This is a great place that helps women reclaim their lives. The store has wonderful items fir yourself or to give as gifts. A lot of the products are made in house by the ladies in the program that have learned a new trade. We as there volunteering so we worked on deconstructing some old leather seats that was donated by Southwest Airlines. This leather will make jewelry, keychains and journals. We had a great time there. And learned some information about human sex trafficking that we didn't know.

What an Amazing Mission and Thankful I had the opportunity to volunteer and make a difference! It was stated, as a volunteer, you could be helping to tag merchandise, stock inventory, sort t-shirts, assist with pre-production work, and/or help in the retail store. This day we were ripping seams from leather chair coverings that Southwest Airlines donated, after they reupholstered their airplane passenger seats. The leather is repurposed allowing the employees to make all types of leather goods, for resale, including Beautiful Purses, satchels, wallets, key chains, earrings/necklaces, etc. I will say everyone involved from the staff to employees had this amazing warm glow, as if you had been there before or grew up down the street ... such a Great Spirit and plenty of smiles! Not only are the people filled with a great spirit but the store is also very vibrant with neon colors from the repurposed t-shirts used to make scarfs, etc. It's a Beautiful and very clean store, great for buying a special gift or something for yourself and not to mention it's for a wonderful cause! "Rethreaded's mission is to renew hope, reignite dreams and release potential for survivors of human trafficking locally and globally through business. Rethreaded provides a second chance at life through employment for survivors of human trafficking in Jacksonville, Florida. Women have employment opportunities in different facets of the company including production, inventory, sales, marketing and finance/admin. Rethreaded also operates as a distribution company that sells products from like-minded businesses who also employ women who have found freedom from the sex trade." If you have an opportunity to volunteer this is a great place to be, and if not, you can always stop by the retail store and shop for some beautiful unique items. Their items range from Toffee Coffee, Scarfs, jewelry, handbags, wallets, blankets, doggie toys, etc... so you are bound to find something you love as each item is handcrafted. They also have a website where you can register for volunteering or shop for merchandise www.rethreaded.com, so be sure to check them out!

I love what this store is doing for the community specifically for women. All products were handmade by women rescued from sex trafficking and every item purchased gives back to help the organization. All products are beautiful and fashionable. They have coffees, mugs and candies from other local organizations that give back. I purchased earrings and a scarf that I can use on either a casual or formal day. This store is great for gifts and giveaways. Definitely will be back to support this amazing business!

They have a great mission in Jacksonville to help women, who have been forced in to the sex slave trade. They help the women learn new skills to become independent and free. They have a huge warehouse full of goodies that you can purchase. I have and love my scarf, bracelet and a teal & black necklace that came from there. It's "Christmas in July" right now. Check them out and buy some Christmas gifts for friends and family early!

This ministry and store is simply amazing. The work they do is priceless and selfless. Our studio photographed the Mukti gala last night, for the second year in a row. The gala was even better than last year, which is saying a lot. There is so much evidence of true love and heart in this ministry, and it goes into each little detail. Their products are good quality and there is a nice variety - they make wonderful gifts. We've purchased candles, tea, a blanket, purses, accessories, and more. We've love everything we've ever purchased, and it just makes it all the more special that these items were made by the survivors that Rethreaded is helping. I highly recommend visiting their store to purchase your holiday and birthday (or other) gifts.

This literally has to be one of my many favorite local places top shop for gifts at! Rethreaded's purpose & mission is truly something amazing for women especially. From the empowering networking events to being able to purchase all thee cute things (fashion statement pieces, jewelry, to even dog toys - so much to choose from) I'm seriously in awe with this place. Truly a place where women empower & support one another. If you are looking for a place to network with or wanting to look for mini gifts (even if its it's for yourself) this is the place to be at!

Beautiful scarves, blankets, and baby blankets. Super soft!

I really appreciate the opportunity to support a good cause- especially when they have great products! I've now been here twice, once for an event and once for some Christmas gift shopping. If you get the chance to go to an event here, go!! They had great vendors with handouts and interesting samples, lots of good giveaways (gift certificates, prizes!), great food catered by local restaurants (Zoe's Mediterranean) and even arts and crafts (we made Christmas ornaments). However, I felt my review wouldn't be authentic unless I had been there to shop on a normal day, so I went back a few weeks later to get some Christmas gifts. I've had a Grace scarf from Rethreaded, so I decided to get them for some of the women in my family. They are so versatile and unique- definitely something with a story- but also really cute and could be added to any outfit, casual or dressy. I also picked up some homemade jewelry from an organization in TN. I appreciate that Rethreaded partners with some other charities from around the world with similar missions and they share their products. It gives the store great variety. Everyone who works there was fantastically nice. They all went out of their way help and individually gift wrapped each of my many gifts at the end. They even had their store decorated for the season when I went in- Christmas tree with t-shirt-based garland, ornaments hung on their t-shirt string. It was impressive! I highly recommend shopping here!

You wouldn't think a gift shop located in a hospital would be all that great, right? Well, think…read moreagain! This particular shop is located on the 1st floor of the Pavilion at Baptist Medical Center. Of course you will find all the usual things here like flowers, cards, "get well" this that and the other, "It's a Girl" & "It's a Boy" this that and the other, but there's also so much more. Actually, even for all the usual stuff I just mentioned, they have more of a selection than you generally will find in a hospital gift shop and the flowers are kept in a cooler and are very fresh. It can be kind of hard to move around in here because they've packed so much into this shop, so be careful not to knock anything breakable over as you're moving around. They carry tons of scrubs and shoes for the medical professional. Once upon a time ago I wore scrubs to work every day, so I can tell you the prices are decent. They also have a cute selection of scrub tops for women with all types of designs. They have everything here from jewelry to wine glasses. They even have items for the Gator, Seminole, and Bulldog fans. They also have seasonal items for Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Christmas, etc. etc. I'm at the Pavilion quite often because several of my doctor's offices are located here and I'm constantly dragging hubby into this shop because I'll see something from one of the large windows that I like. Most items are priced quite well. You will find some items that are marked up because they are in a hospital gift shop, but for the most part, I'm happy with the pricing. We all have that person on our gift list that is hard to buy for because they have one of everything already. Believe it or not, you'll probably find something for them here (especially if it's a woman you are buying for). Yes, I have actually purposefully been to the hospital just to shop before. LOL I know.. it does sound rather odd, but it's a really good shop!
