bringing my dog here for over 6…read moreyears with no complaints. Now there are new owners (for a couple of years now) and our favorite groomer Rolisha is no longer there. My mom dropped Coco off and I was on the phone when she told them we did not want a low cut. I then had my mom go back in and I spoke with the groomer myself on FaceTime asking if the cut number they told my mom would still leave Coco fluffy since I did not want her hair low. We were assured by the groomer that she would still be fluffy! When I went to pick her up, she had a low cut. I called back (for the first time ever) to speak with management and let them know my disappointment with the service. Instead of being understanding and trying to come to a resolve, the manager/owner was extremely dismissive and argumentative, saying that the groomer told us the number and we agreed. Once I explained (again) that we explained several times we did not want a low cut and wanted her fluffy, she switched the narrative saying they had to cut her low because of matting. In the past if matting was an issue, I would get a phone call from Rolisha or the front desk explaining that and requiring me to approve the lower cut. After going in circles, I was over it and just them know how disappointed I was that they took no accountability. Again, in over 6 years this is the first phone call they've ever received from me. Extremely disappointed in the owner/management and lack of accountability. I really wish I would have gotten Rolisha's information before she left!
