This is my favorite poke spot in the triangle! From my experience, it has the best portion sizes. This is the pick two protein size and it's pretty big! There's never a line and it's never crowded, but food is good and fresh. Lots of topping choices.

nice and quiet poké place in cary! we came in around 1:30p and they were only working on a to go order before taking care of us which was perfect for us to look over the menu! i was curious about the matcha edamame rice so i tried half that with half salad along with my order then built my own bowl! i did a regular bowl and chose tuna and tofu as my protein, you get three protein if you order large. the staff was nice and friendly, helped each one of us timely. this was a nice poke place near my relatives so definitely would recommend if you're in the cary area!

the boba teas caught my eye but I had an hour drive home and didn't want to have them watered down by the time we got home.

I ordered a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and added shrimp and cheese. The chicken tasted like it was made with chicken thighs -- super juicy, tender, and not dried out at all, which I really appreciated. The shrimp was a nice add-on, and the yum yum sauce was good. Looking back, I probably should've ordered an extra one for the bowl. They have plenty of seating if you want to eat in, and the menu is ordered through an iPad-style system. The server was very respectful and made it clear he was available if I needed help. I personally went with takeout, but both options are solid. Overall, I really liked this spot. If you're in Raleigh and craving a good rice bowl with options, this place is worth checking out. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

It's not your typical hibachi place where everything is cooked on a flat top, this meat is actually grilled to perfection! I kid you not but the vegetables are amazing too! My go-to is usually the Chicken and Vegetable plate. I feel like it's just enough protein along with a daily dose of veggies. I can eat this dish every day if I wanted. The prices are fair for the quality and portions that you get. I can finish the whole plate but if I'm not that hungry; it takes me two sittings to finish. There's a new owner and he's a really cool guy. He's always friendly and willing to help. I appreciate customer service the most. I'm always happy to support business owners like that.

So, of course, I ordered one. A minute or two later, it was in front of me - a goblet filled to the salty brim with a well balanced blend of tequila, lime juice, triple sec and ice. Everyone else at the table followed suit, but the service wasn't so instant. More on this later. We were a group of 9, with reservations. The table was nicely located and not off in a corner. There were 2- and 4-tops all around us. Another long table, this one bar height, butted the end of our regular height table. The servers soon separated them for easier access. Goji y Agave is the product of a partnership between a Mexican chef and an Asian one. There are two menus for food, but you can mix and match between them. Several of us ordered a little from each. Few of us could finish our entrees, the portions were so plentiful! An early snag was placing an order for nine drinks at once - the bar was overloaded, and the servers couldn't get them out together. This created a bottleneck where we could see them on the bar, but could not get to them. Folks were thirsty! This repeated when bringing out food. Once the food arrived, it was amazing, but it was a long wait getting all the orders for a large party together and out at once. Fortunately, it was early on a non-weekend night. Sadly, things were still delayed. But I still recommend going, just maybe don't take the whole gang at once!

The space is very bright and has the unique feel indicated by the name, a little bit of Latin and Asian fusion. For dinner, I chose the red thai curry. It did not take long at all for them to get my food out, which I am very thankful for because I was very hungry. The red thai curry is delightfully flavorful and spicy. There was a decent amount of red thai curry and rice leftover for me to take them home for lunch the next day. The staff got me in, fed, and out the door in about 45 min.

The staff was super accommodating,…read morehelpful, and friendly despite us being underdressed after a day of exploring Raleigh (oops). Pretty cool incorporating high end Chinese food, and the atmosphere was fancy but cozy. Don't forget to look around, they have lots of cool decorations! As for food, I was a bit underwhelmed. We started with the salt and pepper calamari which had a great balance of mala spice. It was delicious and set high expectations for the rest of the meal. We mainly came for the Peking duck which was honestly just ok, especially considering the price. I thought it'd come with more meat, most of the duck was skin which also seemed to be sweeter? than usual. We also got the century egg Napa cabbage which seemed very overpriced and under flavored. Our waitress mentioned it was a new item, so it may be refined in the future. Giving 4 stars for the experience. Missed our waitress' name, but she was great and made the experience even better. I think this place is worth trying again, but probably for another special occasion to justify the price range!

The menu seemed pricey but the ambiance and food quality more than deserves. It is nice tranquil environment. The service is quick and respectful and they are not shy in guiding. I had eggplant dish, which I have had at multiple chinese restaurants before, but haven't seen this style of creation. It looked and tasted awesome. I wish they had more vegeterian items on the menu especially for the dinner and that has held us back from visiting. They had nice chinese jazz music playing. I enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit again. I asked the server for vegeterian options during dinner, he said they are willing to accomodate e.g. fish with tofu. So we will be here again another time with family.

From check in to being seated, the experience was seamless we only waited about five minutes. Our server, Talaya, was incredible and provided outstanding hospitality throughout our visit. While the food was delicious, what stood out most was the teamwork among the staff. My water glass never sat empty, and sauces/sides were always replenished without us having to ask. The ambiance was relaxing, welcoming, and perfect for a casual meal. It's also very kid friendly, which I appreciated. I can't wait to bring my little one on our next visit. I came here when I was visiting my in laws, so naturally, I wanted to expose them to KBBQ. Unfortunately, I picked this place because a lot of reviews said its the best and allat, when in truth, this place is one of the worst KBBQ I have ever visited. Not only they stopped serving lettuce wrap (sure, they have it in the menu but they didn't stock it because their lettuce supplier increased the price or whatever), they did not offer any other wrap options like a decent kbbq should have (rice wrap, radish wrap, or shisho leave...etc). The meat quality? It's the cheapest cut you could ever get. The kalbi cut is so thin and tasted old (spoiler alert, they should be thicker and higher quality..), the other unseasoned meat cut is lower quality too. The seasoned meat were so bad I had hard time enjoying it. The bulgogi did not taste like a propee bulgogi and once again, tasted old like it has been in the fridge for too long. The spicy bulgogi was so grainy and not spicy at all, almost like they're using low quality gochugaru. Honestly, you will be much better off buying your own ingredients at h-mart or any asian grocery than going to this place. The only saving grace was the kind server who tends us often. 10/10 will not recommend.

I ordered a combo plate of chicken pastry and bbq pork, with sides of fried okra and potato salad. Everything was served piping hot, just as it should be. The Chicken Pastry (chicken and dumplings) had wonderful flavor and was comfort food at its finest with thick and wide chewy noodle dumplings. So often chicken and dumpling dishes can be overly salty but Ole Time Barbecue's was perfectly seasoned. The barbecue pork also had great flavor and also was seasoned perfectly, though unfortunately I can't do even the most mild of spicy, so even tho there were only a few red pepper flakes, they made it a little bit challenging for me to eat. The fried okra was cooked and seasoned perfectly and not at all oily and the potato salad was also really tasty. I also tasted their coleslaw and mac and cheese from Hubs dinner and both were delicious as well. Also loved their sweet tea, I got it 25% sweet . The biggest surprise was the large basket of tasty hush puppies brought to our table the minute we sat down, and refilled. Also delicious and seasoned perfectly. The location is very homey and diner like, with just a handful of tables so you may have to wait, though luckily we didn't. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was they served their sides in styrofoam containers versus reusable dishes like they use for their main courses. I do love that they're using reusable dishes for their mains so it seems like they could also do this for their sides. Less trash for the restaurant and better for the world... .
