I've been coming here since I was a child and it's always fun to come back for a little nostalgia and play. Along with the mini golf, they also have water slides, a fairly large arcade, and a snack bar. It's been many many years since I've had food here, but I did always love getting a slurpee when I was younger. There are two 18-hole courses, golfing one costs $18, but you can add the second or replay the same one on the same day for just $6 extra. We had planned on doing just one round on our most recent visit, but it wasn't too crowded and went by pretty quickly, so we ended up playing the other side too. I'm partial to the course that's closer to Blossom Hill road because it's a little more difficult with the water trap holes, but both sides are fun! read more

Came here for the water slides . Nowhere on the website , nor while purchasing the ticket do they tell you that one slide isnt working . They charge full price - and then lie to you . When I went to talk to them , the girl insisted she was the manager and there was no one higher I could call . I insisted on submitting a formal complaint , and she refused to even write it down . Said I just need to go to corporate . She had the audacity to even say that " just buy purchasing a water slide ticket it doesn't mean all the water slides need to be on ". Seriously ? There are 3 slides . If 2 are off am I still paying $30?? Unbelievable. I understand if the business if giving high schoolers/ college students an opportunity to work - but this is scammy business . I have loved Golfland for years. We booked online and drove 1 1/2 hours for my son's birthday along with 3 other guests. We arrived without warning to all of the water rides and Splash Pad down and no explanation as to why. I felt sorry for the workers because multiple families were equally upset and they said they didn't know what was going on or why there were no signs or no warnings given to anyone. Another party was furious because they had called an hour prior and were told the slides were up and running, only to arrive and find out the opposite. The place was a mess, we tried the arcade and the card machines weren't working either. I have a very disappointed little boy and friends who drove to have a fun day and being that our all day passes started at 12:00 it was a wasted day to try and come up with an alternative birthday surprise. Been going here since I was in elementary school. I'm glad it's still around. This Golfland has two 18 hole courses: one is more visually fun and somewhat easier; the other one is full tryhard and has a lot of fun, challenging holes. If you want to do both mini golf courses, just buy one round of mini golf, write your scores on the paper, and skip hole 18 until you get to the very end of the second course. It'll save you $5. Overall the 18 hole course was fun for myself, my wife, and my 5 year old daughter. The vibe is chill and on the night we went, the other families were patient and nice as we tend to take longer since my daughter was still learning how to putt. The pricing is reasonable and it seems best to go during the weekday (eg. Wednesday) to get the cheapest rate. I would take the family back and check out the other 18 hole course (there are 2 18 joe courses side by side). read more

Fun outing for my son and I. We did the all day pass, which came out around $75 for both of us for a weekday bought online. The water slides were a highlight and perfect for little kids 5-10 or so. But fun for me too! Both golf courses were fun and imaginative. The free splash pad is a nice plus. I don't love the entrance going right into an arcade that you have to walk through. When we tried to get lunch a bunch of options were out of stock. One of the windmills didn't release our balls and we had to go get new ones. I had to get a locker for my purse during water slides which costs $20 (wow) and they give you 10 back in cash when you return the key. Minor inconveniences that didn't detract too much from a fun time. Will come back sometime! read more

My boyfriend and I visited Golfland on Sunday, 11/05/23, in the evening time. We decided to do miniature golf during our visit. We participated in both 18-hole courses, which allowed us to play a total of 36 rounds. Overall, it was a fun experience and we truly had a blast. Some holes were more challenging than others, but still very enjoyable. I even liked how the Halloween decorations were still up at the beginning of November. I have been coming here Since I was a kid. Super fast Water slides where you could fly out the mouth of a dragon, mini-golf, Nachos, Icees, and all the fun a kid could have! My grandma lived across the street so you know we had to go! I recently went back after years with my girlfriend on a early Sunday evening to play video games, eat candy from the candy Kramer game, and get Icees! We found it useful and funny that now it's all digital, you could choose you're own colored golf ball (whaaaa!) and we had a blast of an arcade date! Place has a lot of potential as it offers a lot, but it also offers a nice lesson in chaos. This place is a mess. Trying to have a nice game of mini golf with my daughter and wife, but people were jumping through the holes like nothing mattered. Some kids just showed up in front of us and WWIII almost happened. No real structure to this place. Just be prepared to have to lay the law down. Still, it's a cool spot for the kids to enjoy as long as you have a decent amount of patience. I took my 3 older grandchildren here for their first minigolf. We played the left side through the end. It was a very hot but fun day. Plenty of shade structures to rest. The video games strategically placed at the entrance & exit. The restrooms, clean and well stocked in that area as well. A must do!!! read more

