I've been to this event space before, and it was very good. This time I came for a networking event for entrepreneurs and it was even better. Downtown offers so many things, including this amazing bar. The decor is chic and updated reminiscence of old Hollywood with a touch of glamour. The food was excellent, and the service was very good as well. Great place to have drinks and cocktails and even networking events.

This is our second time giving it a shot....Well first they never answer the phone:( we live in the bldg so my husband had to walk down and order the food. About 45 minutes later it all came out and he came home, to find out everything was way over seasoned and greasy! I can understand if they were busy, nope about 3 people including himself were in the place. I would call to speak to someone about the food but it would go to VM.

We are still over the moon from the night! We held our 25th wedding anniversary at The Classic Jewel and Sherri and her staff were amazing! The place was perfect for our 100 person party. They can help you with all of your needs. From catering, music, decor, whatever. The process was smooth and we cannot wait to go back. They even ordered my bougie wine so that I can have my drink at the event. The sound system was blasting and the band sounding top notch. Can't thank them enough. It was lit!

I reserved the Classic Jewel this past November for my mom's 80th birthday celebration. I live out of state and I'd never been there, so the site was physically unseen. Although I worked with Sherri for months prior to, I was nervous...until I walked through the doors the night of the event! Sherri understood the assignment and the night was wonderful! From the decor, the food, the drinks, amenities, to the service, it was the best! Once again, thank you to all Classic Jewel staff for helping make this memorable event a great time!

The Classic Jewel Lemme just say I'm Black Therefore biased when it comes to black owned business. I give them more chances to do wrong than anyone else. Ill just say Im glad I went ONLY for the entertainment. So .. Let me set the scene... My lil Thang from the ATL came to visit me Y'all know ... I'm on the prowl since my break up. So I wanna show him that Black-people-Vegas is more than F@ck A$$ Drais and rappers past their prime tryna hold on to relevance by doing "residencies" I'd never been here before but I heard the live music was good. The internet says the show starts at ... I forget Whatever it was we go 30 mins later cause ... I know how my people are. So we get in nd people are just standing around. And we dont know who the f@ck to talk to for a table? The staff does not... I repeat DOES NOT have on a uniform They not even wearing clothes that look light weight similar. We just roll up on a lady by a cash register and hope she work there. Luckily she did and was pleasant. She gave us two choices for seating: Then first one was dumb close to the stage The second one was EXTRA dumb close to the stage. We opted for the first one. We at our lil table... Chilling... The Dj Is spinning jams... Issssa vibe A short cute lil waitress slides up and asks if were ready to order. I have a question about a food item. Shes goes to ask the chef right quick, comes back with the answer. Im like bet, okay, she on it. So we order... I get the Japanese something or other fries - an appetizer. (They had a vegan burger but I just hAd a gut feeling it was gon' piss me off) He gets the chicken wings as an app & Salmon as an entree. We both get lemonade cause we dont drink and thats when EVERYTHING changed. Look like lil momma had to stop herself from rolling her eyes. And I suppressed a sarcastic quip. She leaves and the entertainment for the night arrives and jumps on stage AND JUST STARTS!! Wasnt no warm up Wasnt no sound check Was barely an introduction They literally just start And it was banging... Except for the part where the bass guitarist couldn't find his sound and the keyboardist signaled him to stop f@ckin up the vibe. It sounded baaaaaad but he found his way. -- warm up woulda helped out, I bet So after a whiiiiiillllllle.... His SALMON comes out Wtf the wings & my fries? No body knows. And lil momma didn't say shit. But he dont wanna eat b4 I get my food causes hes a gentlemen Annnd wants to secure the kitty kat. But after like 10 mins I tell him to eat. He does He said it was "okay" Theeeen my fries comes Beyond mediocre! So mediocre I wanted to ask the chef "Yo, you stand behind this bullshit?" Once his ENTREE IS FINISHED, His Lemon Pepper wings come And he assumes they didnt hear the lemon pepper part So the food was a complete WASH And lil momma NEVER came back. NEVER In fact, 386 hours later, when the people next to us left and we were still left alone, I put our plates on their table. Even MORE IN FACT, the musicians finished, everyone was leaving and she still aint come back. I told bro to come on and lets just go. He said "without paying?" I said "breh, they dont want no money" But he insisted So we ended up walking ourselves to the cashier at the bar and INSISTING we pay. All Imma say is.... I went there to hear good music And I did And FOR THAT... I am pleased So... they reallll lucky --side eye--

