Sushi at the Park in RTP! For those who do not know, Research Triangle Park is a tech hub epicenter in Raleigh, North Carolina. SATP is a great place with a premier location for a business lunch! The decor also delivers. Plenty of space for events as well. The cuisine was fresh prepared usuzukuri style. We ordered 2 rolls and 3 apps which was plenty for 3 people. We also tried some cocktails, I ordered the Perfect Pear which is made with their fresh sour mix from real fruit, absolut pear and pear juice (which is pictured in my review). Next time I would like to try the Spiked Thai Tea. Yum! Pro tip: order your sushi double or thinly sliced for smaller bites. I tried a togo order at Sushi at the Park recently and went for their Bibimbop with beef bulgogi. Getting the food was quick, friendly and packaged nicely. A good Bibimbop is all about balance fresh vegetables, warm rice, and a protein that brings real flavor without overpowering everything else. The textures should mix well and every bite should feel a little different depending on what you scoop up. Their version comes with spinach, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes, and pickled radish over rice, topped with your choice of protein. The beef bulgogi was tender and seasoned well, and everything tasted fresh and clean. It's not the most traditional Bibimbop you'll ever find, but it works especially if you like a lighter, more contemporary style. I've also had their ramen before, and it's great rich broth, good toppings, and definitely worth ordering. And even though the name focuses on sushi, there's a lot more on the menu than just rolls! Started out well- plenty of parking. Inside well lit. I was greeted by two nice hostesses. I asked for gluten free soy sauce and a side of spicy mayo- I got those paid for my Eight rolls - almost $90. The bag for my togo order was stapled closed- I returned home (12 minute drive) When I got home I opened the bag and there was only 7 rolls - (the rolls are buy one get one) you think they would have counted) Anyway I called and told them they said I could come back. I drove back to the place and you would really think the place would give me an extra cheap roll for my troubles- nope- wasted an extra 24 minutes- The rolls didn't have much flavor- (the sauces did) not the fish- the masago was pretty lite- some pieces didn't have any. read more

We live close to Parkside Commons, and this is one of our favorite spots to visit with friends and family. The menu is extensive, with something for everyone (including those who aren't big sushi fans), though the BOGO sushi special is a huge draw. The wonton soup is genuinely one of the best I've had in the Triangle, and I'm picky. The staff is friendly, the space is well maintained, and portions are solid for the price. They usually have a great playlist going, which adds to the relaxed, fun vibe, and the full bar offers a wide range of cocktail and mocktail options. Definitely recommend if you're in Cary. I went on a sunday night for a family dinner. It was busy but we were seated promptly. The waitstaff was excellent. We ordered the park sampler, the burritonator (which is a giant sushi roll), ramen and two sushi rolls. The food is not amazing and destination but the whole evening went well and there were no complaints for the family night out. The kids are usually fussy eaters but they downed everything. A little lunch date with a hubby today, always love this place as it's a good staple. We stopped in looking for sushi, but ended up going with something more traditional, he got the pad Thai while I got general tso's with extra spicy Thai heat. portion sizes are great perfect size, couldn't ask for better. The fried rice was super yummy and the crunch on the general tso's specifically was spot on. The only reason I'm not giving this a five-star this time around is the level of heat. The pad Thai was perfect however asking for Thai spicy on the generals just didn't work out. there was barely any heat and it somewhat missed the mark, but the flavor was spot on perfect the crunch was great and it was filling! Went on a date night here and enjoyed the experience! The waitress was friendly and kind and the food was tasty. I got a Rameseas Roll ($19.95 Tuna, salmon, yellowtail, kani, asparagus, scallions, and masago wrapped in seaweed (no rice) and the chicken dumplings. My boyfriend got Chicken Pad Thai and the Did I Roll That roll ($19.95 Shrimp tempura and avocado topped with seared beef, ponzu sauce, and scallions. The rolls tasted fresh and the chicken dumplings were well seasoned! They have a lot of sushi roll options with a wide variety of toppings. I do wish they had a basic section of more simple rolls, but that is just part of the fun experience of a dine-in restaurant vs grocery store sushi right?? The BOGO roll is too good to pass up. Came here for dinner recently, and everyone enjoyed their food. We got there right when it opened for dinner (4 PM) because the restaurant doesn't accept reservations for parties smaller than 5 (we had 3 people in ours) and we wanted to be sure that we were seated immediately. That being said, I noticed that there were still plenty of seats available as we were leaving, so I guess it wasn't necessary to be so early :) Our server did a pretty good