Seafood Stew and Chicken Feet.
Liselle B.

This place is quite the drive from the heart of the city, but luckily I was able to catch a ride with some friends. I like that they have private rooms that you can eat family-style with your own group of folks. We ordered soju, beer, and so many delicious dishes to eat including the Seafood Udon, Seafood Stew, and Chicken Feet. Everything was packed with flavor and the Chicken Feet definitely brought the heat which I loved! They also have private karaoke rooms in the back so after dinner we continued the fun with a sing-off. Minus one star because the overall friendliness of the staff could be a bit warmer, but I would go back based on how good the food was alone.

Bibimyeon with Pork Belly

Hanshin Pocha is a vibrant late night Korean eatery that has karaoke! This is a pretty well established place for both young and old people. There is a decent amount of seating and private rooms for larger parties. The vibe is usually loud, but that is to be expected. Service can be a bit slow at times but there is a buzzer at your table that you can press to get their attention. We got the Rolled Egg Omelets with Cheese, Hot Chicken Wings, and Bibimyeon with Pork Belly. The Rolled Egg Omelets with Cheese tasted just like the name... very eggy and cheesy! It also came with ranch and ketchup. I do not usually dip my eggs in ranch or ketchup, but the ranch with the eggs tasted good. This dish was fine, but plain. I would have preferred if there was some extra spice in the omelet... maybe garlic? The Hot Chicken Wings were okay. They were spicy and tasted strongly of cracked black pepper. My boyfriend thought the Bibimyeon with Pork Belly was average. Apparently, the noodles they used (ramen noodles?) are not the typical noodles used for the dish (I believe it is wheat noodles), so my boyfriend was expecting the dish to taste a certain way. I have also been here with large groups for karaoke! There are a lot of songs to choose from and a private bathroom in the karaoke room. If I recall, some of the buttons to pick the songs are in Korean? So that might be difficult to navigate for people who do not know the language. But karaoke is usually a fun time and they have lots of drinks available (soju, beer, etc.). Overall, I think Hanshin Pocha is a fun place to go to especially for young people who want to have fun in Metro Atlanta. The food and drinks are definitely expensive, but I guess they are meant to be shared in a large group setting more or less.

The interior is super nice and chill. The music is also really good, a mix of r&b & kpop. Service is great, just need to press a button and they come to you quick. Food was really good and exceed my expectations. I went with my bf on a Sunday night and we ordered the fried chicken (plain) and seafood spicy rice cakes. The chicken batter was very light and crispy. They serve it with salt on the side with radish and cabbage salad. The seafood rice cakes were spicy and very flavorful. We also ordered some soju & kloud. Would like to come again specifically for their fried chicken! So good!

I love hanshin. 50% off food for a table of all ladies every Wednesday. Depending on the day I've had good and quick service, others slow and understaffed. But the food is worth the wait. Everything is portion to share. They also have karaoke here which is nice. The bossam is a must order when I go.

Food This place offers a wide range of Korean food. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I always order the seasoned fried chicken and broth chicken feet. My girl likes to try different dishes so I've also tried the bossam and the stir fry spicy seafood w/ udon. The seasoned fried chicken is different portions of the chicken and has pieces of rice cakes. I wish it was spicier but they do not offer that. The broth chicken is spicy and flavorful. Bossam is basically a DIY boiled pork lettuce wrap with a few toppings. It's simple but tasty. My girl's only compliant is how they don't give you enough lettuce. The stir fry spicy seafood with udon has a lot of protein. There was a bunch of seafood and pork (surprisingly). It was good but I would not get it again. Service This is one of those places where you have to push a button for service. It's convenient when looking at the menu and not having the server hover over you and surely convenient for the workers as well. There were times a bunch of people rang and I think some tables get forgotten in these situations. Whenever you did call for them, they are usually prompt. Ambiance It is a very casual place. Bunch of noise and conversations. There is karaoke here so it could be loud but that is part of the environment and what makes it fun being here. Giant TV and everyone enjoying good food and potentially a drink. It's a good place to come late and eat and drink at.

Always delicious! I stopped by late at night, around 1am and it was great! We got seated pretty quickly and the food did not take that long to come out either. The service is consistent and the food is perfect with soju. The best spot for late night eats and drinking with friends!!

