01/10/2026 here for the show! Sheila. Me, Carol, Lisa & Laurie
    Gina C.

Finally I had a night off to come check this bar out that my friend's have talked so highly of. We came on 01/10/2026 to see Sheila perform & the place was packed! She is well loved. My friend had a table reserved for us, thank God cause I would have hated to had to stand all night. Our 2 other friends showed up late so once they came to the table (high top) it was a little crowded when you all want to eat & have drinks. Our waiter was Hunter. I know it was busy but the service wasn't the best. He forgot to bring me another drink that I ordered so my friend grabbed one at the bar for me. He also forgot to send out a large side of honey mustard sauce so I had to bug him for another one & then he forgot to order my onion rings. I did get those for free without even asking, thank you for that! We had to ask for our bill when we were ready to leave. He was able to give us separate checks which was nice. My friend said service is usually better with Hunter so I'll blame it on it being very busy. I got the chicken tenders which were sooooooo yummy! They came out HOT, had a nice, thin crispy coating to them & the chicken was very moist. It was served with fries which were very tasty too. The honey mustard sauce was very thin & I would have preferred it to be a little thick but it did the job. My friend had steak quesadilla & shared one with me. It wasn't bad & the meat wasn't dried out but I did get a couple of fat pieces in my bites that I had to set aside. Another friend got shrimp & let me try a piece. It wasn't bad but I would of liked a sauce to go with it & it was fishy smelling. The onion rings had absolutely no taste to them & the onions tasted watery. I wouldn't order these again. I'd love to try the Mac & cheese but you can't get a side of it & I didn't need two dinners...lol There were a lot of elderly people in the crowd & my friend did tell me that we would probably be the youngest ones in there which we actually weren't but it was nice to see the old folks get out of the house & enjoy themselves. Shelia put on a great performance & even had a guy come up (with mustache) who had an AMAZING voice, another older male & female who all sang with her. She changed her outfits a couple of times & even came around to say hi & thank the crowd. I'd definitely come back here & would love to check out their happy hour and have some more chicken tenders...writing this review has me craving them! lol Parking lot is small but it's in a shopping plaza with other stores. My friends had to park a little ways away from this bar.

My absolute favorite Happy Hour bar in Las Vegas! Not only do they make the best Martini in Sin City, but how do you beat 2 for 1? Best bartenders too, Dalton, Hunter and Christian ALWAYS make the best cocktails and ensure my visit is awesome!!! Love these guys!

Met a group of people here for a celebration of life for the loss of a family member. The placed was jammed packed at 6pm because of some drag for charity event and it just got busier as the night went on. It's an upbeat, fun place with a totally diverse crowd. Parking is a little tough. Not many places to park. Plus they have signs when you walk in saying not to leave valuables in the car. Pretty sketchy area. I definitely recommend ride share. Service was descent however they charged a different price for the same drink order 3 times. When I ordered a beer and a Tito's soda it was $16. My husband went back (same bartender) $15. Then he went to another bartender $14. Still cheap for a bar in Vegas but keep it consistent.

This place is awesome! Love the crowd. The venue is spacious and comfy. They have a section for games. Service is excellent and attentive. They have happy hour daily from 12 PM - 6 PM. Food is excellent. Drag show is fun! Highly recommended!

Ask the Community - The Phoenix Bar & Lounge

I’m an older bi man that just moved to Vegas. Is this a good place to stop by for lunch and a drink or two without feeling out of place? Maybe a chance to meet some new friends? Thanks…

Yes as long as you try to talk to people and be friendly you can definitely meet new friends, and I find most people that come here to be pleasant, I've personally have never come for lunch but I definitely recommend coming for Karaoke night which…

I'm gonna be visiting LV by myself for just a couple of days and just want a chill bar where I feel kinda welcomed. Is this the place?

It is an AWESOME bar and I find everybody to be kind and welcoming (employees and patrons). I moved here 3 years ago and the very first time I went it felt like I was part of the group. Just put yourself out there, and people will respond. Great…

Do they have specific women or men nights? Also, where can I find their schedule of events? Facebook not updated and no website.

They don't really have men's or women's nights. Everybody is welcome, every day.

Are there drag shows at this bar?

Absolutely. You may want to call to find out when, but YES absolutely there are!!!!! Lots of fun.

Are there still Game of Thrones viewing parties here?

    Every Sunday at 8pm.

Is this really a lesbian bar? If so, what's with the drag shows and almost naked male waiters?

