Very clean and all members of the staff that we encountered were very nice and professional. We took my toddler to a free trial soccer class and although it wasn't for him, the coaches were very good about making sure they knew all of the kids name and that everyone was included as much as possible. We will try soccer again when he is a little older and follows direction a little bit better. read more

I play once a week regularly + practice once in a while here. So far this is the best place for inline hockey in the world. There are 3 nice rinks, facility is pretty new and clean. Staff members are all nice. The Pro shop is inside the facility and it is really convenient. Even if you don't play, you can just come over and enjoy watching the game. They opened "High Five" restaurant right next to the rink recently. You can have some nice pizza and beer and watch the game from the seat! read more

The sportsplex is a great facility for people of all ages. I've played indoor soccer at numerous places, and the quality of the fields here are very good. If anyone is debating between Off the Wall or the Sportsplex for indoor soccer, the Sportxplex blows it out of the water. Friendly staff as well. read more

Our son loves playing roller hockey here for his school. The rinks are in great shape. The best part for us parents is that the food here is EXCELLENT plus they have beer/wine. My husband started at Rollin Ice, waaaay back in the beginning in 1996. Yes, we remember the days at the Fair Grounds. In 2005 my son started playing a Rollin Ice with the children's recreational league. He's never looked back! We made the move to Silver Creek Sportsplex in 2007 and LOVE this facility. With 3 rinks of hockey, (Plus many other activities!) this location is the best we've ever been in. Full glass enclosures make watching the on-rink action an amazing thing. No more wondering what is going on below hip height! My son still plays rec hockey, however he now also plays for his High School, as well as travel hockey. With travel hockey, you really come to understand how blessed we are with SC Sportplex. It is the largest, cleanest facility we've attended hockey tournaments in. There is plenty of seating for all who wish to come and watch, more standing room for over flow and a friendly, helpful staff and a well stocked proshop. The additional benefits of Rollin Ice at Silver Creek Sportsplex include the High 5 pizza parlor (which serves way more than pizza!) LOL parties to entertain non-hockey playing siblings and the Club One fitness, so mom and dad can work out while the kids practice. There is really no other rink you will want to go to, once you've been to Rollin Ice! read more

I have played soccer here for a few years. the staff is very helpful and the facility is always clean. I do think that the refs could be a bit better, due to the amount that they charge per team. High Five at the Plex is good pizza, and it's nice to grab a beer after the game sometime. Overall, much better than Off the Wall. read more

Great rink and great place. With three rinks to play and watch, you can always find a game. They have leagues for all ages and free clinics for kids 7 and under as well as adult starteres. Rinks and facility are always clean and upkeep is very good. If your waiting for child or between games, they have plenty of T.V.s as well as High 5 restaurant and free wifi. My family spends at least 3 days a week there. Great for kids, great for family. read more

Ok, this is a weird review but this place is SO COOL! Giant Indoor sports complex. Beautiful hockey rinks with glass panels all the way to the floor. We went for a tournament and spent 5 days there. Amazing food! Ample seating. You can even watch the hockey games while you eat. The food blew my mind because they made a gluten free pizza for me exactly how I ordered it. Very disappointed with Silver Creek Sportsplex: Yesterday for the 3rd time the soccer coach has failed to show. Our young grandson is on a soccer team there and loves soccer so he/and his teammates were very disappointed and let down that there wasn't a game even though it was scheduled. What is worse is that is the opposing team didn't show. What kind of place would to this to young players? Parents pay for their kids to play soccer there and then to have this happen. Not only were the players let down but their fanclub (grandparents, aunts, uncles etc.) were too. I wouldn't recommend this place for soccer and I think the parents should get a refund!! read more

The little kickers program is absolutely horrible! Sara or however that girl is directing the program was incredibly insensitive and rude as can be. The place is dirty and the management there is not up to par with other programs I have been too. Also, they seem really mean to their employees and if that's how they behave to the people who work for them, you should probably not take your children there! read more

My husband plays soccer here and loves it! While he is playing soccer I take my child to the bouncy houses. We've been going here for about 2 years and I have to say the condition of the bouncy houses is terrible they never clean or sanitize, used gum and trash is every where. The worst part is the most of the bouncy houses are deflating, the patches are coming apart which can easily catch small feet. They have 2 employees watching the kids but to be honest its not enough, and I feel sorry for them, there are way to many kids for one to man the gate and the other to run around trying to get the kids to behave. It use to cost 12$ for 2 hours of play and they raised the price to 14$, if you are going to raise prices use the money to upkeep they bouncy houses please. Unfortunately we will not be coming back until there is some improvement made. I hope this review will improve the silver creek sportsplex. read more

