Loved this place! Super cute for all ages!! Brought my friend here for her birthday and she loved it.

Such a cute and relaxing activity! I brought my friend for her birthday. I was expecting it to be mostly children but there we were at a table with other adults, which was nice.

Have you ever wanted to make your own custom plushie? Well the Plushie Workshop has officially landed in NYC and you don't want to miss out! I made a reservation for my friend and I to come make our own plushie friend. We made a gray kitty and a beige bunny! This class was so easy and fun anyone can do it and come out with a cute friend. Taegan and Jasmine were the instructors and they were so nice + helpful. I definitly will come back with my bf and make another one. The Plushie Workshop is the spot for a fun activity with friends or even if you're by yourself.

Such a fun experience. It takes 2 hours and you start off by creating the outer doll, stuffing and sewing it all together. A fun unique experience and perfect for teens and date night

First time at The Plushie Workshop and it was such a great experience! Staff were super friendly and helpful in making our plushies come to life! Couldn't be more happier with how my plushie turned out! Will definitely be coming back to make more!

I had an amazing time. It was cool to make our own plushie as opposed to buying one. Meet Pineapple the Duck.

Bunny and unicorn cheers!

The two hour workshop is so cute! My daughter (7) and I each made a plushie and Aria and Jasmine were so helpful and patient. Both our plushies came out adorable and we had a great time!

Super cute workshop and also such a great way to bond with other people! The workers here are extremely helpful and patient with us.highly recommend this as a date activity :)

It was such a cute bonding experience for my boyfriend and I! The staff was so nice and helped us every step of the way. The plushie turned out soooo cute!!

Did a double date here and it was such a win! The plushie workshop is fun, super easy to follow, and honestly kind of therapeutic. The owners are also amazing - so kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone has a great time. Perfect mix of creative and memorable. Highly recommend for a cute date or event activity.

Most of the instructors were wonderful, offering guidance when I asked and space when I needed it. It is very reasonably priced and remains a true NYC institution. The only instructor I would caution against is Pat Lipsky. I found her conceited and negative, even spiteful at times. If your aesthetics do not align with Immanuel Kant or Clement Greenberg, you may not feel welcome in her class. After she asked me to help set up her studio for a visiting curator, I left the class. From that point on, she refused to acknowledge me when we crossed paths. Still, the overall experience was deeply meaningful. I am grateful for the time I spent here and the ways it shaped my work and friendships.

Passed by this on my way from Columbus circle, and I plan on coming back to try an art class. They have evening and part time schedule of classes, from figure drawing, sculpting, painting, illustration, so there are a lot of options to choose from. Nice historical looking building from the outside.

The ball group taught me the acting is just doing and not acting. I would recommend for everyone that is beginner that doesn't know where to start to go to the barrow group. I did the online classes because I did not live in New York, but I'm pretty sure whether you're online or in person you'll have an amazing experience and will continue to take classes from the Borrow group! Lol I will be back whenever their beginners part two online classes is available!

Kate Neuman was an angel, and someone who really got into the details of each scene. She used props and scene settings very astutely, making sure that all of our scenes were in context, rather than just dictated to the audience in a forced manner. My only caveat has to do with the introduction and physical coordination exercises in the beginning. They were so attention-grabbing and helpful that I wished that the rest of the class had more of the physical education commitment (rather than just scene study).

What is amazing about this place is that our instructor Maryanne was so thorough. She didnt just give us a 10 min summary and ask us to go off and do our thing., Rather she guided us step by step - and with each step she spoke in detail about that particular step. At the end of the class i felt like i had learnt something, and wanted to pursue this more. I would definitely recommend this place!

Unfortunately the class with the wheel was sold out but we did the clay hand building and it was awesome. You basically get two hours to design your own mug from scratch. The instructor was so nice and sweet and was around to help/answer any questions during this time. Working with the clay wasn't as difficult or messy as I thought it would be and I think we actually got the hang of it pretty fast. At the end of the class you can choose to buy the mug you made for $15 or not. If you choose the former, they will contact you in a month to go pick it up given that they have to dry, fire, and glaze the piece. I think the class its BYOB because one of the couples had a bottle of wine, wish we had known! Overall, I loved it. It makes for a great date and even a fun group outing. I cannot wait to go back and try the wheel workshop soon!
