Can I give this 10 stars? I LOVE this place…read more It starts with the staff. Such friendly, warm and just plain enjoyable people- you can't help but smile when they talk to you. The owner, Deb, knows nearly all of her customers by name and makes me feel so welcomed every time I walk in the door. Deb offers a great selection of second hand clothes for women from juniors to plus size. The clothes and shoes are used, but you would never know as she only stocks the best. There is such a variety of clothing, you WILL find what you are looking for (and several things you didn't know you wanted). The selection changes constantly, but is never overwhelming. It is just the perfect amount of options to explore. Now, lets talk price. From the $2 rack (yes, you read that right TWO dollars- which is kept well stocked and rotated, AND provides donations to a local animal fostering organization), $5-$10 jewelry, to the $12 shoes, a person can build an entire outfit with less than $20. Do yourself a favor, take $30 and 45 minutes, and treat yourself to a fantastic shopping experience. You will not be disappointed. (And there is a monthly raffle if you spend a certain amount)

Okay, I'll be the first to review this Salvation Army location. Yay!…read more Came here recently with the girlfriend on our way up to Buffalo. Had very little time to stop and putz around as we had plans THAT evening. But I said you know what? There could be some really great finds at this thrift store. So... I decided to completely throw off our entire itinerary and ruin our evening by blowing at least an hour and a half rummaging through musty second-hand clothing in a strange town we'd never heard of before. And I'm pretty glad I did. Upon walking in there was a pretty cluttered, haphazard housewares/general merch section with a lot of old suitcases and stuff that was luring me in pretty hard. Good selection of old sunglasses and there was an old, cheesy looking watch I wanted but it didn't work and I didn't feel like fussing with it. Book selection was okay. The clothing selection was kinda slim pickin's, but I did find a pretty old, worn out-looking red button-down shirt and they did have a bunch of marching band uniforms, which I wavered over for quite a while (in fact, that was probably what took up the bulk of my time there). In the end, I passed on the uniforms but did buy a couple of Mantovani LPs which were in okay condition and a 1990s Casio keyboard which doesn't work, and will probably sit in the trunk of my car for the next five years. Oh, and my girlfriend and I were officially broken up all the way from Elmira until about twenty minutes outside of Buffalo because she was pretty pissed. P.S. Totally started to regret not buying one of the marching band uniforms about ten minutes after we left. Live and learn.

Wow, what a huge store! There were so many rows of clothes, I could hardly believe it. The service wasn't as great as I would have liked. They had multiple people trying to deal with one customer while a large line formed at the check out.

SELLERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more I brought 4 bags of clothes in the this establishment about a week ago. When I walked in the lady at the desk told me she could price me but she was busy and I could leave them there and I would be contacted the next day. 3 days later I called and I was told the owner would call back. Another 2 days later I hadn't heard back STILL so I drive to the store to find my clothes hanging on the racks. I had brought in around 30 articles of clothing, I was told they were going to offer me $40... I was told I could take the money or go find my clothing on the racks and take it back... I don't understand why no one contacted me even after they admitted they knew they contacted someone else for my bundle. I would not recommend selling here. I will also not return here to shop which is disappointing because when I dropped off my clothes here it seemed like a cute shop.

My daughter brought over 50 items of clothing and shoes, many of which had never been worn, with a…read moreretail value of over $600. She was told that she would get a call within a week after they had looked over her items and chosen what they would purchase. After a week and getting no phone call, she called and left a message. She called again the next day and again her call was never returned. We went down to SoHo Clothing Exchange the next day because she was starting to get worried about being ripped off. Her fears were valid. As she entered the store there was a rack filled with her clothing that had been hung up and priced. Understand at this point that NO ONE had called her, NO ONE had given her the opportunity to see what items they wanted to purchase from her, NO ONE had given her any money or given her the chance to accept an offer to purchase them. Her property was for sale in this store without her permission. This is theft. The owner offered her $40 for the items that she kept and had already started selling. My daughter had no opportunity to even see what items the owner had kept and sold. My daughter was extremely angry at this point and told her she wanted $60 and all the rest of her stuff returned. At this point we should have called the police and filed charges, I wish we had. My daughter walked out of this store shaking in anger at being ripped off with $60 and less than a dozen items the owner did not want. This store kept over 35 items including leather boots and clothing with tags on them. The owner did offer my daughter the opportunity to go around the store and take her things back but what about the things the store had already sold? I do not recommend this store and this review will go on every review site I can find.
