Started out well- plenty of parking. Inside well lit. I was greeted by two nice hostesses. I asked for gluten free soy sauce and a side of spicy mayo- I got those paid for my Eight rolls - almost $90. The bag for my togo order was stapled closed- I returned home (12 minute drive) When I got home I opened the bag and there was only 7 rolls - (the rolls are buy one get one) you think they would have counted) Anyway I called and told them they said I could come back. I drove back to the place and you would really think the place would give me an extra cheap roll for my troubles- nope- wasted an extra 24 minutes- The rolls didn't have much flavor- (the sauces did) not the fish- the masago was pretty lite- some pieces didn't have any.

    Wonton Soup- so good!!!

We live close to Parkside Commons, and this is one of our favorite spots to visit with friends and family. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone (including those who aren't big sushi fans), though the BOGO sushi special is a huge draw. The wonton soup is genuinely one of the best I've had in the Triangle, and I'm picky. The staff is friendly, the space is well maintained, and portions are solid for the price. They usually have a great playlist going, which adds to the relaxed, fun vibe, and the full bar offers a wide range of cocktail and mocktail options. Definitely recommend if you're in Cary. Don't forget to say hi to the fish as you walk by -- they love greeting everyone

I had the pad Thai special that included pad Thai, dumplings, and a California roll. Great portion size for lunch. The food was really great. I got my food to go. The staff was really great...nice and friendly. This restaurant is located in a great spot. I will definitely return to try other options.

A little lunch date with a hubby today, always love this place as it's a good staple. We stopped in looking for sushi, but ended up going with something more traditional, he got the pad Thai while I got general tso's with extra spicy Thai heat. portion sizes are great perfect size, couldn't ask for better. The fried rice was super yummy and the crunch on the general tso's specifically was spot on. The only reason I'm not giving this a five-star this time around is the level of heat. The pad Thai was perfect however asking for Thai spicy on the generals just didn't work out. there was barely any heat and it somewhat missed the mark, but the flavor was spot on perfect the crunch was great and it was filling! We will definitely be back!

Philly Roll I Did I Roll That

Tonight was my second time having dinner at Sushi at the Park, and I enjoyed it again! We were seated right away on a chilly & dreary Sunday evening. Josh was our server and he was good!!! We started with water & cocktails. We then ordered edamame as an appetizer. They have a pretty full menu of options from sushi to hibachi, Korean bbq to curry!! There's something for everyone. I ordered the same sushi rolls I had the first time, the 'Did I Roll That' and 'The Philly'. Both again were delicious. Their rolls are BOGO free, they are all priced at $19.95! Such a great deal for the quality & freshness of the rolls.

Went on a date night here and enjoyed the experience! The waitress was friendly and kind and the food was tasty. I got a Rameseas Roll ($19.95 Tuna, salmon, yellowtail, kani, asparagus, scallions, and masago wrapped in seaweed (no rice) and the chicken dumplings. My boyfriend got Chicken Pad Thai and the Did I Roll That roll ($19.95 Shrimp tempura and avocado topped with seared beef, ponzu sauce, and scallions. The rolls tasted fresh and the chicken dumplings were well seasoned! They have a lot of sushi roll options with a wide variety of toppings. I do wish they had a basic section of more simple rolls, but that is just part of the fun experience of a dine-in restaurant vs grocery store sushi right?? The BOGO roll is too good to pass up. Inside was clean and had TVs throughout as well as a cute fish tank! I look forward to coming back and trying a Poke bowl or Curry soon!

I stopped by Sushi at the Park after a morning/afternoon of running some errands, and was glad to end the day here! I plopped on the bar stool and ordered one of their gin drinks, and it was amazing. I don't even remember what it was or the names of the two excellent bartenders that assisted me. I ordered a couple of rolls, and checked through my email. The drink had the desired effect, and I was more calm when the food arrived. The food was also delicious, and made for a great experience. The vibe is pretty mellow but the furniture is very modern and sparse. I can see why so many friends have recommended it to me.

I came here with my cousin who was visiting and was so glad we tried this place out. Wonderful food, excellent service, and a great time. Prices were decent too.

For our appetizers we got the crab angels that were good! For our main course we did the chicken hibachi, although the fried rice could have used a little more veggies/flavor it was still very good and the chickens with vegetables was otherwise flavorful! The servers were very kind and quick with our orders!

