Seafood Stew and Chicken Feet.
Liselle B.

This place is quite the drive from the heart of the city, but luckily I was able to catch a ride with some friends. I like that they have private rooms that you can eat family-style with your own group of folks. We ordered soju, beer, and so many delicious dishes to eat including the Seafood Udon, Seafood Stew, and Chicken Feet. Everything was packed with flavor and the Chicken Feet definitely brought the heat which I loved! They also have private karaoke rooms in the back so after dinner we continued the fun with a sing-off. Minus one star because the overall friendliness of the staff could be a bit warmer, but I would go back based on how good the food was alone.

Hanshin Pocha is a vibrant late night Korean eatery that has karaoke! This is a pretty well established place for both young and old people. There is a decent amount of seating and private rooms for larger parties. The vibe is usually loud, but that is to be expected. Service can be a bit slow at times but there is a buzzer at your table that you can press to get their attention. We got the Rolled Egg Omelets with Cheese, Hot Chicken Wings, and Bibimyeon with Pork Belly. The Rolled Egg Omelets with Cheese tasted just like the name... very eggy and cheesy! It also came with ranch and ketchup. I do not usually dip my eggs in ranch or ketchup, but the ranch with the eggs tasted good. This dish was fine, but plain. I would have preferred if there was some extra spice in the omelet... maybe garlic? The Hot Chicken Wings were okay. They were spicy and tasted strongly of cracked black pepper. My boyfriend thought the Bibimyeon with Pork Belly was average. Apparently, the noodles they used (ramen noodles?) are not the typical noodles used for the dish (I believe it is wheat noodles), so my boyfriend was expecting the dish to taste a certain way. I have also been here with large groups for karaoke! There are a lot of songs to choose from and a private bathroom in the karaoke room. If I recall, some of the buttons to pick the songs are in Korean? So that might be difficult to navigate for people who do not know the language. But karaoke is usually a fun time and they have lots of drinks available (soju, beer, etc.). Overall, I think Hanshin Pocha is a fun place to go to especially for young people who want to have fun in Metro Atlanta. The food and drinks are definitely expensive, but I guess they are meant to be shared in a large group setting more or less.

The interior is super nice and chill. The music is also really good, a mix of r&b & kpop. Service is great, just need to press a button and they come to you quick. Food was really good and exceed my expectations. I went with my bf on a Sunday night and we ordered the fried chicken (plain) and seafood spicy rice cakes. The chicken batter was very light and crispy. They serve it with salt on the side with radish and cabbage salad. The seafood rice cakes were spicy and very flavorful. We also ordered some soju & kloud. Would like to come again specifically for their fried chicken! So good!

I love hanshin. 50% off food for a table of all ladies every Wednesday. Depending on the day I've had good and quick service, others slow and understaffed. But the food is worth the wait. Everything is portion to share. They also have karaoke here which is nice. The bossam is a must order when I go.

Food This place offers a wide range of Korean food. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I always order the seasoned fried chicken and broth chicken feet. My girl likes to try different dishes so I've also tried the bossam and the stir fry spicy seafood w/ udon. The seasoned fried chicken is different portions of the chicken and has pieces of rice cakes. I wish it was spicier but they do not offer that. The broth chicken is spicy and flavorful. Bossam is basically a DIY boiled pork lettuce wrap with a few toppings. It's simple but tasty. My girl's only compliant is how they don't give you enough lettuce. The stir fry spicy seafood with udon has a lot of protein. There was a bunch of seafood and pork (surprisingly). It was good but I would not get it again. Service This is one of those places where you have to push a button for service. It's convenient when looking at the menu and not having the server hover over you and surely convenient for the workers as well. There were times a bunch of people rang and I think some tables get forgotten in these situations. Whenever you did call for them, they are usually prompt. Ambiance It is a very casual place. Bunch of noise and conversations. There is karaoke here so it could be loud but that is part of the environment and what makes it fun being here. Giant TV and everyone enjoying good food and potentially a drink. It's a good place to come late and eat and drink at.

Always delicious! I stopped by late at night, around 1am and it was great! We got seated pretty quickly and the food did not take that long to come out either. The service is consistent and the food is perfect with soju. The best spot for late night eats and drinking with friends!!

Came here with my friends because this place is open late! We ordered the beef with bean sprout stir fry, sweet and sour pork, and spicy squid soup. We also got three highballs to try. The spicy squid soup had lots of vegetables and squid but the soup was definitely lacking in flavor. It wasn't smoky, spicy but just salty. The beef dish had lots of bean sprout but it didn't really impress me to be honest. I also thought this dish was lacking in flavor. The sweet and sour pork was pretty good I would, but not as crispy as I thought it would be. The drinks were pretty decent but I suggest drinking it fast before the ice cream melts, if not it will be thick and sweet. Kinda like drinking a syrup. Presentation wise though was pretty cool. This is not a typical service sit down type of place, they never come to your table until you press the button. And even when you do press the button, they don't really come. We had to flag someone down but it was hard to do since we were in the corner rooms. Not sure why but they charged us 20% gratuity for three people and not a typical service style restaurant. I thought that was a weird concept.

