Yummy ice cream!!! Inside was so cool. So fun to look at the wall of visitors. There were lots of chocolates and other sweets but they're pretty expensive compared to prices I'm used to. I got a double scoop so I could try the pumpkin gingersnap and Halloween treat flavours. The pumpkin one was very flavourful. I was glad I had another flavour to mellow it out. Both were great and very creamy. We sat outside to enjoy the sun. Very nice place read more

Accidentally stumbled upon this place during a walk with the wife. She wanted ice cream so we went in and ordered. I went with the Oreo cheesecake. Best ice cream and chocolate in Buffalo. My favorite is chocolate eclair and Snickers. All made at their location in Williamsville, New York. Don't forget the chocolate so many varieties to choose from. Such a cute place. It's like you're going back in time. The staff is the best. So helpful. Wow! What a great place to stop for ice cream! From the delicious homemade choices, to the fun comic book stuff for sale, to the other treats, to the location by Glen Falls, this is a must stop destination for the warmer months! I have visited a couple of times, meeting friends to have lunch, walk around town and the falls, and grab a treat and have always been extremely satisfied with the visit! They have so many good choices of creamy, handmade options. I love their fresh waffle cones! Another thing that sets them apart from the abundance of yummy homemade ice cream in WNY is all the fun stuff in their shop! The upstairs has so many fun toys and trinkets to browse, and there are a variety of other candies for purchase that you can bring home so the treats don't stop. Location can be everything, and I highly recommend pairing a stop for ice cream with a walk around Glen Falls, what could be better? read more

I like everything about this place. The history. The ambience. That it has indoor and outdoor service windows and outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Glen Falls Park with your dog. The orange chocolate ice cream is worth traveling for. All of their ice cream is quite good. And all of their chocolates and confections are of high-quality. Although their menu says they have coffee, they don't. For some reason, Sweet Jenny's simply does not serve coffee, which is a shame because that would really make this place an ultimate dessert stop. When customers show the servers behind the counter on their phones, that the digital menu says coffee, they claim that it refers to coffee ice cream. When the weather is warm, there is nothing like walking the park with a cup of sweet Jenny's delicious ice cream in your hand. read more

You want to buy a quart of ice cream and a cone? Apparently you have to buy the quart at the counter inside, then go outside and get in another line and order the cone outside at the window 6 ft away, even though the ice cream comes from the same place. Ok, it helps your work flow, but for the customer it makes no sense. Or you can just go somewhere else because this is something a place does when they have too many customers. ----( I appreciate the response but it must be confused with a similar customer encounter. I had several in my party that already ordered outside, but I attempted to order inside to buy a quart of ice cream and one to stay. But their "policy" meant I wasn't interested in waiting in line inside to pay for a quart, then go outside and waiting in another line to order and pay for a cone. And it turns out 10 min later it started raining and everyone ordered inside anyway. There may be business reasons for the policy but it doesn't make sense for the customer. read more

Sweet Jenny's was our after dinner treat for the day. It's a very cool, renovated historical building that once served as a flour mill, among other things. It was built in the 1800's. It's very interesting inside. Primarily a homemade ice-cream shop, they also have a lot of chocolate candy and other items for sale. You can view the ice cream production area through a large window. It can be busy but it's a stop you won't regret. It's a beautiful spot and a wonderful place to get some great ice cream. I had a Turtle Sundae. Yum. read more

Buffalo is apparently know for 3 food items: Buffalo wings, beef on weck and sponge candy. And as a Giants fan, I will also remember them for that missed field goal that put them on the streak of 4 straight Super Bowl losses! I tried the wings and the weck, so I had to try this sponge candy. Sweet Jenny's was nearby and so picked some up. They are not cheap! 1/2 pound was 16.95. Wow! These sponges must be soaking up the $$$!! Were they worth it? Maybe if you never had it before. The toffee in the middle melts in your mouth and so you are left with a chocolate toffee mix that is pretty enjoyable. Think of a Heath bar but instead of the crunchy chewy toffee in the middle, it is a crisp center that disintegrates as you chew it. Not bad. read more

