It's in a beautiful location, higher up on the hill and provides you with some breathtaking views. We love how well kept the courts are and it doesn't seem to be as busy as some of the other ones in the valley (cough cough steer clear of the courts in Murray). Plenty of parking, plenty of open grass to run and play in, and it's right off Bangerter Highway--if you keep driving the windy road, you'll end up in Highland/Lehi area and that's beautiful too. I haven't seen any drinking fountains near the courts, but that's not to say they're not near the pavilions or park equipment--but I'd rather be safe than sorry and pack some extra water bottles. All in all, one of my new favorite areas. I can't wait to pack a picnic and return again soon! TIPS & TRICKS: * Lots of shade and benches, but you still don't want to forget sunscreen. * Because of the location, it's much more windy than normal, so be prepared to run a little harder!

The park is well maintained. There's also walking trails around the park. There's a pavilion, baseball park, and restrooms available for use. We will definitely be back to come play again.

Beware of enrolling and bringing your kids to the Kids Academy here. The Kids Academy manager Kim…read moreisn't friendly at all. She gossips with certain staff members and club members (like Brittany S. & Katrina N.) about other staff members and club members. And her minion employee Lexie doesn't even greet guests when you enter the Kids Academy. Kenzie, another Kids Academy employee, bullies select coworkers, their kids, and members' children. She and Lexie are only kind to select guests and their children, but rude to others. Some Kids Academy employees have even quit due to bullying and mistreatment from Kim, Lexie, & Kenzie. I'll spare their names for privacy, but a couple of Lifetime South Jordan Kids Academy's SWEETEST girls working there ended up leaving due to their mental health suffering. Also, a handful of the Kids Academy staff yell at and discipline certain children over normal kid behavior. They all seem burnt out. The extremely low pay probably doesn't help. Personal trainer Rob also tells children who are aged 12+ they can't be upstairs on the gym floor without even age checking them (kids age 12+ CAN be upstairs) or contacting their parents. He's only friendly to certain staff and club members. The new GM Matt is super nice and seemingly professional. He's made a lot of positive changes since he's established his role, but he has a lot of work to do with the current Kids Academy management and staff. He's at least approachable though, unlike the former GM Bridgette who was fired for a string of wrongdoings, including illegally performing Botox on the former spa manager (they did it to each other) while at work. Some of the lifeguards and swim instructors could use professionalism training or retraining. A lot of them seem bored, unfriendly, and entitled, but they're more preferable over the Kids Academy manager Kim and her staff, particularly Lexie & Kenzie. Those three have done some illegal and just outright horrible things too.

I am not a member here but part of a league that is playing pickle ball here…read more I didn't know about the bubble being around the courts for winter which was nice inside it was comfortable. Outside was in the upper 60s the day I went. Not sure if it would be cooler than it was when it's 30 outside. The walk from the front desk to the courts I never would have found on my own. I didn't see any other signs that said what was what way besides the ones my group put up. Everything looked clean and taken care of. I didn't use the locker room or restrooms. They do have a bar attached that was a nice bonus. We only got drinks but they do have food as well. Next time I'll have to try some.

The Sports Mall is celebrating their 50th anniversary and you'd think with all the advertising…read morethey're doing, that they'd clean up their facility and bring in some up to date equipment. This place has been the exact same for as long as I can remember. We've been customers off and on for more than two decades, and a majority of the machines are still the same. The treads are worn on lots of equipment which can be a hazard, some labels are torn off and illegible, some seats are stained with spray tan, some cracking. We enjoy the classes that they offer as part of our membership. The trainers and class staff are inspiring, very helpful and friendly, supportive and kind. Unfortunately parts of the facility smell bad and it's inexcusable IMO. For example, that hallway passing the racquetball hall smells absolutely putrid. I have yet to see or detect that the berber (carpeting!!!) has been sanitized, shampooed, or replaced... Men sit between matches, pouring their sweat onto the carpet. Barf. That hallway has earned the moniker "stinky hall" for a reason. It truly smells sharp and foul. The fans in the weight room aren't sufficient for moving the stale air. Some days this summer, I've thought I was having hot flashes and feeling faint - come to find out, the room was nearly 80°! They don't seem to keep the thermostats maintained at reasonable temperatures. That's not acceptable. Upstairs, it's dreary AF. It feels tired. It looks the same as it did in 2003. Same dreary fluorescent lighting, too. Absolutely nothing updated on the walls. The locker rooms are generally kept up with lots of lockers for patrons. Unfortunately the wet area can get kinda gross. In the women's one, I've occasionally seen clumps of hair and bandaids left in the showers. I've gone into stalls only to find that the showers weren't working properly. Trickling low water pressure or non-adjustable scalding water!! Without the cover, the pool area is decent in the summer. The space feels dilapidated the rest of the year with that holey and aging cover. You can tell that kids are peeing in the pool so they counterbalance it by treating it with lots of chemicals. I've only gone to the pool once this spring, and haven't been back since I ended up with an itchy scabby chemical burn on my shins. :( I don't play on the tennis/pickleball courts, but they appear to be really snazzy. Seems that they're kept up and well maintained from the looks of them. Basketball court seems good too. The hallways to get to all these places are fluorescent lit and dreary. I wish they'd update their spaces to reflect the higher end clientele they're serving or trying to attract... They can write off the maintenance, so I don't agree with some of the replies left by management. They could make changes, they just don't seem to want to. Alas, I still go here because it's quiet and the equipment/benches/bars are usually open throughout the day, the people generally keep their eyes to themselves and most are respectful, versus the bustling "meat market" gyms like EōS and Vasa... They really need to refresh and clean up this place. Currently two stars.