Steamed pork slices with bean sprouts & Spicy vegetable Soup

I visit Hanshin Pocha quite often and always enjoy the food there everything is super flavorful and comes in large portions main it great to share and still have leftovers. The service is really good and I love the staff who work here! It's a great place for late nights after hanging out or being the highlight of a night out! I highly recommend the steamed pork slices with bean sprouts!

A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean pocha food and a lively atmosphere, the big karaoke party rooms are perfect for a fun night out with friends. My favorite dishes are the spicy chicken feet paired with bean sprout soup and rice balls, plus the bossam, sweet & sour pork, seafood udon, and crispy Korean fried chicken. If you're looking for delicious comfort food, great soju, and a great time with friends, this place is highly recommended!

No pictures of the food because we ate it too fast . We got ramen, tteokbokki, & their special for the day (bulgogi + dakgangjeong for $35). Very good! Service was quick and we got sat quickly. We even ordered food after the kitchen closed and our server still got it made for us!!

Love this place!!! (But hate that the menu doesn't include prices) The service was great and quick, loved that that they gave us some eggs and a kimchi pancake as part of service. And the carrots were so yummy too. We also got the jumeokbap, which was probably my favorite of what we ordered. The one order was enough for everyone in our party of 5 to get at least one decent sized riceball and it was seasoned perfectly. The corn cheese, literally a classic, can't really mess that up, but I will say it was on the less sweet side. And the fries were so so good. I especially recommend this if you're coming with a big group because its literally a huge bowl of hot, fresh crispy fries along with a huge dish of ketchup.

I've been coming to Han Shin for a few years now but have yet to leave a review. Me and my girlfriend friends usually come on Wednesdays for their ladies night special. It's been a while since we last came and I must say the rush has calmed down a lot! Tonight was not as crazy packed as it used to be over a year ago. Not much has changed besides you are not allowed to smoke inside anymore. Thank God! I used to hate coming here and walking out smelling like cigarettes. This is a great place to have dinner, drinks and if you like to sing they have private karaoke room. Great atmosphere and chilled place to hang out and catch up with friends... As for the food, I can probably say I have tried everything on their menu. For the most part, I enjoy all of the food here. The portions are HUGE, so make you bring a few friends to help finish everything! They do not allow you to take the food to go on ladies night due to the fact that you're getting 50% off. Blahhhh but whatever!! All of my friends loves the clam soup but I find it to be my least favorite. My favorite dish would be the brisket and chicken feet.. Heads up if you don't eat spicy than the chicken feet dish is not for you!! It's so spicy that it will have your nose running. Service here is really a hit or miss. Someday i come and the service is awesome and some time it's horrible! It's funny because most restaurants food are hit or miss but I must say their food is pretty consistent. If you're the area and looking for spot to hang out. Check this place out!

But this place seemed rather cheap for the fruit tray, x4 munchie food selections (duck feet, liver item of sorts (?), sunflower seed, and peanuts), and a dozen beer in a medium sized room. I guess you pay according to the room size and amenities? The lights and design of this place makes it super flashy and sort of trippy at times. See my pictures! Ooh. Forgot to mention the private bathroom was nice. Also, the ability to search for recent songs (recent as in still playing on major radio stations recent) and have the ability to see the original music videos were amazing. Now mind you not all songs were available nor were the original music videos. But I can't ever remember a time where I was wow'ed by the song selection and actually sing as much as I ever did. This new music spot is definitely fun and reasonably priced once you do the split with a bunch of folks. It's also a little different as it's Chinese owned whereas most other places are Korean.

Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same feel/vibe as it used to. I recently went just because I wanted to jam out to a few songs. We went around 8pm on a Tuesday and this place was dead. We were literally the only folks there. I mean it is a weekday but still I was surprised at how little people there were. That's not a big deal bc we get undisturbed karaoke time. We went into our rooms and I just felt like it was really worn down. The karaoke machine/remote was slow/laggy, the room had a weird smell and there was definitely no AC in the room. I think the AC was probably because there was no one else there. But I mean it does have the basics -- it has all the songs you need, it gives you a sense of privacy and most of all - their food is always on point. We didn't order food this time but there garlic wings are some of the best in the game. We did order a beer and the owner gave us some Chex Mix to munch on which was nice, but I just felt that the entire place could use a little love/renovation. Will I be back? Probably -- Assa Tech is still one of my preferred karaokes but it just didn't hit home like it used to.

