WOW! We stumbled upon this gem of a local hangout by sheer accident. As it turned out, it had a great outcome. From the time we walked in the door until we left, we felt like we were their most important customers. They have specials, but we ordered off the menu. Dinner was perfectly priced and presented. Everything on the menu was made in house. Definitely a great reason to pull off the highway and enjoy a riverview.

We were in town for a wedding and stumbled across here for dinner. Tasty old fashioned. The dill pickle shots were super smooth and flavorful. The food was great. Service and ambiance were both perfect for a small town bar. Highly recommend!

The view from the restaurant to the lake is stunning.

My family is in Pepin for a wedding. We walked to the Pickle Factory for supper. The wait staff was very friendly and seated us right away. We ordered appetizers, the fried pickles and the cheese curds. Though I am not a fan of dill pickles they were good and the cheese curds were delicious. They serve several tap beers and the lake pepin ale was a great choice. Dark but very tasty. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was delicious, the fish was flaky and the crust crispy. I ordered the fries with it and the fries are sliced thin and into wide pieces giving you a crispy pocket of potato. Definitely a must try if you are near Pepin.

My first time visiting this establishment, as I rode up on my bike I could tell I was in for a treat. This restaurant sat off the St Croix River, and it had a patio that overlooked the river. Mary was our server, she was friendly, kind, and very accommodating. I ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich and a side of their homemade potato chips. The sandwich was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the homemade potato chips were a smash hit. The bathrooms were clean, I liked the decor, and the other patrons were very friendly. I love this little honeypot, looking forward to coming here again soon, thanks, Mary!!!

We stopped in to enjoy a dinner on Thursday night and were pleasantly surprised by how nice the service and food was. The fried pickles are beer-battered and were the star of the show.

Service was fantastic the whole time. We were never left wanting for anything, and drinks and food came out at a perfect pace. We started off with drinks and the dill cheese curds appetizer. I was very happy that they had four ciders available, and I went with the pear choice, which turned out to be Magner's. The curds were fantastic, with loads of dill in the crisp breading. The curds had a perfect pull and squeak. My kid had the fettucine alfredo and rated it as "very good." (He also enjoyed the leftovers the next day). My husband had the smothered ribeye sandwich and requested no mushrooms. He had fries on the side. He said this is one of the best ribeye sandwiches he's ever had. I had the fish tacos, and wow, they were delicious. It included two tacos, and each one had two massive, very hot fish nuggets. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh. I had my choice of side and went with coleslaw, which was good. Note that this is a brewery, but they had none of their beers available during our visit because they had just transferred to new ownership. Based on our experience, we definitely need to return when they have their own beers on tap again and then we can try more of their food, too!

Lots of memorabilia from long defunct breweries. My Bloody Mary was excellent as were my fish tacos. There are multiple options for pescatarians though probably a bit more challenging for vegans, which is not unusual in this part of the world. While we visited their onsite brewing was on hiatus because they need to be re-licensed after the ownership change. Looking forward to that happening!

We got the pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork nachos with spinach artichoke dip, fried cheese curds, and the Swedish meatballs. All were excellent. They also have very affordable NA drinks as well as local pops with unique flavors like butterscotch root beer. The real draw of this place is their whole pay what you can concept which allows anyone of any budget to enjoy this place. With the three entrees, appetizer, and 3 drinks we decided to pay about $70 for 4 people to encompass both taxes and gratuity.
