My pool heater was not let themknow it was an HVAC issue at the onset. They sent someone who spent an hour to tell me it was an HVAC issue and they are not certified to take care of an HVAC issue. I have used them for over 7 years. Use to be great but over the last 6 months they have been horrible. No since of customer needs. They did a horrible job replacing our liner. Coping continue to fall apart and they were very unresponsive to correct. Did not get the pool back to normal. Follow up and follow through is horrible! read more

I will give the good first...they do have good customer service and good pricing for bi-weekly cleanings. Also, Bo is very knowledgeable and I loved speaking to him about my pool. Jessica, who usually answers the phone is super sweet too. Anytime anything went wrong, she always apologized. Now the not so good...I have had to call several times to get things done that I needed and they just never seem to follow through- I called for 4-5 weeks to see if I could get someone to give me a quote for a pool cover. They never called me back to follow up, I was always me calling them. They finally sent someone out (and he was amazing- Bo! Thank you)! I signed up for bi-weekly cleanings with them, the first time they came, they didn't clean my pool and I was confused because when they left there were leaves everywhere. I called and they told me they could not clean it because the water level was a little low. They did not e-mail me or leave a note or anything, I had to call to find that out. They were supposed to come yesterday, never showed up and I called today and they told me they need a power vacuum to clean my pool so they moved my cleaning to another day...I cancelled my service with them and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Initially I was put off by the confusion surrounding which location would service my address, but once they figured it out, things moved along relatively fast. The rep they sent was upbeat and very informative. However, the wait time for a maintenance call was longer than I was willing to wait; Summer is short and each day I wasn't able to use my pool was an eternity. I used Pool Butler to winterize my Pool. My normal Pool provider was booked and referred me to use them. My Pool opening was scheduled for yesterday, but once the cover was removed we realize there was not enough chemicals used during the winterizing, the liner was not screwed in tight enough, and the water was not below the jets. Also the Vinyl liner is ripping away from surfacing due to coercion LSI/unproperly winterized pool, which is shown in the below pictures. The water was completely black, instead of the normal green to yellow color. The 1st picture shows the cover 1st being removed, the 3rd shows after 12 bags of shock was used. So I got my Pool guy to call in with me and the lady Kimberly was helpful and provided me with the email address so I could send in pictures, and I was to received a call back from the service manager. I never received a call so I called back in this morning, and I was transferred to service manager Steven. Steven tells me they are not at fault and that it is normal to have yellow/green color water, but I reminded him the water was black and not the mentioned colors. He said he would call me back around 2pm today after he speaks with the owner of the company, but still no call. It is very disheartening to say the least because I heard such good things about this company. Hopefully they will do the right thing and correct the issue. As of right now, I would not refer them to anyone. read more

The Pool Butler has gone the extra mile for us many times.  In addition, their customer service has been outstanding every time.  We used them alot for our house for years.  First, for ourselves and that was simple.  Then we rented out our house for short term rentals.  The Pool Butler rescued us many times, and went the extra mile for us when we would have another renter fiasco to pool and house.  Then we did a long term rental, and then needed to open and clean the pool to sell the house.  I am saying this to elaborate on how much we needed different services, and quickly.  They were consistent and easy to work with over the years.  We are moving on to a pool-less house, but HAD to give a thank you to The Pool Butler for their great service.  Thanks read more

Terrible! Terrible. Terrible. Took advantage of the fact my parents went through a divorce and selling the house. The house is vacant so no one uses the pool but obviously my parents want the pool to be clean when potential home buyers come looking. My mother has been paying $190 monthly plus "replacement part" fees sporadically for the "broken" pump or "broken" this and "broken" that. The pool is always "broken" or need extra chemicals. How? No one is using the pool. It should just be maintenance. Well after hearing of all the extra fees I decided to go visit the home and take a look myself. On the door knob, there was a bill and a date of the latest visit for "cleaning." They had supposedly cleaned the pool 2 days prior...how is that possible when you see the picture of the pool posted below? The pool is normally a light blue color. Algae doesn't form that fast. After reading similar reviews on other sites, FINALLY my parents have Fired these people. read more

