I've been here a number of times to shop and its one of my favorite places to pickup pickles and olives from for any and all occasions. It's easy for me to spend a lot of money in here because they have so many great things available. I always try to get something new and something I've previously enjoyed when I shop. I will say, after attending a recent event here, I am now a fan of kimchi and even purchased a bag of the daikon radish kimchi. From tincan fish, all kinds of pickled veggies, apparel and accessories, recipe books, novelty items, and so much more, you can find anything and everything your pickled heart desires here. If you love pickles, you have to check out The Pickle Factory! This place is awesome and has pretty much everything pickle-related--different pickle flavors, brines, plus all kinds of merch. As someone who eats pickles every day, this place felt like heaven. My favorite brine was the Aji Amarillo & Mango. The combination of flavors was so good and really unique. I also tried the kimchi and my favorite was the Daikon Radish, with the classic being a close second. We liked them so much we grabbed a bag of each. As for the pickles, the spicy kosher was my favorite--even though garlic is usually my normal go-to. It had just the right amount of kick. I am not a pickle fan for the extreme. Stopped in and prices for cheap items were through the roof. I bought a sticker for $4! What was I thinking. The market area was cool, but prices on the items were definitely cranked up. I don't think I'll be back. They had 4 samples they were ok wasn't wowed. Staff were very friendly, but overall prices are nuts, quality of non edibles too pricey, and for the record this is no factory more like a highway robbery touristic store. read more

This is the cutest pickle(and only)pickle store I've ever been to. This store has been on my radar and bucket list for a long time. I love the outdoor area out front. You can sit and enjoy your pickle purchases out here before leaving. I love all of the options of wonderful pickles to choose from. Ok, so I read the reviews and was excited to visit. I loaded my son and his family into the car and headed up to Jax (from St. Augustine). My littles that traveled with me were five and three years old. Well, this was a hit AND miss for my group. We all loved the interior, bright and welcoming. My grown-ups enjoyed looking at all the cute pickle themed items (from pickle shirts to pickle flavored cotton candy). My littles did not have a good time. Although there were toys and kid items for purchase, there really wasn't anything for them to do (and pickles were not their thing). There was a Corn Hole game outside, which could have entertained them if it was not so popular that day. The general thought from my group was that there was fun stuff but sadden by the lack of sampling and ability to purchase smaller packages of pickles. We like pickles but didn't purchase any because of cost and uncertainty of liking the ones we chose. Overall, we're glad we went. read more

I'm new to Jacksonville and came across this place in my travels. You ever get the feeling that you're not really welcome in an establishment? That's the vibe that I got when I went in. No huge welcome compared to other customers that came in. Perhaps it was an off day, they don't have many black customers come in. Who knows? It's a little smaller than I expected (I guess I expected more of a "factory" feel to it) but it was fun nonetheless. It's more like a small shop but has a lot of pickled items, plus merch (shirts, caps, keychains, bags). The staff were super friendly and helpful too! We got some pickles, a keychain, a ball cap, some kimchi and some nuts. The place was busy too, lots of patrons. But it was fun spot to check out and browse around. What an adorable spot full of unique and tasty treats! I loved walking through, trying a few samples and giggling at some of the merch. There are things like shirts, hats, stickers, snacks and sundry grocery items in addition to their house made products. Their butter olives are amazing (the castelvetrano flavor is subtly enhanced but not overpowered by the fermented brine) and the pickles are great too. They sell their own pickles in several flavors. On Weekends you can get a pickle on a stick for $2.00. The day we visited, they offered their Kosher dill and Garlic pickles on a stick. There is also pickle flavored salt water taffy. A bargain at 4/$1. Plenty of pickle flavored chips and popcorn, as well as salts, seasonings and olives too. i was surprised they didn't offer the pickle ornament, a kitch item for Christmas trees everywhere. Perhaps they offer them closer to Christmas. The store also offers samples of their pickles as soon as you enter. So try before you purchase. Staff are friendly and courteous! They were serving sauerkraut samples, right when you walked in. They serve everything from pickles to olives to kimchi & sauerkraut. It's amazing. Not amused with this place at all. I came here as a self-proclaimed pickle connoisseur excited to see everything that they had to offer and left $150 more broke than I came in a few days ago. I decided to indulge in my bag of garlic pickles and boy were they the most delicious things I've ever put in my mouth. However, I noticed that some of the pickles were falling apart like a body that's been laying in the swamp for a month in the middle of August in Florida. They weren't just soft and mushy. They were actually slimy. Here I am on day 4 after eating these pickles pissing out of my ass like a fire hydrant. I know that it's not a stomach bug is nobody else in my family is sick and I am the only one that ate the pickles. When reaching out to the company, all they ask me is what my order number was there's absolutely zero concern that there could be a bad batch out there making people ill. They also do not seem to understand that you can buy these things in the store not just online and keep asking for my email address even though they are literally emailing me at my email address. I'm not sure if the customer support partially fermented their brains. I write this as the borborygmus is flaring through me and I am doubled over on my toilet for day number four of this. Olives and pickles? Delicious. Concern for public safety? Zero stars read more