my experience with this place is in relation to the adult leagues only, they may have a great kids program but i would have no way of knowing if it is any better. to start off, the facility is decent. there are 3 rinks so they can have 3 games going at any given time. the hours are good, games can range from 6-11, which sometimes poses a problem but i dont mind. the staff for the most part is helpful but a few of the kids who work there can be real douchebags, especially the rink rats who never seem to leave. there are a few aspects of the adult leagues that make it almost impossible to enjoy the game. first off are the refs, they range from terrible to indifferent, when they are not causing problems, they act like they dont give a crap about being there. second, the leagues themselves are horribly mismanaged, teams are often not placed in the proper skill levels and match-ups are sometimes very one sided. another problem is that this place is horribly overpriced. you really dont get much for your money. the clocks never stop, the refs suck, if you get stuck on a new team, kiss the season goodbye because likely your playing against a bunch of teams who have played with each other for years and belong in a higher division. all in all, it is what you make of it i guess, i used to play here when i was in high school and those are some of my fondest memories from that time. now ive been at the new facility for a year and i cant seem to get the same enjoyment out of it that i used to. i dont know how much longer i will be playing here. on a small note, the parking lot got new speed bumps and its incredibly annoying, not that its rollin ices fault, just saying. read more

I volunteer here a couple weekends out of the month and that gets me a free membership to Club One. This place is a GREAT family place. It is essentially a gigantic indoor sportsplex that has 3 roller hockey rinks, 3 soccer fields that are also used for football and la crosse. There's arcade games and a whole section in the back with a HUGE play structure (like the ones at fast food chains but WAY better) for little kids. Of course, there's also several party rooms for kids birthday parties and the restaurant in the middle (High Five) has big screen TV's, wifi and decent fare (pizza,burgers, snacks, etc.) as well as a full bar in the corner. You can view the games from their observation deck. They also have martial arts classes and a golf clinic with all that high tech stuff you use to analyze your swing. It definitely caters to the Silicon Valley corporate crowd (it's minutes away from Silver Creek Country Club), but there's a broad spectrum of people who utilize this place. Worth a look, for sure. read more

We've been here for a couple children's birthdays, but is review is all about the Open Play on the inflatables. Every December this place does a groupon for half price, but you can't beat the regular prices - $7 for 2 hours of bouncing. When it is raining or ridiculously heat stroke inducingly hot outside and we need to burn off energy this is my go-to place with the kids. Parents of young kids under 4 get to don socks and climb and bounce with their little ones (I love the giant slide but that last step on the climb up is a doozy) and parents of older kids sit near the entrance and socialize while their children race and jump like wild banshees. That's the only reason for subtracting a star - my kids are fine, but friends with more cautious kids can be intimidated by older ones racing and climbing where they shouldn't and neither the parents or staff seem to reprimand the little daredevils who climb the outside of the inflatables or stack mats to leap from one to the other. While it is out there, the freeway gets you there quickly and it is so worth it, The place is clean and uncrowded, there's a high fence and child (and in many cases adult) proof door so you don't have to worry about your little ones disappearing out the back end somewhere. Bathrooms are just outside the play area and are plentiful and clean. We often stop by the High Five for pizza after jumping and early afternoon on a weekday don't have trouble finding a table while the kids are amused by watching whatever game is going on. read more

We are at lil soccer class for first time. Receptionist put us wrong class and they have no idea why. Keep saying we are fine. No explanation and said we can come back two weeks later if we went to try correct class. Why didn't she mention on the phone? She told her coworker she didn't even remember. Might be okay for kids parties but as far as organized hockey leagues, this is horrifically run. Fees continue to increase. Minimum wage employees at the desk and as hockey refs on the rinks are beyond bad. They spend more time on their cell phones than they do officiating the games. Players are ready and lined up before the refs are even on the rink, and no management of any authority is present or cares. The only reason this place is in business is because they are the only game in town who have space. So much potential but so poorly run. Too bad. read more

Purchased a Groupon for 2 hours of free play for 2 children so I brought my children this Tuesday afternoon at 5 pm to let them play and my daughter was celebrating her 5th birthday but since it was a school night, we have only planned her party for the weekend but I wanted her to do something fun on her special day. I get to the registration counter and clearly this girl had not handled a groupon before so she was taking some time putting it into the computer system and asked for manager that was just arriving for help and only after about 10 minutes did the decide to inform me that the free play is not open till 6:30 pm? I would have to wait 1 1/2 hours? They were deflated but I just assumed it was because no one was playing and until a child approaches, flip a switch and let them have fun. Why don't they have hours like the facility does? or after school hours beginning at 3 pm? 6:30 pm is very late on a week day and have my child bounce around after dinner? I asked to speak to a Manager and he said he was the manager for this shift but the general managers had gone home. 5 people were standing behind that counter and they were trying to tell me that they were not staffed to have someone over in that area? I felt they handled this very poorly and not even sympathetic. My poor little girl did not get to bounce and I will be requesting a refund from Groupon and don't plan to return to this facility again. read more

