The whole dish was icy, sweet, and yet has a warm taste from the cardamon. I could have easily eaten a medium, and I'm so sad I only got a small. That's my bad. We didn't try the kabobs, but I bet if they are half as good as the Afghanistan ice cream, they will be awesome.
