My wife and I stopped in after our jog along the Tidewater Biketrail, making this our lunch pit stop after starting at Lathrop Road. The Char Siu Pork Bánh Mì is an easy 5/5. The baguette was fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy inside. The char siu pork was tender, juicy, and perfectly caramelized around the edges. Crisp pickled carrots and daikon, plenty of cilantro, and fresh jalapeños brought everything together. It's a well-balanced sandwich with a portion that's just right. The Grilled Chicken Roll'd deserves more attention. The grilled chicken reminded me of a flavorful chicken satay, and the peanut sauce complemented every bite without overpowering the fresh ingredients. If you're looking for a lighter, protein-packed option, this is it. They also offered complimentary strawberry and passion fruit refreshers. They were a little sweeter than my preference, but the flavors were refreshing. Next time, I'd order one at 50% sweetness. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and a welcome escape from the Central Valley heat. Service has always been friendly, and it's the kind of place where both the staff and regulars make you feel welcome. There's also a Tracy location, but I find myself coming back to the Manteca restaurant. It's smaller, more intimate, and has a charm all its own. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Great food, great people, and a relaxed atmosphere. I always say, good food brings out the best in people. The chicken in the vermicelli dish was outstanding, flavorful but not overpowering with spice. Salad items were fresh and crunchy. Both of the soup dishes were full of flavor, beef stew on a spicy side. Chicken noodle soup is old classic that was executed beautifully in this eatery. I tried Thai tea as well and it was yummy. Not too sweet. All in all, great value for the quality and quantity of food.

I also like that they have a rotating tap list and the staff is pretty friendly. They offer quite a bit of options for games to play at your table, and the kids menu is a plus. My only gripe would be that their soda's aren't very good- I don't know if their machine needs to be cleaned or changed out but whenever I order a coke it is not good. It would be nice if they offered canned sodas instead.

There's plenty of seating, including standard tables, a full bar, and a long high-top table tucked beneath an overhang that's perfect for larger groups. Behind the bar, two TVs provide entertainment, and a large display showcases their rotating craft beer selection. They also offer happy hour Wednesday through Sunday. We were seated right away, and our server greeted us shortly afterward. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the beer selection. If you're unsure what to order, they'll gladly provide complimentary samples, or you can opt for a beer flight to sample four different brews. I ordered the bacon nacho fries topped with pulled pork along with a beer flight. Every beer was cold, fresh, and flavorful. The nacho fries were the standout of the meal. They were surprisingly delicious. The fries stayed nice and crispy despite all the toppings, giving each bite a great balance of texture and flavor. Two of us shared the appetizer along with our drinks, and it was more than enough food. I'd definitely order it again. Overall, we had a great experience. Between the welcoming service, excellent craft beer, and tasty food, this is a place I'll definitely be returning to so I can work my way through more of the menu.

The restaurant is seated to the back of the parking lot with a liquor store to the right. You know, you've found the place with their large grill on the corner of the lot. The Hubbs had stopped in previously after going to the liquor store next-door for an energy drink and had gotten a mini burrito which he felt had homemade flavor and great size to eat while driving to work. When you walk in your hit with a bunch of mini boards and behind that is an open kitchen, where two ladies were doing prep and cooking. We decided to get a sampling of their food and got a chili verde sope, shrimp & al pastor tacos, Quesabirria tacos and a mini carne asada taco. The food is all made to order and had a fresh homemade taste to it. Surprisingly the mini burrito which I thought would be basic had a great taste and size. The salsa bar has several options and all the items were also very fresh. The food had a homemade quality, they're not skimpy with the toppings, and the price won't break the bank.

Place has a salsa bar and some limited seating. I ordered the carne asada super quesadilla as well as two chicharonnes tacos and a horchata. Was given a tray for chips and two cups for the salsa bar. Salsa bar was pretty good they had a lot of options as well as grilled/pickled veggies. Food came out and the quesadillas were sliced in a narrow way which i liked cuz i can dip in the salsa. Tacos were also good and flavorful. Overall great place for Mexican food. For sure would come back and try their ribs or other meats.

The chandeliers on the ceiling give you romantic lighting. You have the gold leaf decor It's truly beautiful and perfect in every way. I think the only area of the decor that is lacking is that the pictures on the wall don't match the name of the business or the look that they're going for. The gold frames are nice on some of the pictures, but the pictures themselves should definitely be changed out. This is absolutely the perfect size for a pizza place. Small and conveniently located. Customer service is beyond excellent. I can definitely see this being a really cool hangout spot for small groups. When it comes to cleanliness, I don't know that I've ever seen. The interior of a restaurant this clean. And that speaks volumes for the business and how much the employees and the owners care about it. I know that this is an express location, so it's more for to-go-based orders. But the only thing I find as a disadvantage for the people who want to eat inside is that they don't have a soda machine or an ice machine. They do offer to-go drinks, bottled sodas, etc. But that doesn't really do you any good. You could probably go to the gas station in the parking lot and get a cup of ice if it was really that serious. I don't like the ranch at all it's lacking flavor and is super tart just off putting. The spicy ranch is all jalapeño and maybe some chili flakes; not sure but it's just as off as the regular ranch. But everyone has different taste buds, and for some people, these ranches might be absolutely amazing. This is just my opinion. Now, although I believe the barbecue sauce is probably store-bought, it definitely makes everything taste better. And I would have to say I believe strongly that both versions of the ranch are made in-house. The breadsticks are wonderful and a good portion size. Make sure you get them with cheese and garlic. The pizza dough is good, definitely, ask for it to be cooked a little extra I think that crunch makes it that much better but the pizza sauce again is probably made in-house and is very Italian seasoning-forward very light tomato taste. It could definitely use some tlc to turn it up a notch but it's not terrible it just speaks to inexperience. Again just my opinion. NOTE TO THE OWNER, don't use the "menu" under the pizza or breadsticks it holds all the grease and oil and makes the food soggy. Just FYI I know it looks cool but doesn't work. Food is super filling but a little overpriced, I just see a few areas for improvement. Overall a great experience the customer service would have me come back by itself.

I'll comment on the taste in a bit but I want to first highlight something I've never experienced. In all my work-from-home years I've never once had to-go experience where the dishes looked like they'd been plated for table service at the restaurant. Sure some stuff shifted in the Dasher's car but it honestly blew me away. Even the drink was carefully wrapped and put in a little box to ensure it wouldn't leak everywhere. As for the important bit, the taste, man... I have had so many amazing Thai meals at places in the bay area and honestly just assumed the most Modesto would get is some great Banh Mi spots. Obviously I haven't had the chance to try the whole menu but my go-to, Tom Kha, this is the best Thai coconut soup I've ever had! The Pad Thai is as good if not better than what I've had in San Francisco as well. I'm really looking forward to bringing friends and family here to check it out in person! Side note... yes, it's also very expensive ordering via Doordash with their added fees but it's 2026 and it's California. So far my multiple orders have been well worth the price and I expect the same experience in person! (just, you know, without the extra Doordash fee nonsense)