Came here with my friends because this place is open late! We ordered the beef with bean sprout stir fry, sweet and sour pork, and spicy squid soup. We also got three highballs to try. The spicy squid soup had lots of vegetables and squid but the soup was definitely lacking in flavor. It wasn't smoky, spicy but just salty. The beef dish had lots of bean sprout but it didn't really impress me to be honest. I also thought this dish was lacking in flavor. The sweet and sour pork was pretty good I would, but not as crispy as I thought it would be. The drinks were pretty decent but I suggest drinking it fast before the ice cream melts, if not it will be thick and sweet. Kinda like drinking a syrup. Presentation wise though was pretty cool. This is not a typical service sit down type of place, they never come to your table until you press the button. And even when you do press the button, they don't really come. We had to flag someone down but it was hard to do since we were in the corner rooms. Not sure why but they charged us 20% gratuity for three people and not a typical service style restaurant. I thought that was a weird concept.

Steamed pork slices with bean sprouts & Spicy vegetable Soup

I visit Hanshin Pocha quite often and always enjoy the food there everything is super flavorful and comes in large portions main it great to share and still have leftovers. The service is really good and I love the staff who work here! It's a great place for late nights after hanging out or being the highlight of a night out! I highly recommend the steamed pork slices with bean sprouts!

A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean pocha food and a lively atmosphere, the big karaoke party rooms are perfect for a fun night out with friends. My favorite dishes are the spicy chicken feet paired with bean sprout soup and rice balls, plus the bossam, sweet & sour pork, seafood udon, and crispy Korean fried chicken. If you're looking for delicious comfort food, great soju, and a great time with friends, this place is highly recommended!

No pictures of the food because we ate it too fast . We got ramen, tteokbokki, & their special for the day (bulgogi + dakgangjeong for $35). Very good! Service was quick and we got sat quickly. We even ordered food after the kitchen closed and our server still got it made for us!!

Love this place!!! (But hate that the menu doesn't include prices) The service was great and quick, loved that that they gave us some eggs and a kimchi pancake as part of service. And the carrots were so yummy too. We also got the jumeokbap, which was probably my favorite of what we ordered. The one order was enough for everyone in our party of 5 to get at least one decent sized riceball and it was seasoned perfectly. The corn cheese, literally a classic, can't really mess that up, but I will say it was on the less sweet side. And the fries were so so good. I especially recommend this if you're coming with a big group because its literally a huge bowl of hot, fresh crispy fries along with a huge dish of ketchup.

I've been coming to Han Shin for a few years now but have yet to leave a review. Me and my girlfriend friends usually come on Wednesdays for their ladies night special. It's been a while since we last came and I must say the rush has calmed down a lot! Tonight was not as crazy packed as it used to be over a year ago. Not much has changed besides you are not allowed to smoke inside anymore. Thank God! I used to hate coming here and walking out smelling like cigarettes. This is a great place to have dinner, drinks and if you like to sing they have private karaoke room. Great atmosphere and chilled place to hang out and catch up with friends... As for the food, I can probably say I have tried everything on their menu. For the most part, I enjoy all of the food here. The portions are HUGE, so make you bring a few friends to help finish everything! They do not allow you to take the food to go on ladies night due to the fact that you're getting 50% off. Blahhhh but whatever!! All of my friends loves the clam soup but I find it to be my least favorite. My favorite dish would be the brisket and chicken feet.. Heads up if you don't eat spicy than the chicken feet dish is not for you!! It's so spicy that it will have your nose running. Service here is really a hit or miss. Someday i come and the service is awesome and some time it's horrible! It's funny because most restaurants food are hit or miss but I must say their food is pretty consistent. If you're the area and looking for spot to hang out. Check this place out!

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

I was absolutely obsessed with the smell of this restaurant before I even went in! I appreciated them, giving us two grills, and the staff actually cook the meat for you. I wish I was sitting more towards the left grill because whoever cooked the pork belly on that side made sure the flame was hot enough and it cooked the pork thoroughly while also making it crispy on the outside. In front of me, the griller did not make the heat high enough so it took a while for the pork to be fully cooked. She told us it was done and it was still kind of chewy so I kept swapping back-and-forth from the left grill onto this one. That's the only reason why I gave it a four instead of a five out of five was because I did not like the way they cooked part of our pork. It was so chewy the fat was not cooked at all, but it was an easy fix. I just had to cook it longer on the other grill but again we shared two grills between eight people so 1/2 of our group got to eat more than us. I like how the pork doesn't have a really strong, pork smell, and it tasted very good like it was seasoned properly. I absolutely love the kimchi! I love how this restaurant stays open pretty late so we can enjoy eating and drinking. It's such a nice casual place to hang out. For dessert, we had kimchi fried rice haha. It was such a great night!

Let's just say it was a LOT of food, but we also had soju/beer (somek) which also was enjoyed tremendously. You cannot go wrong here. They have combo meals; which are of excellent quality, or you can go with AYCE- still pretty good quality but you'll not get the marinated beef ribs in that way. This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
