I have been disappointed with the management and maintenance responsiveness at Zen City Apartments…read more One of the biggest issues is the steam room, which has been out of service for approximately four months. Every time residents ask for an update, management gives the same response: "another two weeks" or that they are waiting on parts. After several months of repeated promises, there has been no clear timeline or resolution. Another concern is the valet trash service. Residents pay an additional fee for daily garbage pickup, but the third-party provider, Valet Living, frequently fails to collect trash on a daily basis. When this issue is reported to management, the typical response is that they will contact the company, but residents rarely see any meaningful follow-up or improvement. The building also has ongoing maintenance issues that remain unresolved for extended periods. Both TVs in the common areas are supposed to be connected to cable service, yet the cable connections do not work. Thr three-season room has been missing its screen door/net for over a year, and despite multiple requests, it still has not been repaired. The condition of the common areas is another concern. Hallway carpets are often dirty, trash can frequently be seen in the hallways, and cleaning does not appear to be performed regularly. Painting projects move extremely slowly, with one person seemingly responsible for the work, resulting in hallways remaining unfinished for long periods. The property itself has potential, but management's repeated promises without timely action have been frustrating. Residents deserve better communication, more accountability, and faster resolution of maintenance and service issues, especially when paying premium rent and additional service fees. It's a scam in the name of luxury. Pool is almost unusable due to outside guests and definitely not family friendly at all.

Then scheduled it for today. When we got there She was in no mood to show us.My husband had his ID. I had forgotten mine because I have a 2 year old and we are traveling. She could have easily accommodated because we kept saying we will get this place for suWith this price we can easily find something better elsewhere. Her name was Fatima Al hussain. We were short on time and she could easily have gotten done with it. It was a simple showing and we would have agreed on it because we need an apartment on Monday. Thank god we are going for some place else now because of her. Update: We have viewed a lot of apartments without an ID or with just one of us having it. Its just that people can be a bit flexible when they see a prospective buyer. Ms. Tiana most respectfully, we did not need a drink. We needed an apartment. And the representative was just in a hurry to leave at 5:15 pm. Just a lesson for you guys for the future. Treat the customer nicely which doesn't only include offering beverages or candy. Try to be understanding and give them what they want. They will pay to live there not getting it for free.

When you enter, you feel like you are entering a high end hotel. The furnishings are modern, sleek and tasteful. There is even a Bosendorfer grand piano in the main lobby seating area, where there are musical events 3 times per week. There is multipurpose room for bi-weekly movies and fitness classes; a hair salon, card room, library w fireplace and gym. There are several floor plans to choose from. Mom has a 700 sq ft one bedroom w full bath, washer /dryer, full kitchen,& living room w separate storage unit. It is perfect for her. She has 4 closets! There are modern finishes throughout. It is so beautiful! Wonderful hot Breakfasts and Dinner are provided in the lovely dining room each day and there is a Bistro to order lunch if she so chooses. The Dining options are nothing less than spectacular! Stefani, Dining Room manager, together with the Chef, present a wonderful menu each evening. Residents are seated, menus presented, orders taken and served as one would be served in a fancy restaurant. It is true pampering that includes many choices of appetizer, entree, sides and dessert!.They impressively strive to meet the dietary needs of each guest. The servers in the dining room are so gentle and kind to the residents, catering to their needs as well. In the afternoons, there is often tea and cookies in the lovely conservatory. Once a month, Chef gives a demonstration , complete with samples! I have visited Mom many times in one year and am continually impressed by the how immaculate it is kept. Alicia, who heads Housekeeping, is amazing. In the maintenance office, Chris and Dave are at the ready to help hang a picture, or move a piece of furniture, if needed. In the Leasing Office, there is Margo , whose kindness does not end after the lease is signed. She is on the property and continues to take interest in the residents and daily happenings in their lives. There was a not a question that she could not answer on our tour and subsequent move-in with Mom. She is always there if we have a question. As you drive up to the elegant portico, you will be greeted by the friendly and always smiling, Jimmy, Jackson, or Justin, the valets. These gentlemen know how to treat people! They are so kind and will do whatever they can to make the resident's lives easier. Driving the AllSeason limo or passenger van are Arthur and Bobbie. Once again, they are smiling , kind, warm and efficient. Some of the residents say they feel like they "live on a cruise ship" with all the amenities & activities. Concierges Dawn, Christina & Janice are the next people you encounter in the lobby. They handle a myriad of tasks effortlessly to help the residents in so many ways, taking messages, receiving guests, packages and calls. In short, my siblings and I are throroughly pleased w our Mom's choice of moving to AllSeasons Birmingham. We feel our Mom is safe, in a lovely environment and has the option of activities ( more than I can name here!) and delicious and nutritious meals. We feel the AllSeasons staff do truly care about our Mom & her happiness in her living space. They say," You may live in your apartment, but this entire building is your Home!" We are proud to say our Mother lives there. It only took a tour to know this was the place for her.
