We've had plumbing problems for over 15 years that no one could properly diagnose, but Rick and his crew tracked it down. They opened up the ceiling, rerouted pipes, cleared clogs, and replaced sections that were rusted and corroded. For the first time in over a decade, everything works exactly as it should. The leak had caused significant water damage, so we had to bring in a restoration company. We were leaving town the very next day, but Rick completely handled the situation. We have known Rick at Plumbing 2 over a few years. He and his associates repaired our kitchen counter-top and a food disposer. When he noticed green mold above the dishwasher area beneath the old tiles, he immediately warned us all about safety, covered the floor with cardboard to let workers walk through without spreading all over the house. His team installed the plywood required for installing the granite or quartz counter-top. They also installed the new InSinkerator Badge food disposer under the kitchen sink. All happened a few years ago. On April 19, 2026, we called Rick again around 6:30 PM for help with an emergency water leak from a broken pipe-fitting connecting the fridge on a Sunday evening. Earlier that evening when we tried to replace the 1/4-inch water line, we had to undo the compression nut on a half-inch water line through the wall. The compression nut was removed but it wouldn't tighten and bite the half-inch tubing. Therefore the water leak. A lot of water leaked, flooding the kitchen. We had to shut off water to the house. We called several plumbing folks for help on a Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. To our surprise, Rick answered promptly, came over, checked the situation, said he would would install a valve and the required fittings to stop the water leak. After the new valve in place, water leak stopped. We restored water supply to the house. Before leaving, he showed us the type of angle valve we should get in order to replace the temporary valve. We did it the way he suggested. We are back to normal routine. We appreciated Rick's dedication to his work, customer care, and awareness of safety issues. Rick definitely responded quickly around Saturday early afternoon. This was not an emergency call, it was to continue some plumbing related to hot and cold supply lines for our soon-to-be-installed freestanding bathtub. If you need emergency service, this might be a good choice for rapid response. I wanted soldered connections, but Rick explained they don't use that method. They use pro-press fittings. Rick without a doubt is the most honest, fair, and reliable plumber I have encountered. I hired Rick for a toilet overflow at my home that I shared with my family. When I called he was there within 15 min. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I hired him for a job at my investment property. Seriously could not ask for a better experience!!! This guy is hands down one of the most reliable and quick responding people I have encountered in a long time. We had a clog somewhere in our drain line from the washer. He was able to come out the same day and work on the problem. He used a smaller snake and it seemed to work. But then realized the back up was still happening and used a longer snake. My washer now drains well again without poring out water all over my garage (really annoying to clean up). However, he also took the time to just check what was up under the pipes and went I got he crawl space and checked all my pipes. Come to find out there are areas where the drain pipes are cracked and water is leaking out every time we run the water . He took video and photos and sent them all to me. However, when it comes to major issues requiring comprehensive visions, planning and structural thoughts, I do not think Rick is particularly good.