I ordered online via toast tab and it was very fast and efficient. I picked up my sushi order at the hostess stand and everything was ready. I ordered 4 different sushi rolls and they were delicious. They were also labeled and there were chop sticks , ginger, soy sauce and wasabi in the to go containers. Thank you for satisfying my sushi craving and making it so easy to pick up!

Fresh Off the Roll, In Roll We Trust, Chefs Special Roll

Good sushi and good deals! I came here with my friend on Labor Day weekend fairly early for lunch. We sat at a booth and were given a large menu to look through. There were a ton of rolls, all with unique names and fillings. Our server was nice and told us her favorites, which was helpful. I opted for the Fresh Off the Roll and In Roll We Trust. They do a deal where its buy one get one free sushi roll of equal or lesser value, which I think is a great bargain. My friend got two Chef's Special Rolls. The two rolls were great. Different tasting, but really good. The Fresh Off the Roll was very raw fish heavy, which I enjoyed because they give thick pieces of tuna and salmon. I loved the light yuzu miso sauce it came with. The In Roll We Trust was good as well, it had more of a spicy kick to it. The chef's special roll was very yummy as well; it had a lot of kani on top of it. Overall, the sushi was tasty. If I'm in the area again, I'll come back.

The chef curates a multi course and highly personalized tasting menu. My wife and I had the pleasure to partake in this unbelievable experience for our 21st anniversary, and it was hands down one of the best meals we've ever had. Not this month, not just sushi, not just in NC...but one of the top meals of all time anywhere. We had the Grand Omakase, which came out to 10 courses in total. I won't go into detail on each and every course, but let's just say that each and every course was of the highest quality fish, sushi or meat we've had anywhere. From the sushi flown out straight from Japan, to the beluga caviar and A5 Wagyu, and everything in between. We've had sushi across the nation and overseas, 100s of times. This has taken the top #1 spot out of all of them, especially with what we were served in the Grand Omakase package. Impeccable service, 8 sushi chefs all working efficiently at once in an open style sushi kitchen, all within a classy (but not pretentious by any means) establishment. The Grand Omakase package here is one of those bucket list items for anyone who loves sushi, top shelf meats and fish, and enjoys a high level foodie experience.

The restaurant itself has a very intimate, modern and upscale feel, which makes it perfect for a date night or when you just want something a little nicer than your typical sushi spot. The service was attentive, and I appreciated that everything felt intentional--from the presentation to the pacing of the meal. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and I love that you can keep things fairly traditional with nigiri and sashimi or venture out and try some of their more creative specialty rolls and small plates. Everything is presented beautifully, so of course you're going to take a picture before you touch it. Now, M Sushi is definitely on the pricier side, so this wouldn't necessarily be my casual Tuesday-night sushi run. But for the quality, atmosphere and overall experience, I understand why it has the reputation it does. Fenton already gives you plenty to do before or after dinner, so M Sushi makes for a really nice evening out. Good food, beautiful presentation, great service and an elevated atmosphere. Definitely worth experiencing at least once if you're a sushi lover!

The 6 pieces Nigiri was also well balanced and had a good selection of sushi (amberjack, salmon belly, cooked shrimp, etc.). The Sushi Mon hand roll was good but had a bit of heat to it. I am a bit disappointed that the days of BOGO sushi are no-more here but I've still enjoyed the Florida and Tokyo rolls here as they have been my go-to for years (so many work group dinners and lunchtime visits). The Teriyaki Chicken is still a solid choice as well, served with rice and some steamed veggies. Recently got to come here with a group of work colleagues and we started out with a great appetizer choice of the Wasabi Platter (spring roll, shrimp in blanket, satay, steamed gyoza, fried gyoza) plus a plate of the Fresh Basil Rolls (made of shrimp, chicken, lettuce, cilantro, cucumber, bean sprouts, carrots, basil leaves, vermicelli, rice paper, house made hoisin sauce, ground peanuts). The group at our table devoured these appetizers, good stuff. For my meal I went with what looked like a new selection on the menu, Chicken Katsu (panko chicken cutlet). I will note at this point that it did take a longer than expected time to get our main plates out to us, one at the table even said "we did put in our orders, right?" But when our meals arrived, it was worth the wait. With my chicken katsu, it was perfectly cooked (fried golden but not overdone), but the accompanying sauce and spicy mayo made this one even better. I would definitely get this selection again and hope it stays on the menu. Wasabi is still serving some of the best Asian meals in Cary and I am glad they have continued through the years in MacGregor Village.