Had to stop in to grab my cocktail kit for a virtual Yelp event and decided to stay for cocktails and dinner! This location is great and they actually have public parking across the street, which is nice, especially for downtown areas. It is also within walking to distance to so many other spots, too, so if you're down in DTLV looking for great bars, it's definitely a great spot. My husband ordered the Monto Carlo to drink and I ordered the Hotel National to drink. We loved our cocktails so much we ended up ordering another round. Adam, our bartender, was fantastic. He was super friendly and took great care of us. The vibe in here is so cool and definitely plays tribute to old Vegas with photos of old Vegas performers everywhere. I can see how this would be such a fun spot to go later at night, too. It's definitely a lounge vibe and they even have hookah, too. They also do live music on the weekends and I think most weeknights, too. While we were there, we also ended up ordering a fantastic spread of food. The owner, Ryan, tried to tell me that they had just okay food and honestly, she undersold it! WOW! The food here is really fantastic, too. I ordered the chicken and waffles, the Japanese garlic fries, the crab cakes and the buffalo chicken sliders. Everything was so delicious. The chicken and waffles was soooo good. Woww. The sauce that you dipped the fries in was also incredibly divine. The salad that came on the side with the crab cakes was even amazing! Did I mention how good the crab cakes were? Highly recommend. The food really was fantastic and a pleasant surprise. Would love to come back when it's later at night and in its prime for sure. They also do bottle service here, too, like a club but not at the on the Strip prices!

Stopped in for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. This is a hidden gem. Was a bit before 6 pm ordered our drinks with wings and fries. There is parking right across the street and on the street parking so you have your options which is nice for downtown. The bartender was great and really helpful and funny. The food was amazing as well as our drinks. Definitely a spot that we will be visiting again.

My favorite downtown bar/lounge. Most nights there's live entertainment to accompany the great drinks and delicious bar food. The chicken tacos, wings and fries are a must try. Last time I was there I had a blueberry mule. Never even heard of it but I'd definitely order it again. My favorite night of the week is Tuesday night. They have live comedy and a DJ. No cover. The parking is free and they also have hookah half off until 10pm. The staff is always friendly and they move fast to get your order complete. The owner is often there enjoying the vibes as a patron. If you're in or live in Las Vegas, stop by and have a drink while the game is on. If you can get by there on a Tuesday night, I'd highly recommend. I'd command it if I could. Classic Jewel for the win!!!

Our friend ordered fish and chips and while said it was good, she found a worm--she said nothing till we left, one she didn't want to make us sick and two she said it happens in seafood, sometimes. Now I know why I am vegan. It was OK, the service wasn't that great, there were a lot of gaps in between being ready to box everything up and ready to pay the bill + the menu issue. I do not know if I would go back, there are a lot of places to try in Vegas that have a lot more vegan options for me and more than a burger for my brother.