First time here with my 12 year old and her friend. The first thing you notice is how old the place is. 60s? Hasn't been updated or remodeled. The kids were nice working there and they should just give you the golf balls to start. The ball machine is antiquated and silly. It worked for us but not for the family before us. We enjoyed golfing until one of the balls was "eaten" by the windmill hole. I had to go ask for another ball. Afterward we got pizza which was fine. The girls enjoyed the arcade afterward, and got some prizes. Overall it's a reasonably priced and fun place but I hope it will be modernized. Needs a facelift and I think it would bring in a lot more revenue. Wasn't busy at all for a Tuesday in summer. read more

Took my little guy to play mini golf today. Which was good. No complaints. It could use a little touch up paint but over all it's nostalgic. The arcade different story. The claw machine kept eating our points and the staff was kind enough to refill them. The other games are run down or cost an extreme amount of points to play a short time. If you're going to overcharge people for golf, you should at least let them finish their game. We came 2 hours before they closed, got stuck behind two large groups of people, and had the lights shut off on us before we could finish. We tried ordering a drink at the snack bar and were told they had already shut the machines off. Since we couldn't finish our game, we went to the Win A Free Game hole and actually won, we thought "well if we couldn't finish our game at least we won a free round for next time". When we went to claim it, an employee went to grab who I'm guessing was the manager. She came back and didn't say anything to us just started grabbing our putters. I visited Golfland recently after many years of not going there and had a pretty great experience. We played some arcade games which was very fun as they have a decent sized arcade with a good variety of things to choose from. Later in the evening, we played a round of mini golf which was super fun, especially with little kids. Super fun for adults too! The customer service wasn't the best and the staff was not friendly or helpful but other than that, a great experience and I will definitely be back. read more

You can never go wrong with miniature golf! My family and I have been here a couple of times by ourselves and also got invited to a birthday party. The experience was great, we had a great time both times. Don't expect much from the place as far as ambiance, it's classic/nostalgic and have not been properly modernized/maintained. I think for the amount of money you spend on each child to use the waterslide, the guards can be a little more attentive to the kids who are utilizing them. Yesterday we took our kids, paid $30 dollars a kid...... So that was a total of $240. Just when we were about to leave my daughter smacks her face on the slide, literally her last slide down. And I noticed but I'm sitting on the grass so by the time I get up to walk down there to see if she's okay because she is holding her eyes struggling to get to the end of the pool, the guard is yelling at her..... (Get out of the pool). By the time I get down there there is another little girl who is in distress crying also saying she's hurt the guard is also yelling at her telling her to get out of the pool. I turn around and tell the guard she's hurt can you not yell at her, his response was ma'am she needs to get out of the pool. I tell him I understand that but my daughter whacked her face on the slide and you're yelling at her this little girl is also hurt and you're yelling at her as well. Employee lifeguard just being an asshole. Golfland should really retrain their lifeguards to do their job correctly! Clearly my daughter and the girl behind her were in distress from hurting themselves but these lifeguards did not give a fuck! read more

I'm so sad to give Golfland three stars. This place has been a staple in our neighborhood for literally decades. I love that this is a family friendly place. However, I was shocked at the state of the courses - so much garbage!!! Are staff not cleaning up in between shifts? There are golf balls - everywhere... tossed over the fence.... In the fenced in areas of the water slides... in the water.... Please - can we clean this place up? Take some pride in where you work. read more

THIS PLACE WAS NOT A LETDOWN!! YAYAY, I finally got to go here for the first time ever even though I've passed by this place a million times. It's a super fun date idea and the experience is 100% better when you keep score with the paper and pencil they give you. When I went in, I was confused because all I saw was an arcade and no door to the golf course. We went in the back where the food stand was and the doors were there to the outside golf course. Once I was outside, there was a window and everyone was waiting in line, so we did too. I downloaded their golfland app which made everything easier because all they had to do was scan my phone for all the tickets. Once they did, they gave me my arcade cards but I didn't want to golf yet, so they gave me a receipt. Once I wanted to golf, I came back and showed them my receipt and they gave me all the equipment! We finished the right side of the golf course which was super cute, fun, and didn't take long at all with 2 people including me playing. At the last hole, it eats your ball so you don't have to return it which was cool. At the window all I had to do was return my golf club. The arcade was cute and small, but had your fun average arcade games. You just have to swipe your card and once you racked up enough tickets on ur card you could go trade them in for some tOYSS. Do not come to this golfland. Go to the one in Milpitas instead. Showed up to this one and tried to use the kiosk to recharge the game card. It would not accept my card due to a connection issue. The employees are just staring at me looking at an error screen without saying anything. Went outside to pay for mini golfing and the employee said the internet is down and to wait 5 minutes. 5 minutes turned into 30 minutes of waiting. No luck so we left to the mall to kill time. Tried calling to see if the internet is back up to play but the phone tree literally brings you anywhere except to ask an employee a simple question. Nice. What a waste of gas. read more

