We had an average time. We arrived as one of the first reservations so I want to cut a little slack here. When we got to our table we noticed that other tables had different settings and an expandable hand towel. We were a bit bummed to not have that same treatment. When ordering we were presented with some specials but unfortunately not all of the specials for that night as the table next to us were told more things that we actually would have ordered had we known. Cutting slack here for being one of the first tables. After food came, I was bummed that the steak and shrimp were just that while my husband has potatoes and green beans. The dish needed more - but needed less garlic in my opinion. The blackberry mocktail mojito was very delicious. I enjoyed my meal but I don't think we will be back. The price was steep for being just a nice cut of meat. Honestly I think we can have the same night and dinner at home for less of the cost.

We arrived at 5 PM on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with tasteful Christmas music in the background. The Pines is a converted old mansion. It has a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The food was all delicious and the portions were just right. You could easily split a salad or dessert. We were most impressed by the friendly wait staff. They were so accommodating and friendly. We will be going back.

The Pines was a delicious restaurant. I ate their gnocchi and it was amazing. It truly melts in your mouth. They make the dough fresh from scratch. This is the best gnocchi I've ever had. The baked Brie was a delicious appetizer that I really enjoyed. It had a nice smoky flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very romantic and high-end. Our server was very attentive. The only downside to this restaurant is they only have two restrooms and I'm not a fan of the gravel parking lot.

We had a great experience here! The service was excellent, and Mike (our server) was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious across the board. My friends ordered the steak, and even as someone who is very picky, I was impressed. I ordered the Thai Coconut Halibut. It was great, but it could have used more sauce. I would get the Filet and Shrimp next time. We also shared the Parmesan Bread (amazing) & Pesto Escargot (good). The patio is super cute, but it was too cold to enjoy this time. I will definitely be back in the summer to sit outside! One of my friends ordered the Halibut special and did not enjoy it. The website has an old menu on it so I was a little disappointed when some of the items I saw on the website were not on the current menu. The website also does not have an alcohol menu on it so I wasn't sure if they had it. Update: they do.

Great food. Our server (Mike) was very knowledgeable about all menu items.... However. In out dining area the main lighting was pulled from the cielingAND NOT GROUNDED!!!! If not for the unsafe light it would be a 4.5.

Fantastic food and service!…read more We came to La Caille and enjoyed their Valentine's Day special menu, the food was to die for and we immensely enjoyed the wine flight paired by Troy -- who we were lucky enough to have as our waiter this evening. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable, he was even kind enough to give us a tour after our meal. We also had the pleasure of meeting Meg and Zane this evening, they were so professional and lovely to talk to. Matt in valet was so helpful when our Uber couldn't find its way to us at the end of the night. The food and atmosphere were exactly what we were looking for in a romantic evening, but the people at La Caille put the experience over the top and I wish I could give more stars. We just liked being there with them, which is such a rare experience when you're going out to dinner. Can't wait to come back to learn more about and experience this place. Thank you!

First off, the main entrance…read morewas closed so to get there it was a detour through the backside of the property via a residential neighborhood. Thankfully they had signs. I had done my research ahead of time otherwise it wasn't clear that there is no self parking options-only valet parking. The grounds and property are beautiful and we enjoyed some photos ahead of brunch. Our group was seated in a semi-private room and the service was impeccable. However - the food... was sadly lackluster and overpriced. I had the chateau breakfast for $39 which included eggs to order, ham (my protein choice), breakfast potatoes and a small slice of crème brûlée French toast. The highlight for me was the potatoes. The ham super dry, the eggs undercooked(I ordered over medium and they were like a sunny side up consistency), and the French toast felt like eating sand without much flavor. Thankfully the "complimentary" croissants were delicious and fresh. Aside from the company I was with, the ambiance and service - I do not recommend nor would I return.

Our server was great and hostess and valet were also great . That's what gave this experience the stars is the staff ... While the food was good quality and actually cooked by chefs and not just assembled from a Sysco truck, I was very underwhelmed because of the temperature of the food. I'm usually not the one in our family who cares most about this but with the "elevated dining" I expected more ... like warm food! It doesn't have to be hot but everything fireside was at best room-temperature. Then the dessert fondue was too runny and never formed a layer over what I was attempting to coat. Because of this I really debated between only two stars over three stars, but as I said the food is high quality and the presentation is cool, but the execution is majorly lacking. Especially with what is expected of Deer Valley and an elevated experience for $$$$. Also, there isn't a dress code, which is fine. Except one woman was dress in her ski underclothes and her Moonboots and that's it. I mean, clothes should be expected, not one step up from PJs or sweats. And I do understand this is a family restaurant, I have kids. Kids can go to the buffet alone and behave like they're in a restaurant, but kids were playing tag and running around and hanging off people's tables that weren't their parents; I know the restaurant can't control kids, but a manager should be able to inform people of this disturbance. Or maybe it should be deemed as family dining and not an elevated experience because of elevated I'd expect to enjoy the time without someone else's kids checking out what's on my plate. The ClifsNotes: Elevated experiences should have warm food, people in clothing, and behaved/monitored kids.

Service can be slow and the food is unmistakenly Provençal: Beef tartar (nice mustard notes), Saffron Muscles, and Pressed Chicken. All dishes were light and authentic flavors to the region of Provence -- I think we just like other French regions better. HITS: Cocktails; Bread; Poulette (presents as a salad served on pressed chicken) MISSES: The muscles were dry - served in a small puddle of saffron beurre blanc. Service and a remarkable lack of knowledge by our waiter made Le Depot feel more like Le Dope. From the drink menu to the ingredients and preparation of some dishes, the waiter didn't possess some basic knowledge. Maybe we just asked "really hard" questions? The bar for service in PC has been set high by surrounding establishments like Handel, River Horse and Fletcher's, where the waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful .. this was the lasting memory from Le Depot.