To the Point: Ordered $150 plus worth of product that was acknowledged but I never received. (Previously shopped at Watson's Chocolates, East Amherst,, Never had issues.....) Sadly disappointed at the customer service. I contacted the store for delivery specifics and I submitted an order online on the afternoon,12/16/25. I was informed by the (young sounding, likely high school age) employee that the orders usually ship 1-3 business days (according to the website US priority mail) but with the holiday may be up to 5 business days.....ok that will still work. I received an email shortly after I ordered online that the order was accepted and being processed. Card was charged on 12/17/25. Order was to have the items during the Christmas holiday. 12/27/25 No order arrived. I sent an email to address listed on website, inquiring about my order. STRIKE 1 12/30/25- NO response from mgt. STRIKE 2 12/30/25 called the store requesting to speak with a manager, request refused. Employee instructed me to send email to the address listed. I stated that had already had been done, had not received a reply, and requested again to speak with a manager, Denied. Employee stated and attempted to check store data base regarding order. Was told that they didn't have the access level to check deeper, Thus the reason to speak with a manager... No information, tracking regarding my order was accessed STRIKE 3 Was told it would be looked into and I would be notified via phone. I understand holiday is busy mail season, US Priority states 1-3 business days, 9 Business days later, no order arrived. Poor service and no confidence in any further order deliveries, based on my experience. read more

Nothing goes together better than ice cream and summer. Sweet Jenny's is a staple when it comes to Williamsville and ice cream in WNY. I will say, I am not the biggest ice cream person. I enjoy it but I'm not the "every summer night needs ice cream" kinda guy. But this place really has something for everyone. We went with family to go grab ice cream, walk around Glen Park (stay tuned for that review too), and celebrate a couple of birthdays. When you walk in, there is a sense of nostalgia and almost wonder like quality. It reminds me of ice cream shops from my childhood that really established some core memories. Definitely some great vibes in this shop. I ended up getting some of their Oreo Cheesecake ice cream. Just a single serving which was a really great size and pretty good value-wise too. I also ended up finishing up some of the soft serve twist we had for my son. (We call that the Dad Tax) The ice cream was phenomenal when it came to flavor and it wasn't too frozen or too melty, just right in the consistency department. Overall, I gotta give it up to the staff here. They have quick service, super friendly, and put out a great product. There is also a Willy Wonka size amount and variety of candy available. Stay tuned for the dentist review I'll have after eating all of that too. So fun, and we will definitely be back for more! read more

Ice cream in a local spot that offers a fun vibe. Yes. Jenny's is a large red building that clearly holds some history just by looking at it. You'll find street or lot parking and head up the stairs to the entry. Inside it splits to an upstairs area that holds a shop, while downstairs is the ice cream and sweets area. They are located near a bunch of restaurants and quaint stores, so it's easy to do several things if you're looking to make a day or adventure out of it! The staff was always friendly to us when we'd pop in, and it was easy to love the whole experience. Overall: A Parking is the only real hiccup here as it's a busy area, but it's worth a bit of a trek for a sweet treat! read more

If you go for the ice cream alone, it's amazing. If you go for the homemade chocolate alone, it is even better. If you go for the comic bookstore and collectibles upstairs, you have found the perfect experience. The service there was unbelievable! Super friendly, extremely helpful and the owner is a great guy. I had three generations of my family he was attentive to every one of us - he ask names and how we all fit together. The store is amazing and he did justice by the old flower mill. It is a very relaxing walk-through,l the old building and taking your time to experience all that it has to offer. Such a great concept and greatly executed. Owner should be proud. It is the perfect. "Buffalo" experience. read more

Tasty ice cream and lots of options. When I visited Sweet Jenny's, I was excited to see all the options. Ordering happened at an outdoor counter and the pickup was a few paces down. They had a line, but moved quickly through it. I went for a one-scoop option of one of their chocolate specialty ice creams. The ice cream was rich and one scoop was enough. The only seating they had was outdoors on basic outdoor tables. The tables didn't have umbrella or shade, so we didn't stay for long. I'd say that this place is definitely more of a grab and go scenario, which is fine by me. I liked it! read more

Every time we come up to Williamsville, we must have Sweet Jennys. We left Pittsburgh In enough time to make it before closing time. We were so happy. I almost always get the cinnamon nutmeg (you can't really taste the nutmeg) because I love it. However, I thought I better branch out and try Something new. Chocolate peanut butter swirl got me. It was creamy, chocolate peanut buttery deliciousnesss. My husband wasn't super impressed with the butter beer. It sort of tasted like butterscotch but didn't blow us away. He normally liked the other flavors that he's tried. They're quick to get you your ice cream. We really enjoy them. read more

Such a cute little ice cream place! They had tons of unique flavors to choose from. I got the Oreo cheesecake ice cream and it was really good! The ice cream base itself tasted like the cheesecake flavor, which was great. The staff was friendly and got my ice cream to me so quickly. You order at one window and then pick up your ice cream at another window. There's also a little candy shop inside with so many different kinds of chocolate and candy. I liked looking at all the classic candies! Overall I really enjoyed it here! read more

