Well, Rosemont sure did, and an absolutely gorgeous arrangement was delivered prior to the service, and was ready to be placed on the gravestone afterwards. I actually had to scroll up on the picture I received to make sure the flowers were fake, because they looked so great I was worried I got fresh flowers by mistake! it waMy sister was driving in from Georgia during COVID and was stressing about finding a Michaels and making her own arrangement, so this was a huge load off the family. I know that he has received quite a bit of business from those referrals as I have been the recipient of some gorgeous flowers from him in the past. I was very satisfied with his work and customer service. However I have become very disappointed in him. The most recent cause for disappointment is the flowers I received for Mother's Day 2021. The flowers I received were very pretty but were nowhere close to what my daughter ordered. She ordered a lovely mixed floral arrangement called How Sweet It Is. what I received was an arrangement of roses loaded with baby's breath and fern. My daughter did not get a call from Buck to ask if he could change the arrangement because he did not have the flowers required for her order. When she called the Monday after Mother's Day she was told that the arrangement he sent me was an upgrade as he had sent long stemmed roses. I don't think it was an upgrade. The stems were cut so short that when I received it, they were not touching the water in the vase. I actually had to remove the flowers to put water in the vase and arrange the flowers so that they reached the water. Buck's response to her call was not satisfactory at all. First, he should have apologized for not filling her order correctly and for not calling her to ask if she was ok with a different arrangement. Secondly, he should have offered to make good by refunding her or making another arrangement as she requested. I also called him after she did because she was utterly disgusted with her interaction. Buck did offer to send me an arrangement "when he got his flowers in". A whole week has gone by without that arrangement which is what has compelled me to leave this negative review. The other reason for the negative review is because some time ago I needed a florist to make several boutonnières for my job. I called Flowers by Buck at least three times, leaving a detailed message for what I wanted, without getting a call back. I also drove to the shop twice during their advertised open hours but no one was there. Eventually I went to another florist in the downtown Montgomery area to get what we needed. The photo shows the arrangement I received. There are six "long-stemmed" roses, three sweetheart roses, a lot of fern, and a lot of baby's breath. You can see how few of the stems really go deep in the vase.

Since recently moving to the area, I have been by The Flower Store three times shopping for items…read moreto decorate my new home; unfortunately not one time has anyone offered to help me - ever. There has always been plenty of activity within earshot in the back, I assume while they're working on flower orders; the storefront clearly is not the priority which is surprising because it is filled to the brim with lots of beautiful, expensive things so I know he's got a lot invested in it. I could have easily purchased what I needed online, but wanted to support a local retailer in my new hometown, and even though they did have what I was looking for this last visit (for less than I had seen online) I was so annoyed by being ignored a 3rd time in a row, I left empty handed and gave my business to an online retailer in the end. I don't know what I - a middle-aged woman in work attire - did to give them the impression that I wasn't a serious customer. I understand this is a college town, and maybe they're used to the college kids not being able to afford their nice things, but college kids have parents, like me, who can. I recommend, at the very least, the store get a bell on their door, and when it rings, acknowledge the people who are attempting to patronize you; that, alone, would have resulted in my business.

When my wife called NUMEROUS times to find out what was going on and why nobody showed up at our home, Will never picked up the phone & ALL of the calls went to voicemail each time. There were messages left, and no return call.. The calls are sometimes "screened " to see who is calling before Will decides whether to answer the call or NOT! POOR BUSINESS! UNPROFESSIONAL... * Not sure if this is a RACIAL issue, however, this is a terrible way to conduct business!
