Also, one of the housekeeping ladies by the name of Yara was so sweet and always made sure our room was tidy and always made sure we had enough Towels and that our room was clean. I understand that there are no guarantees for rooms to be ready but the parking lot was empty so I was surprised when I was told my room was not ready. While waiting in the lobby, I saw groups of hotel housekeeping staff loitering at the front desk and heading outside for a smoke. I've never seen that in a hotel lobby before. After 30 minutes and after seeing a few people check in and get rooms, I asked again about my room and was told it still wasn't ready so I asked if I could have a different room and got one. Why wasn't I offered that in the first place? Breakfast was awful and they should consider not offering it if it's going to be that bad. As bad as the food was, the worst part was that the housekeeping staff came through and got breakfast for themselves while guests were also trying to eat. They were loud and inappropriate. I travel quite a bit for work and have never seen anything like this before. I was very disappointed.