Eat two and you've had dinner. Drinks are $5, and the limited menu is limited to exactly what you need: a properly poured pint of Guinness and a sweet little cocktail called the Celtic Breeze. In a town charging $15 for coffee, our whole dinner-and-drinks ran less than fast food. Then there's Tony behind the bar -- funny, pours a Guinness with actual respect for the ritual, and clearly loves his job, which in Vegas is rarer than a free parking spot. He turned a cheap happy hour into one of the best stops of our trip. We came to Vegas the same week we ate at one of the Strip's overhyped "experience" restaurants. This unassuming Irish pub beat it in every category that matters -- food, drinks, atmosphere, humanity -- at literally a tenth of the price. The happy hour is one of the best we've found in Vegas. We tried the shepherd's pie, fish and chips, beer cheese and bread, sausage rolls, and pastrami sliders--and everything was amazing. Pair that with a pint of Guinness, a shot of Jameson, or their happy hour punch drink, and it's an incredible deal for the quality of the food and the experience. But the service is what really made this place stand out. Tony has been fantastic. Attentive, funny, welcoming, and he has some seriously great Guinness-pouring skills--the man knows how to pour a proper pint! He took such good care of us that we made a point of spending time here every day of our trip. In fact, I'm writing this review while we're sitting on the Nine Fine Irishmen patio before leaving Vegas, and Tony is our server again! My husband is having the American breakfast, and I'm getting the shepherd's pie because... YUM. They sat us in a separate dining area which was great for us (because of the kids).. but probably better for the other diners. Our server was so nice and patient. Kid's menus had a variety of options and came with drinks in little plastic cups. Portions were HUGE for kids. They enjoyed their meals. Adult beverages were great. I had the double copper; no complaints there. The guys each had an old fashioned and I was told they were very good. The only drink complaints at the table were for the key lime martinis. The girls were not expecting them to be milky. Food was great. The deviled scotch eggs were bomb. I definitely recommend those. Sausage roll bites were good; but for the price, I probably wouldn't order them again. For main, I had the beef stew. It was good. Beef was tender and stew was flavorful. I also ordered a side of tots and the Brussels Sprouts. Tots were good. Sprouts tasted burnt and not in a good way. I was a little disappointed in those. The outer layer of the egg was thin and crispy, and the filling was oh-so-creamy. It was delightful and a must-order. We ordered the Irish chicken curry with half-fries and half-rice. The chicken itself was a bit bland, but the curry sauce was tasty. It was mild and not spicy. We also ordered the Irish breakfast with a side of Batchelors beans. It included two eggs, Irish bangers and rashers, black and white pudding, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and toast. I had to look up what rashers are--they are basically bacon, but a lot leaner than what you'd expect with American bacon. It was a bit too lean for my taste, but overall, everything was pretty good, especially the black and white pudding, which was basically a big slice of sausage. The black pudding is black because of the pork blood. I also want to say the service here was amazing, and the servers were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back to this establishment. FYI, since this is part of MGM, you can use resort credits and charge it to your room here.

We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.

I came dressed in a casual skeleton jumpsuit, which was kind of a last minute costume for me. Getting there and finding it was super easy. I parked in the casino parking garage, which had plenty of spaces, and walked right over, which was just a short walk away. The weather that evening was perfect to sit outside on their patio, watch a little bit of game 6 of the World Series, and watch other people go by all dressed up in their own costumes. It was not too hot, not too cold, and not windy at all, though it started getting a little chilly as the night progressed. Our waiter was Batman (actually Jorge dressed as Batman lol), who made a pretty impressive Batman impersonation. The Cali Squeeze Blood Orange Hefe, Jack Daniel's, among other alcoholic drinks made appearances. Not to mention the various Jell-O syringe shots someone in our group bought along with her, and yes, she was dressed up as a nurse. ;D Food appearances were pub pretzels and pork sliders with fries on the side. Jorge (aka Batman) told us that we were given the last pork slider dishes available, as they ran out. We initially thought that he was joking, but he was not. The pretzels were great to snack on while I drank my beer, in the case I was going to drink more later that night. I did drive here, so I had to really pace myself with my drinks. This was a great place to grab some food and drinks before going out for the rest of the night. It's also a great place to watch any game that's on.

We were seated at the bar and had a nice time interacting with the cocktail craftsman/man in charge, Davey. The menu is his creative brainchild and changes a few times a year, with the current one based on the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. There's a 90 minute limit and 2 drink minimum per guest. Because of the craft and attention to detail that goes into each cocktail, we finished our 2 drinks just about right at the 90 minute mark. I really enjoyed both of my cocktails but the one that stood out to me the most was Strange Medicine. It was reminiscent of a martini but with Brie-washed Old Bison vodka, Cocchi Americano, and herb oil. It was so good that I wasn't sure what drink to choose next, but Davey was helpful with a great recommendation for another cocktail served with a chunk of parmesan cheese on top. Keep in mind that you're paying for the experience and the level of craft. So with a 2 drink minimum it won't be a cheap experience but it's definitely something worth checking out for the unique, creative cocktails.

Pro: Fear and Loathing menu, updated furniture, yummy drinks…read more Con: Not the previous Laundry Room you remembered, glorified tourist trap, lack of atmosphere control. Slow drink service. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