Pretty good. Def looks like the local ice cream shop. They make all their ice cream and chocolate there. I had a rainbow cookie milkshake. Now I realized after ordering it, it's not Italian rainbow cookie. So a bit mis leading. It was vanilla ice cream with sprinkles, red food coloring and some chocolate pieces. It did hit the spot though and was refreshing on the 80 degree day. They should use boba straws or something wider when the ice cream in the shake has chunks. It was hard to use the straw to drink it when the chunks got caught in the straw. Also you can't try any flavors :( so docking a star since if I was able to try the rainbow cookie I would have realized it's not what I thought. Otherwise staff were nice. The chocolate is okay, I had a caramel cheesecake truffle. Didn't really taste like either. Just a sweet truffley thing. Really cute store though with a comic book shop on top. The building is super old and has so much charm. read more

I have received an ice cream pie from Sweet Jenny's for my last 5 birthdays (and mother's day) and I NEVER WANT ANYTHING ELSE. Ever. Their homemade ice cream is absolutely to die for and their vanilla cookie shortbread crust... man oh man... I love it. Sweet Jenny's is definitely a Williamsville staple. The people working at the window are always lovely and even long lines move relatively quickly. The flavors rotate and they have some really special options. I'm not a fruit ice cream person but their black raspberry peach is incredible. My only criticism is the vegan ice cream is very icy rather than creamy. It's been disappointing and even more expensive than the other ice cream, which is already quite pricey. read more

The Stracciatella flavor is legit the best ice cream I have *ever* had. And I have lived in NYC! It's a rich vanilla with tiny shavings of chocolate. I also love their vegan peanut butter chocolate when they have it! And you can't go wrong with Sweet Cream or Double Dark Chocolate. read more

You are coming here to enjoy everything they have to offer. So many different types of chocolates and of course their house made ice creams. What a assortment of different types of flavors. I didn't get chocolate on this trip. But the ice cream I purchased this trip, was Bailey's and a jack Daniels. Both flavors require you to be 21st old. As for the taste, I feel both tasted quite similar. I feel they both tasted more like a coffee ice cream, than what the liquor they were suppose to be. BUT it still tasted good, and you could feel the alcohol in the ice cream. I will be coming back to try the other Sweets Jenny has to offer. read more

I typically do my chocolate shopping at one of the competitors stores however I thought I would try Watson's chocolate and my first impression was very high. One of the items I purchased was orange sponge candy and she had a little concern that maybe some of it wasn't up to the high standards that they try to abide by so she asked if you check the box first. She explained that during the summer time sometimes sponge candy doesn't survive the trip for too long so no problem I said she gloved up and checked all of them, found a couple that weren't passing her quality control standards so she replaced them. I took that box and a couple of other selections, paid and left. One of the other items I tried was fudge meltaway which I had never actually had before. Personally my wife and I didn't care for it however that is probably just our personal palate coming into play as I'm quite certain it wasn't prepared improperly or anything. The coconut patties were very good and the orange sponge candy honestly some of it was kind of chewy. The fact that she had some concern over the quality of this and felt the need to check it kind of threw up a little bit of a red flag for me and after getting it home and having some I'd have to say I'm a little disappointed. I'm not by any means a connoisseur of sponge candy or anything however if what she said was true about it staying fresh during the summer months and obviously she had some concern that it may not have been, why wouldn't you just pull all of it off the shelf and make more? I mean I used to manage a restaurant and it's the same idea in my opinion, if you're not happy with the food going out, don't send it. I would rather have purchased just milk chocolate sponge candy and been reassured that they didn't have orange because it failed their quality check. So I took one star off what would have been a five star review for that reason, the other one I took off because I couldn't find the building. If you approach this location from the side that I did, the side that faces a little strip mall with a good sized parking lot, there is no signage of any kind anywhere that says hey this is a store that sells chocolate. It just looks like a house sitting on a separate property off to the side. My GPS said I was there, I'm driving around the parking lot for 5 minutes looking at all of the store fronts trying to find Watson's chocolate, and it doesn't exist. I finally put my GPS on walking directions and found myself approaching like I said what looked like somebody's big old house... And I didn't even feel comfortable doing that until I got about 6 ft from the door where there's a sheet of paper sized sign that says Watson's chocolate and has the hours posted. I mean seriously something that could be seen from the road would have been nice, something that could have been seen from the parking lot would have been even better. Apparently if you approached this from the other direction there's a great big sign so I would have had to have driven past it not realizing it and did a u-turn and then I would have said oh there it is. The lady working inside like I said was very super polite and I suggested that to her and she kind of looked at me and said the owners are aware of it but they haven't done anything about it yet. I'm guessing nobody local has a problem because yeah they probably know where this place is however I live over 3 hours away and didn't have a clue. So yeah I'm kind of mixed as far as my opinion of the actual chocolate, I might go back and try a couple other selections and see how they taste. If I do I will try a different sponge candy, maybe one that sells more often so the stock is rotated more often.