The Phoenix is a very inclusive Bar with LGBTQ(xyz) Patrons, if you are specifically looking for a Lesbian bar, try Flex Cocktail Lounge where Wednesdays is Lesbian Night

I'm a wine drinker, any Italian wines available? Even a Pinot Grigio will do! ;)

    Yes. Brand name Barefoot.

Does the rooms have a string cigarette smell?

No not at all. I am not a fan of that smell so I would have noticed right away.

Is this a place that I can meet and enjoy a mature transgendered Man to women escort. Thanks?

This is probably the most inclusive LGBTQA bar in Las Vega$$. If it's gonna happen anywhere, it'll probably happen here.

So I'm only 19, would I be able to go here or do I need to be 21?

    Hi, we are 21+ only.

I'm alarge man searching for a hook up, what are my chances?

A man at a lesbian bar does not have very good odds.

They had live music on Saturday nights that starts right at 10p. After we got our IDs checked, we walked in and were immediately overwhelmed. It was very loud, very busy, and looked like your typical dive bar, which was cool. There were no seats in the front of the bar, at the bar, or even the tables in the back. After ordering our pizza, we finally found seats to eat near the pool tables in the back. We ordered the Champagne & Reefer, which is their supreme pizza. We were hungry so this pizza hit the spot. To be completely honest, I think my friend and I did not enjoy this place because I think we were the youngest at this bar. Everyone around us seemed to be having a great time and we were happy for them. We were slightly overwhelmed and felt like we needed a bar menu. We ended up just skipping alcohol all together at this place. I might want to try this place again with a bigger group of people. I see that they have a beer list online so I'll definitely look at that the next time I stop in.

The overall vibe is smooth and elevated -- great music, well-dressed crowd, and an atmosphere that feels exclusive without being overwhelming. One thing worth noting is the camera policy. The venue emphasizes a no-camera experience, which I understand is meant to maintain privacy and keep the focus on the moment. However, I did notice a few cameras out and about during the night, which made the policy feel a bit inconsistent. Not a major issue, but something that stood out. More please, indeed…read more Mas Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila is a taco shop and speakeasy in the massive and often cramped Center on Spring Mountain strip mall. It's closer to the Valley View end and can actually be easy to park at in the afternoon if you're going for happy hour as I did (available Monday all day, and 3-6pm on other days). I wasn't quite sure where to go so I asked an employee up front about doing happy hour drinks, and he showed me into a long hallway dressed up like a mining tunnel. At the far end was the door into the bar area, which was pretty empty mid-afternoon until some other parties joined me. I sat at the bar and looked over the menu a bit then placed my order. First out was my happy hour cocktail. I chose the Mas Dog 20/20 ($8.00 happy hour)), which sounded like a decent if very fruity gin cocktail and came out pretty sweet and very fruit-forward. Turns out it's inspired by something called MD 20/20, which sounds like malt liquor but for people who need it to be sweet. It was actually pretty decent to sip on but isn't the best match for what I ate, and I ended up squeezing limes into water. The food came out all at once. I really wanted to try the Elotes ($3.00 HH), a delicious creamed corn app topped with crushed Hot Cheetos. It's actually a really addictive dish and one of the most fun bites of the whole thing. I also tried one of each taco available on the current happy hour menu. The two Street Tacos ($3.00 HH) were both solid, with barbacoa serving as the more delicious beef option while the carnitas were actually not as dry as other versions I've had. The mild green salsa and somewhat more medium-ish smoky orange salsa were both great complements to both of these. I enjoyed these, and one of the other tacos, despite the stone cold tortillas they were served on. The two Signature Tacos ($4.00 HH) were a little more dichotomous. I loved the Muy Caliente with its al pastor, chipotle sauce, jack cheese, and Hot Cheetos crumbles. The Gringo, on the other hand, was as boring as or worse than the archetype of the white person taco, with no crispy shell or tomato to help with the monotony. Luckily, I had some lime and salsas to play with, so I wasn't bored to death. I enjoyed the speakeasy area. It wasn't too dim, especially at the bar, and the favorite weapon of the T's in Counter-Strike was on full display behind said bar. There was a mariachi-sounding song being played when I first got in, but they inexplicably moved on to what I later realized was a music video playlist from the top of the aughts, aka my formative years listening to top 40 / pop / hip hop. Quite the nostalgia trip, especially when I later found out that my bartender and the couple who also decided to sit at the bar were from my hometown. I would come back to Mas Por Favor for happy hour, maybe Taco Tuesday, and definitely some of the other interesting signature tacos on their regular menu. It may not be the most comprehensively awesome spot, but it's at least a pretty solid option for eats and drinks.
