Newly remodeled pool. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere for families and kids. There is music, but it's not that loud. There aren't too many lounge chairs, so go early to get one. I like how this place is so chill compared to other loud crazy pools in Vegas. So chill you can fall asleep pretty easily. Good size pool. Clean restrooms. Not too many people. There's shade, but it gradually disappears as the day goes on. Food and drinks are for purchase here as well. read more

First Harrahs lies and says the pool is Olympic sized. But it isn't. It's maybe 4 lanes wide. There is no security to get into the pool area. Anybody can walk in. You don't have to be staying at the hotel. But then - who would want to come to this hotel pool? You can reserve a cabana online $250-300 for a morning or afternoon. But no way to reserve a day bed online. If you want any shade you need to reserve a daybed - but I really wanted to know the cost before inquiring. There are only about a dozen chaise lounges available for free. And by 10:30 AM they are in full sun - and since it's May - it's 100 degrees out and you need shade. As far as Vegas pools go, I was very disappointed. We walked down at 8:50am (it opens at 9am) and there were already 10 people lined up to get in. Once we had our bags checked by security, it was a rush to grab a chair. There are only about 20 lounge chairs in the whole place for guests. The rest are cabanas and fancy loungers they want you to pay for. If I'm paying almost $50 a day for a resort fee, I'd expect more chairs available for guests. After an hour, you could hardly get in the pool as guests have no where to go except sit along the pool edge or block the steps to get in. The bar and snack bar staff were super friendly and they had plenty of guest towels for pool use. The bathrooms were very clean. Bottom line, if you plan on going to the pool, don't expect much at Harrah's as the pool is smaller than other hotels and you probably won't find chairs to enjoy the Vegas sun. read more

CABANA EXPERIENCE The group I was with rented out a cabana for the day, which was $500 for poolside, with $150 food and beverage min on a Saturday. = P R O S = + Nice to have your own shaded space + Had a beer pong table + Relaxed environment, geared for older folk and families for sure = C O N S = - Super expensive for what you get - Food sucks. $55 for a chicken tender platter that you can't even eat because the breading was so hard? - Friend asked for a Coke and our poolside server brought her a Pepsi without telling her they didn't have what she wanted...and said soda was $9. Come on! You can't just sub things without letting guests know. Lame af If you do want to get a cabana, don't get it here. Or, get the upper level cabanas, which were about half the cost of ours. read more

During the last three months I went to Vegas three times. The first two times I didn't get a chance to swim either to renovations (Flamingo) or closed for the season (Bally's). A week before my reservation at Harrah's it was reported that the pool at Harrah's was closed due to renovations. I was disappointed because I would get a chance to swim. To my surprise and delight when I checked in last Monday I was informed the pool would be open. Nothing spectacular about the pool as it's an Olympic-style standard pool. The pool isn't very deep about 3-5 feet. I believe the size of the pool is quite small for this size of the hotel; there aren't enough pool lounges. A case in point is the pool opens at 9AM but within half an hour all the pool lounges are occupied. One feature I wish this facility had is a spa. The pool isn't the greatest pool, but it's a decent pool. Considering that I wasn't able to swim the last two times in Vegas I was more than happy to have the opportunity to swim. read more

Checked into the hotel - both Harrah's and Harrah's Pool website says the pool is open until 6pm. It was not. It was closed at 5pm. We planned our day to spend this time here and it wasn't even open. What a waste of a hotel stay. read more

What a rip off! Pool closed for the season! 80 degree end of October day. Went same time last year to Paris. No issues. Here they advertise that it's open. Only to discover very differently upon arrival. Will not be back. read more

I went to the pool first day they opened for the season so the area was nice and clean and well organized. The snack and adult beverage prices were reasonable compared to other resorts on the strip. There is and adult pool and another area for kids to enjoy. The lounge chairs were very welcoming and extremely comfortable. read more

Bartender is awesome that is why there are any starts , the heavy set mask police/security guard is a jerk. Barely walking in and he rushes over to tell me I have to be in the pool if I am not wearing a mask. I had it on then putting sunblock on my face and he rushed over to tell me to put my mask on, then came back to tell me to put my mask on between drinks of my beer LOL he isn't going to have anything to do once we don't have to wear masks anymore. He is rude and way to aggressive. Not even in an indoor restaurant do you have to wear a mask while drinking. read more

Don't get me wrong... we had a great time hanging at the pool in mid September. But it could've been better. The sun pretty much stayed on one side of the pool as the Linq hotel cast a large shadow. The pool-side service was great (Anna!). We bought a cabana for the day right near the big pool. That was worth it because there were not many lounge chairs available otherwise. The food selection was poor. We ordered "loaded nachos" and got a bag of tortilla chips and small servings of cheese, sour cream and guacamole in plastic to-go tubs. The price was ridiculous for the quality of food. And at the bar, a soda was $9. What?! The bartender said it was because people bring in their own liquor and only buy soda for a mixer. C'mon! We (4 adults + 1 child) rented a Cabana, the staff were friendly and professional. Unlimited towels, kid friendly they had corn hole and a giant chess game. Lots of kids having fun with a beach ball, my 11 yr old had a blast. Our server Tara was a real professional, attention to detail on every order came by frequently and was friendly and cheerful. The pool at Harrahs is okay; much more relaxed than some of the other pools I've been to in Vegas. It is a family pool, however, when we were there I think I saw maybe 3 kids under 18. Mostly it's a relaxed pool for adults with some top40 music playing in the background. I think the lack of kids is because it's probably not much fun for them; much better pool options for kids at other hotels like the Flamingo. They have 2 pools; one regular pool that is pretty large and one play pool that's about a foot deep for sitting in (I think it's meant for kids but again, no fun for them). They do have a bar to order drinks and you can order food from the Toby Keith's restaurant. They also do have a couple waitresses taking orders. They have a sign on the door for no outside food or drinks. I had a coffee with me and they didn't seem to have a problem with that; my husband had his drink from the bar in a plastic cup and they didn't question him either; don't expect to roll in with your own cooler though. They have several lounges; we didn't have a problem getting one for us to share. You can also rent day beds and cabanas for a fee; prices ranged from $25 and up. If you are a diamond member I think they will hook you up in a reserved section with a lounger too. So overall; nice and clean and good place to chill and get some sun. If you want a more lively experience I'd suggest the adult pool at Flamingo. read more