job throughout the meal - he knew the menu reasonably well and was generally present when we needed him. I ended up ordering two sushi rolls for $19.95, which I thought was a reasonably good deal, especially since each sushi roll was a specialty roll and had 8 pieces. I was surprised at how quickly the sushi was prepared, and it was pretty tasty! Nothing incredible but not bad at all. My brother got the Hibachi steak and enjoyed it, and my wife got the sushi burrito and thought it was just OK, sadly :) Cool concept, though! I stopped by Sushi at the Park after a morning/afternoon of running some errands, and was glad to end the day here! I plopped on the bar stool and ordered one of their gin drinks, and it was amazing. I don't even remember what it was or the names of the two excellent bartenders that assisted me. I ordered a couple of rolls, and checked through my email. The drink had the desired effect, and I was more calm when the food arrived. The food was also delicious, and made for a great experience. Service was great. Our waitress was attentive and food came out in a timely fashion. My daughter really enjoyed her vegetarian sushi, but my sushi bowl stole the show. There were a ton of rolls, all with unique names and fillings. Our server was nice and told us her favorites, which was helpful. I opted for the Fresh Off the Roll and In Roll We Trust. They do a deal where its buy one get one free sushi roll of equal or lesser value, which I think is a great bargain. My friend got two Chef's Special Rolls. The two rolls were great. Different tasting, but really good. The Fresh Off the Roll was very raw fish heavy, which I enjoyed because they give thick pieces of tuna and salmon. I loved the light yuzu miso sauce it came with. The In Roll We Trust was good as well, it had more of a spicy kick to it. The chef's special roll was very yummy as well; it had a lot of kani on top of it. Overall, the sushi was tasty. I am shocked this is the standard for a sushi restaurant. This is not my first time here; it seems to be going downhill. My spicy tuna rolls were already broken apart before even touching them. Then, with a closer look at my yellowtail rolls, I see they are the thinnest pieces of yellowtail in the roll. In theory, I paid for two rolls of rice. I would've been better off grabbing sushi from the grocery store and paying half the price. There's also a lot of options for food making it a really great place to eat with a group of friends. The food is really good here too, although if I'm feeling like I want a good curry or a cozy ramen, there are a lot of other places in the area I would go first, specifically for these foods. I went around 3p on a Sunday and wasn't disappointed! I got a flamingo roll and a rainbow roll; the price and quality was reasonable and incredible. The fish and veggies were fresh, and the roll held together very well! My husband got the chicken hibachi, it was cooked to perfection and the veggies were sautéed wonderfully. They are super customizable and after some staff changes and struggle through post covid, they have settled down and we can now again get a consistent high quality experience. 7/17 after 4pm I brought my sister and a friend here because Sushi at the Park was on my list. We came for dinner. We were greeted and immediately seated upon entering. We all loved that there was a buy one get one option on the sushi rolls. We couldn't beat that. Service: Our server seemed extremely overworked, with way too many tables to service at once. It was hard to grab her attention for simple things such as eating utensils, napkins, and refills This isn't a restaurant that thrives off service. Food: The wonton soup was very nice warm, and savory. I enjoyed it. The bagel roll was also good. Mostly everything my table ordered was decent BUT my sister found a weird-looking shrimp piece that was very hard to eat in her roll. I'm not sure what happened there. A margarita was ordered by someone at my table, and it was extremely watered down and tasted like a virgin sweet and sour mix on ice. Do I recommend? Sure if you're seeking a deal on sushi and don't care about subpar service. Would I come again? Probably not, unless I'm desperately craving sushi and in the area. This place was a bit out of my way. I walked around the Park for a while tonight looking for dinner. Unsure of what I wanted and jaded by slow service at the first bar I was about to settle for some to go from one of the chains by the hotel. Sushi at the Park saved me. I strolled by and saw an empty seat at the bar...it was meant to be. The service was great. The bartender tonight (12/21) was hustling, but took the time to offer advice and answer questions...and I was a little indecisive. Great job! They had regular drink specials including tonight's half off sake. There were several beers on tap with a surprisingly local craft beer majority. I settled for a hi wire and dug into the menu. The menu is huge. I can't wait to come back and try more of this! Awesome variety of sushi, entrees, apps, etc. I settled in for a shrimp lo mein. The food was great and came out fast. I was really impressed by how fast it came it. The shrimp were big, lo mein cooked perfect, and green and white onions with a nice orange garnish. Overall I can't wait to come back!
