I have used every service they offer (day care, bath, nail care, enrichment, etc.) and every time, my pups leave the facility happy and tired. From the jump, they were accommodating and so great with me and my dogs. My older dog passed their interview easily but my little one didn't pass his interview the first time around. But there was no judgment. They quickly assured me he would more than likely pass the 2nd time. After he did pass, they have been so excited every time they come in. Now, they are jumping out of their paws every morning when I take them in the car and they know where we are going. The staff have always been so nice to me when I pick up and drop off. No matter who I deal with, they are always kind and a joy to talk to. I also make sure to check in with them to see if my dogs are having behavioral issues and give them heads up if one of my boys is feeling "spicy" or extra needy any certain day. Or if I am stuck in traffic on my way home and cutting it close to closing time, I call them and let them know I am on the way. That communication goes a long way with my rapport with the staff. And in the end, my pups win out. They get to play and socialize with other humans and dogs and it shows in their behavior out of camp. If you need consistent day care, boarding, and any extras, I can't sing Camp Bow Wow praises enough to anyone in Tracy with pups. If you don't believe me, see the photos below. You can't make up those happy pup photos.

The place is very clean - you can even see it getting cleaned up in their camper cams!! When we signed up and passed his interview (yes- your baby needs to pass the interview LOL), it's more on how they react with other pups. Making sure your pup doesn't attack the other campers. I love the process of their interview day. Gives me peace of mind that they're picky of their campers. Julia gave us a tour of the facility. Julia is amazing. The place is super clean and organized! Nice thing about this place is they won't just sign up any dogs if not completely vaccinated. So you know the campers are all vaccinated and clean. They also have cameras so you can view your babies in action. Someone supervises them at all times. No told me to write this review and I'm not being paid either. I'm not much of a review writer but this place deserves one and I really want them to be in business! So far, I've dealt with Julia and Anna - both are amazing! Bring your pups and fur babies here- ! I highly recommend!!! ----------------------------------------------- To Camp bow wow management ...... For the app feedback- wish there's a history of services provided so I can always look back who took care of my baby .... Like groomer and such. Or maybe I just don't know how to navigate my app yet ?:) Lol.

Once I finally was able to commit to a date, the correspondence I received from TPA was clear and helpful. I was told when to begin restricting food/water, what time to arrive, and the details of the check-in process. As directed, I arrived by 8am and notified office staff. I was quickly greeted by the vet tech, Jill, who was absolutely the best. Jill was warm, patient, and knowledgeable. She let me see where the procedure would be preformed and where Zero would be held, and explained when/why she would call (if blood work was concerning, if it wasn't safe to sedate, if they had suggested extractions). Despite being nervous, Jill definitely helped me feel better about leaving my boy in her care. Since his bloodwork was fine, the next time I heard from Jill was when she called to share suggested extractions. She briefly reviewed the dentition of a dog, explained where there were areas of concern in Zero's mouth, and was able to give me monetary figures when asked. She took time to consider my follow-up questions and I felt the interaction was professional while being empathetic and frank. At no time did I feel that she was trying to upsell me or otherwise get more money out of me. When I picked Zero up, Jill came out holding him. She sat with me and reviewed his bloodwork line by line, his X-rays, and showed me before and after pictures of his teeth. She also provided me with clearly labeled medications. We talked about food and general aftercare, including what I might observe, and I felt comfortable about heading home. We are now at the tail end of recovery and Zero has done fantastic, and I truly attribute a lot of that to Jill & her efforts. Thank you!

When we first arrived there, we noticed how peaceful the place was - none of the incessant barking that you encounter at the local shelter. Their grounds were well maintained. We were told the dogs are let out to run in the yard for 3 hours a day. Their website has a bio on each pet so you can read a background info on each one. Obviously when it's an owner surrender they have more information on the pet, less so if the pet was a stray. But even then, they observe them while at the shelter to give you an idea what to expect. Their system makes it easy to adopt. I recommend sending an application in to get approved first. Once you've been approved, just call to make an appointment to see a dog or cat that you would like to meet. They will hold the dog or cat for you until your appointment. This is different from local city shelters where you might see a dog or cat listed online but it might be gone by the time you get there. Their adoption fee ($350) is fair as my dog was already microchipped and his shots were updated, except for rabies. I was a bit surprised that he was released without updating his rabies. All in all, I would recommend PetsNPals to anyone looking to adopt. They definitely care about the pets and try to make their shelter stay as pleasant as possible. Please adopt, don't shop for a pet.