I had a very disturbing experience with this facility. My grandson played in a soccer league this summer. Little did we know the managers son was on another team. They stacked his team and set up the other teams to fail. My grandson's team was humiliated. They were too busy gloating that they didn't even shake hands after. I took my sons ages 3 and 5 to their open playtime at the bounce houses. They bounce houses had a lot of grime on them and several had tears so that you could feel the air flowing through. One of the structures even started to droop when my son pushed against the mesh. They structures were also large for my kids. My youngest couldn't climb the obstacle course and even my 5yo had a hard time. The up side was that we were the only ones playing so I could let them run free without worry. read more

This is by far the best place to play roller hockey. They have 3 full size roller hockey rinks with great customer service and new people to meet. If you have a young child wanting to play hockey I would reccomend that he or she comes and learns here. read more

This place has the WORST customer service and LOUSY treatment of potential new clients ever! TODAY!! During their supposed "Open House & Appreciation Day", they started Martial Arts class 20 min. early (9:40) and wouldn't let my kids join in even though they were there earlier than the printed start time (10). Then they said they were too young anyway, even though printed material said for 4.5 & up! My kids are 4.5 and 5.75. The kids were VERY disappointed to say the least. On to next opportunity, Soccer Goalie lesson. Again, they said that kids were too young, although no age requirements were printed. Now the kids have nothing to do except bouncy house stuff. At the bouncy area they're saying you can only do an hour and kids have to wait til 11:30 to start! So, arrive at Sportsplex at 9:45, 1.5 hours of doing nothing, then 1 hr of free play, then maybe wait again until free skate at 1:30....Not such a great open house for a facility way out in the boonies - no wonder no one in downtown, midtown or rose garden is a member! BTW: had to choose a star rating, but really give them ZERO as I also couldn't reach a live person on the phone today - good thing there wasn't a disaster and had to reach my spouse or kids!!! read more

I've been coming here for years, for high school league play, NARCh and college tourneys, and Wednesday night adult league. Rollin' Ice can't beat it for roller hockey in the Bay Area--maybe even California. The three rinks are all grippy and well-lit, and the boards are consistent (except the one spot in the corner of rink 3 near the soccer field that I've seen snag and snap two sticks' blades).The staff is friendly and helpful, and the leagues and tournaments seem well run. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the refs, specifically the Wednesday night adult league refs. I know that reffing is a tough and thankless job, but some these guys are just inexcusably bad. I think a part of the problem is that they're allowed to play in the league they're reffing--which is obviously a huge conflict of interest. I've had refs chirp me for things that happened when my team was playing against the team they played for. Tyler is the worst of them, to the point where our team will dread playing when he's reffing. He's inconsistent, swears a lot, and can't explain his calls. Sorry, that turned into a rant. I really like going to the sportplex but the staff gets really annoying! I go every Saturday and they don't let the kids run not even walk fast! There is only one guy that is really nice and he apologized many times for a issue we had with a machine! But there is a lot of younger staff members that u can see they don't care they are online looking at clothes and fooling around! This place is ok..... But if u have little kids don't bring them cause the staff is picky about everything read more

This place is great. The customer service is friendly and great people (Manny, Wesley, David, Brian, Chris and Tim in the pro shop, there's more but I can't remember everyone's names). It's clean for a hockey rink (there's only that tiny sweat smell but I think it's just more obvious to me cause I'm a girl and not very used to that). I don't play hockey, but I've been there many times to watch my boyfriend's games. I have been on the rink once during pick up hours. I rented their equipment and they weren't too bad! It was fun and easier than I thought. The rink is smooth, and clean. Although their locker rooms are nothing like Club One's, it's a lot better than you expect from a hockey rink facility. I am considering their free adult beginner's clinic (Monday nights), and joining their league. I was reluctant to play since I'm a tiny Asian girl, but Terry (VP of Rollin' Ice) told me himself that it's nothing! Speaking of Terry, the Pecham (excuse me if I'm missing a letter or two) family are great and always around making sure the rink is running smoothly. High Five has finally opened and I'm glad it's there. It's the perfect to have something to eat while you watch the games. Although, I wished their huge menu on the wall had more details on their sandwiches. I hate looking at their small menu, trying to read the details and making a quick decision while I'm right at the register. read more
