The second time they came out quickly for a toilet that kept running. They charged $120 to replace a flapper. They recommended we replace both toilets. Six months later, the toilets have adjusted to their new flappers (I installed the second one on my own), and replacing the toilets would have been an unnecessary expense. We had a plumbing problem occur at 1AM on Sunday night. I was dreading calling up a plumber on a Sunday - expecting a Sunday service call to carry a huge premium. I called up the Plumbing Doc at about 8:30AM Sunday morning, and actually spoke to a real, live person - not an answering service or recording. He told me someone would be out within the hour. Savannah showed up very quickly and she got to work. Not only did she fix the problem, but she did some other plumbing work to our house that was needed. She was so very kind and professional, and did excellent work. I was worried with all the extra work and about 2.5 hours work time, the bill would be enormous. My washer drain pipe started back flowing. I knew I wouldn't be able to fix it so I got on Yelp and looked for a plumber. I came across the Plumbing Doc. After the Plumbing Doctor completed the work to install a new faucet, they had connected the hot and cold water lines backwards, and forgot to re-connect the dishwasher water line. No response to phone calls to finish the work even a week later. Initial plumber dispatched named Isaac who was sent to replace valve in garage that the washer/dryer are hooked up to and to fix gasket in bath tub, but in the process of doing the repair he broke the valve on the bathtub, then had the audacity to attempt to charge me for the part and the labor. I told him I would only pay for original quote plus the part which I could have fought the company to pay for it. Once my tenant came home and checked what was suppose to b repaired, he advised me that the repairs were incomplete. I called the office and spoke with a very nice lady that answered, explained the issues that I was left with and she assured me that she could send another plumber out the following morning. Plumber sent was Brad, he understood what needed to be done and corrected the problems accordingly, was very friendly and understanding of the situation. I'm please that the job was completed and I plan to do more business with them in the near future. It's not just the mistakes that were made but how it was handled after the fact. read more

What can I say, I was having a bad morning and noticed the shower and toilet were clogged. I decided to look on Yelp before going with my dad's recommendation and found the Plumbing Doc. I called early in the morning(roughly 645) and was told they opened at 8, I got a call back not even 5 minutes after letting me know they are. 24 hour service if I need immediate attention, I told the gentleman no thank you I can wait till 8 and he put me on schedule. He told me it would be about $107 to snake out the line and I agreed. A guy came shorty after 8 and couldn't do the job because he had to go through the roof, now here's my only bad comment he had to bring another guy because he didn't have a ladder so it was an additional $65 which had me a little concerned you'd imagine a guy would have a ladder on his service truck. Anyways 4 days later on a Saturday I noticed the side of my house was flooded with a ton of stuff I don't want to mention, I called and spoke to Rick the owner and told him my situation and he sent a guy out named Phillip at no charge even though my invoice said no warranty. Phillip took care of the issue and answered all my dumb questions when he was trying to work. It's guys like Rick who do the right thing that makes me know who to call whenever I have any type of plumbing issue! read more