We used this company for about 3 years and they were awful. The previous pool owners used them. The did an awful job putting in our liner. We paid a ton for. You can see footprints under the liner and it is coming away from the walls in less than a year. They also replaced our sand filter and with sand of low quality. We spent thousands trying to figure out why our pool was always green. Turns out they used cheap sand that was not filtering well. We had to pay $500 more to replace sand they charged $500 for. The customer service is awful. Melissa and Jessica are terrible in the office. They don't return calls are disorganized. The owner was awful as well when I called him about the liner not even having trim on the edging. Even our new pool company can't believe how bad of a job they did putting in our liner. Avoid this company, I wish we did. Having a pool is expensive enough and worse with a poor pool company. read more

They answered the phone on the first ring and called before the appt to ask permission to make 1 stop before. Called on their way and finished everything quickly. Turns out they also built that pool. The technician walked me through the operations of my particular pump and filter. Very happy. It'll be a good pool season. read more

Very bad experience. Pool was left almost black for more than an entire month and unusable for most of the summer. Charged me for almost 1k worth of chemicals when it was the equipment not working. I would tell them pool was not running and they would dispute it. Had to send videos to prove it to them. Would not recommend to anyone. Have a great company now who has since replaced everything pool butler installed and pool looks great and all works as it should. read more

I sent these guys an email and pentair sent them a factory service request. They never made any contact with me to support their vendor or the device request. They can't do a good job if they won't respond to service requests or support their vendors. read more

I called pool butler on 3/19/2020 to have them come open my pool. 04/01/2020 Joshua came out to open the pool. He said they do a follow up, because they did not get the pool complete clean that day, and they came out two days later to clean and vacuum it again ($412). I called a few days later, because I was still unhappy with the way the pool looked and I was not getting any free chlorine readings. On 4/6/2020 they came out again, this time charged me for another service ($160) and chemicals. I gave it a week, I still was not thrilled with the way the pool looked, so they sent out Jimi O on 4/13/2020. During his service, I didn't receive any feedback about what he did to the pool or what he put in the pool. I was charged for this day ($123). Still unhappy with the way the pool was looking, I wrote a letter to the owner and left message for the office. I t a call back from Jimi, who was confrontational and mouthy "I am a grown man I will keep my responsibility when I do something that is not right but I was happy with the way I left your pool today because I couldn't keep leaves from getting into it, it as windy while there". I replied "you were happy, but I was not happy, there were still lots of leaves at the bottom deep end of the pool, and my invoice says zero readings performed and performed zero task what did out do to the pool because I still do not have a chlorine reading?" I hung up with Jimi, and called pool butler back, then they finally sent another Jimmy out a few days later. That Jimmy treated the pool for phosphates, and within 24 hours my pool looked immaculate ( 1 month and over $500+ in charges later). Meanwhile, I have not received an invoice, they just charged my card, so I called the office and had all of my invoices sent to me via email, so I could know what I was paying for. I was on a two week service rotation, so at the end of the month a service follow up technician came out to service the pool. He had the second skimmer door that they ordered for me, and this one did not fit either (still waiting on that part too). That service technician said they would reorder the part and be back out shortly. Over two weeks went by, and my by weekly service technician did not come out. So, I called pool butler, over and over again. The week of 05/10/2020, i left several messages, no one called me back. The week of 05/17/2020, I called and left more messages, no one called me back. Finally on 05/21-22/2020 in the morning time someone answered the phone, she looked up my account and acted very puzzled, told me I had an open ticket. Then she told me she was new, and needed help looking at my account and would call me back. Again, I never received a call back. Meanwhile, its been a month since they have come out to service my pool and fulfill their bi weekly obligation. They will not call me back or come out. On Sunday 05/24/2020, I left them a message not to come back because I had found someone else to come out and start servicing my pool. But, because all this time has passed, the pool has become cloudy and has gotten away from us again, and it is now going to be very expensive to treat and more time will pass before we can swim in it again. This entire experience with pool butler has been unprofessional, draining, and they have an aggressive employee to top it off. I would not recommend this pool company to service your pool. They should refund my money that I have paid them so I can use it to pay for the other pool company to fix what they have ruined for me and my family. Pool Butler (and CSD Pools) has not lived up to their contract agreement "to keep your pool looking pristine and luxurious all year", and they have ignored my attempts to contact them. read more
