I would definitely order these again. I also had 2 cocktails, a Moscow Mule and the John Daly's Lemonade. The Mule was mediocre, I would not order this drink here again, but the John Daly's Lemonade was soooo good! There is a nice large bar in this restaurant and we heard that they have live music on the weekends and it draws a good crowd. At lunch however, the atmosphere is a little blah, no music, only 3 tables of guests on the Friday we were there. Definitely needs a little something! The big shocker though was the bill. My sushi, Boom Boom shrimp and 2 cocktails at lunch came to $70. Be aware they charge an 18% gratuity to ALL checks even if you are 1 person. This is Sparta, not Nashville!! For me, this is not a place I will frequent because of the prices and atmosphere, which is sad because I live so close and I really liked what I ordered and our waitress was very nice and polite! Something I didn't notice, but my 2 friends both expressed was that the women's bathroom had a horrible strong cleaner smell. It did look like they are putting in an amphitheater and outdoor seating which would be nice especially if they have live music in the evenings during the summer.

Upscale bar food. Upscale decor. Crazy expensive for a golf course bar/restaurant. They want to…read moreattract Nashville on price and ambiance, forgetting about all of the locals!

We stopped into Mammoth Valley Pub on a Saturday afternoon with the fam and I wanted to love it…read more The place itself is actually really great... clean, a little elevated from your typical dive bar, pool table and games. Food was where things fell off for us. We ordered a large pineapple pizza to share and it came out pretty soggy, like the crust just couldn't hold up. Maybe too much sauce? And the sauce itself just wasn't hitting... Not terrible, just not something I'd order again. Service wise, I felt for the guy working because he was basically running the whole place on his own (on a Saturday??). There was someone in the back, but still... we waited a while for everything. The bigger issue though was the pricing. The menu we ordered from was outdated, and we didn't find out until the bill came. That part honestly didn't sit right with me. There wasn't an apology or anything, and I really think menu pricing should be honored or at least clearly communicated upfront. If you're the owner reading this, I think you're really close. The space is great, just tighten up the food consistency, update your menus (or give a heads up), and maybe get a little more help on busy days.

Tap beer was nice and cold. One kid got a raspberry lemonade slushy that was SO good! Restrooms were clean. My kids spilled and they were so gracious and helpful, even though I was embarrassed. Would definitely stop again!

Great little bar, amazing food, and stand-out service! We were looking for a place to eat late…read moreSunday night and every local place in town that WAS open after 10pm, wasn't serving food. We walk into Spankie's (questionable name, but really good apparently according to locals haha), and the bartender suggests 19th Hole ("Really good burgers!" He yells as we walk out, excited to have found SOMEwhere local to eat that was open late. We get there and are greeted by the friendly bartender, who immediately waves us three girls over to the bar, and says sit wherever with the best news of the night: "We serve food until 2am." Even though he was the only person running the bar and booths, we had fast, friendly service the whole night. And the food! I had the Smokehouse burger, with house made sauce (unfortunately they don't sell it in bottles; I asked) and fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. The other two girls had the wings and the Cuban sandwich. Everything was on point. We'll definitely be back if we make our way back to Cookeville!