The roommate and his brother decided to take the nephews out for mini golf. Since I was down in SJ, I tagged along. The five of us got here on Sunday, May 12th around 4:15pm. Since it was cheaper, we bought tickets online. We were gonna take the kids to the arcade section after, so we got a package with arcade credits. The nephews are 5 and 3 years old, so a little young for mini golf. They didn't quite know how to execute the concept, so we took a bit at each hole. Luckily, there were a lot of families here, so everyone was understanding. Us adults tried to actually play a round, but we ended up just going with the flow as we didn't want to take too much time at each hole. For equipment, they were running short, so I ended up using a child putter. A little hard to use, but oh well. We were here for the kids anyways. The arcade was a little more fun. The kids just picked random games to play such as Space Invaders, etc. I believe we had two arcade cards with 200 credits each. It lasted us quite some time as we were at golfland for a good 3ish hours total. Fun place to take the kids. Even though they were a little young for mini golf, they had a good time. As an adult wanting to mini golf, I'd probably go on a weeknight when there are fewer children. I'd rather actually mini golf if I was here sans kids. read more

Did a birthday party at golfland over the weekend. My expectations were low but they managed to go lower and i wanted to pass this on. The food was terrible and they do not let you bring food from home. the place is run by teenagers who do not care about making the experience pleasant. the pizza they ordered from round table (and upcharge people) was forgotten about and the kids were hungry waiting for pizza only to find out they forgot about the order. so we got more disgusting food from the golfland cafeteria. the birthday cake I brought and had them put in the fridge clearly had something put on top of it and was smashed into the box upon opening it. they charged me 700$ for this catastrophe. read more

Nostalgia at its core = Golfland, & I love it. This is the same location I would come to as a child & it's impressive that almost nothing has changed. It is still in prime condition. Golfland is great for families, teens on dates, packs of friends, middles aged adults on dates, feral children, really everyone. The only thing is, you must semi - enjoy golf & probably walking. The side closest to the street has the 'better holes,' with lights and animatronics. The opposite side where the water slides are is quieter and a bit less attractive (better for children who are sensitive to sound). Both sides have 17 holes and share the 18th. To purchase tickets, it can be done online on the website or in person, both are simple and easy. There is an arcade inside with a snack bar. The arcade is fun! The coin machines take card and all the arcade machines take game coins. Everything felt safe and we will totally return before the weather turns! read more

Sad to give this place two stars. This place has been a staple in our community for decades. Staff was not friendly this time around. No one wanted to help when the ball would get stuck in the holes. The food here is a disappointment. You would think what can go wrong with simple finger foods. We ordered a whole cheese pizza and some chicken tenders and fries. The damn pizza had no cheese all the kids wanted was cheese pizza. Our bill came out to $97 dollars for some food that just got tossed. The damn fries were hard. We asked the employees how come there is no cheese. The guy behind the counter goes the oven eats it and there is nothing we can do about that. We went pre-June 15 opening. We bought our tickets online. The process to entering, redeeming tickets and getting the mini-golf equipment was swift and hassle-free. The water park was not open yet, but lifeguards were on-site doing training. There were a couple of bigger parties, celebrating birthdays and they were able to order pizza and drinks. Everyone was being socially safe. Great spot, and clean outside. We did not go inside or look to see if the arcade was open. We will be back though. read more

#covid19 update: two stars says "could've been better" and that's accurate for this visit. They're open now for mini golf, and you need to make a reservation online before you head over there. It cost $35 for a Friday afternoon mini golf for two adults and one kid. I didn't feel like they were limiting the number of people though - only one person makes a reservation and you never state how many people, so they can't really do crowd control properly. When we arrived on Friday afternoon, there were a few families and couples ahead of us on the course, but shortly after we arrived, several large groups of teenagers arrived and we all got jammed up on the course pretty quickly. There were NO employees around to help keep things under control. Despite the signage about masks being required, we saw 90% of people not wearing a mask. One woman brought her kids to just run around the mini golf courses, disrupting several other groups trying to play through. Her kids were climbing all over the structures and just running wild. Also, we saw several people with cans of beer, though there was signage about no outside drinks allowed and also no alcohol allowed. The mini golf itself was fine. My kiddo had a good time, though he was really disappointed that the arcade games were closed up. I was really frustrated that there was zero staff around to help keep policies enforced. After about the fourth hole, things ground to a halt with a big (unmasked) family party a few holes ahead of us that took a very long time at each hole, which caused us to have to wait at every single hole to be able to play on. The people behind us (unmasked) even played right on into our hole while we were still on it at one point! (it was one of those holes where the ball comes out down a hill from where you start, so they clearly didn't see that we were still playing on it). Ugh. They really need to limit the number of reservations allowed to help keep the social distancing possible! To be clear, we only saw one employee the entire visit - the guy behind the counter where you paid and got your mini golf equipment. No one at all to keep an eye on the golf courses and help keep things safe and socially distanced. read more