My group made a reservation for a large party, and from the second we arrived, everything went downhill. The sound system was completely broken - no audio through the speakers, only the TV, and the mics barely functioned. The music was either in a foreign language or not working at all, so we ended up using YouTube just to karaoke... something we could have done for free at home instead of paying these people hundreds of dollars. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting, clearly not cleaned, and the entire building had a permanent foul smell. The room they put us in was tiny and cramped for a group of 30+, and honestly felt unsafe and unsanitary. The bar service? A joke. Two people working, moving extremely slow, and it took nearly ONE HOUR just to receive simple drinks and food. And then the prices? Outrageous. $8 for a basic Corona in a place that looks and smells like this is highway robbery. I STOOD at the bar waiting for 20 minutes just for MY drink because we were waiting for so long let alone being blatantly ignored as I repeated my order at least 5 times and I was the ONLY one standing at the bar. But the absolute worst part - and the reason this review is being written with this level of intensity - is the blatantly racist behavior from the owners. After our group spent well over $1,000 (not including the room rental), they turned around and told us to leave, making racially charged comments including "you people" and complaining that we "ordered too much chicken." The level of disrespect was unbelievable. Completely unacceptable and disgusting behavior from any business. This place is a scam, a health hazard, and run by people who clearly have no respect for their customers. I will NEVER return and strongly advise others to stay far away. Let's Go Karaoke is an overpriced, dirty, unprofessional, and outright offensive establishment that does not deserve to be operating.

I believe the cons outweighed the pros during our visit to Luxor, a unique noraebang (Korean…read morekaraoke establishment) in Duluth. Three stars is still okay, but I wouldn't consider myself a fan of this joint just yet. I called and made a reservation for 20 people on a Saturday night at 10pm. I was told over the phone that our group would get the biggest room in the house. When we arrived, on time, this was not the case. I think we got maybe the 2nd or 3rd largest room in the place. We got Room #6 which is a rectangular-shaped room with a long table running down the middle and an open, U-shaped couch lining three of the walls. This couch could seat 16 people max and we were all sitting rather snug. When all of our group was there, this meant that some people had to stand. Fail. It was already a bit uncomfortable for the 16 of us who were seated just to get up and move around, pass the mic and song book, order/grab drinks and food, etc. Due to our large group size, we were told there was a two-bottle minimum for the room. Bottles start at $100 per. We ordered Johnnie Walker ($100) and Grey Goose ($120). These two bottles got us 4 hours of karaoke. After tax and automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill, our total was about $300 for the room. For 20 people, this works out to only $15 per person, so it's actually a very good deal. (We were actually a few short of 20, so our per person total was higher.) Those two bottles weren't enough for our group, so we ordered an extra bottle (Crown Royal, $120). Someone in our group already paid for this bottle in advance, separately as soon as he ordered it. At the end, when it came time to pay the bill for the entire room, I was presented with a ticket with all 3 bottles on it. We almost got double-charged for the bottle of Crown! If we didn't question the staff about the extraneous line item, we would have paid an extra $120+ for nothing. After bringing this mistake to the staff's attention, they seemed apologetic. I just don't know for sure if it was an honest mistake or not. Apart from the small room size and billing discrepancy, some other things I did not like about Luxor were: (1) song selection access and (2) smoke. Actually, smoky environments don't bother me *that* much, but I thought it would be worth noting. Like Ai Tunes, Sound of Music, and other NRBs, Luxor has a restaurant/lounge/bar-type area outside the karaoke rooms where people can order food, drinks, and just hang out. It's smoky in this area, so be forewarned. I think Luxor actually has a good song selection, but accessing all these songs is a pain For example, I noticed they had Adele's Skyfall theme song in their database on the same weekend the Skyfall movie premiered. That's pretty impressive. Unfortunately, the song book only had a mere fraction of the songs that were actually in the system. Not only that, but there was only one remote for the entire room (and it was written in Korean) so it was bothersome to hand off the remote due to the aforementioned spacing issues, plus we had to keep asking our Korean friends to help operate the remote for us. All these issues aside, Luxor does have some great things going for it. While this place is super Korean and caters mainly to young Korean clientele, the staff are also young and Korean and thus, typically speak and understand English well. Everyone seemed friendly and attentive and service to our room was generally good. Each bottle of alcohol ordered came with regular glasses, shot glasses, mixers (Coca-Cola and cranberry juice), and platefuls of fruit and snacks. The fruit plate was beautifully presented and included pineapple, watermelon, grapes, oranges, kiwi, and strawberry. The snack plate had peanuts, seaweed, cuttlefish (win), banana chips, and a couple other extras. All of that was very nice and among the best snacks I've seen at any Atlanta-area KTV. The theme of this place is awesome. It's like you're singing karaoke in an Egyptian pyramid complete with wall carvings and hieroglyphics. Yes, it sounds bizarre and that's because it is. Outside the door of each the rooms are colored lights. They blink and light up when people are inside singing. Inside, the rooms have plenty of fun, colorful lighting from lasers to strobes to rotating, light-up disco balls. Our room had one big TV at one end and two smaller TVs in the corners of the opposite end. In general, the setup was nice -- we just had too many people for the room. The sound and video quality were good. One fellow Yelper described Luxor as it being "the Clermont of karaoke joints." I wouldn't go so far as to say that. The actual build-out is nice, but I did notice an exceptional number of drunk people here. There was vomit on the floors of both the men's and women's restrooms. Apparently, this is the karaoke joint to come to if you want to get wasted. As my friend CJ told me, Luxor is more of a place to drink rather than to karaoke.
