This place is absolutely dreadful. I can't understand the positive reviews and have to question their legitimacy. We arrived on a Friday night (11/8/25) about 5pm. The place was maybe at 50% capacity. Lots of empty tables and no one else out front or next to the host stand. The wait was still 20 minutes to be sat. We only had an hour for dinner, so I asked if the kitchen was fast. The host said it was still early so things were coming out pretty quick. So we waited. A little over 20 minutes later we were seated. It took the server nearly 10 minutes to stop by the table for the first time. At that point we started to get nervous. We mentioned to her that we only had about 25-30 minutes and asked if the kitchen was still getting food out fast. She said "yes," they were. So we placed our entire order, drinks and food at that point. 25 minutes later, I had to flag her down to ask if our food was coming. Not exhaggerating, 25 minutes from the time we placed the order and still no food. I told her we probably didn't have time to eat it. So she said, "I'll check, do you want me to bring the bill?" No appetizers, only a couple soft drinks, no food, 55+ minutes since we arrived, and she's asking if we want the bill. Are you kidding me?? No, we want our food, 10 minutes ago! A few minutes later, the server rushes out with all our food. The plates are hot, they've clearly been sitting in the expo window. Except, not everyone's food comes out. We're missing a panini. So we all get to sit with our plates in front of us for several more minutes while we wait for the rest of the food to come out. We ask the server to bring boxes, so we can take it all with us, which she does, and of course, she faithfully brings the bill for $120+ dollars. I was a bartender, so I still gave her 20% tip, but that is the worst service, and one the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a LONG time. Avoid this place. read more

Fun playful atmosphere, attentive service until the end. I enjoyed the tuna poke bowl, the medley of veggies and fish was delish but the black rice remained crunchy. Neat neighborhood spot. Huge menu, there's something for everyone here. We had the Crab Rangoon Dip (caution: they use REAL lump crab meat) a Porch burger and a Baja shrimp wrap. A great place with a fun atmosphere. My favorite are the swing seating on the patio. It's a really amusing way to dine. The patio has a giant connect four board and Jenga blocks. Bean bag toss game is fun too. Makes me think of a playground and picnic combination. Inside is nicely decorated too. The bar is large and there is plenty of seating throughout. The food is really delicious. I normally get the buffalo chicken tenders but decided to try nachos this time. I ordered them with no beans and added chicken tinga. This was very good even though a little spicy. I will try this again with the short rib. The happy hour menu has plenty to choose from along with daily specials. It was really a large portion and easy to share with a large group. I ordered the blackened shrimp tacos. I was excited to eat them, however the spices were very overpowering and almost too salty. Came back to update my review since it's been years since I've eaten here and today reminded me that I was correct in making this decision in the first place. My husband placed a pick up order and I asked for a simple Caesar salad with chicken. Hard to mess up, or so I thought. The "salad" consisted of very wilted lettuce, 3-7 peptitas and very small and very dry chunks of chicken. Oh and absolutely no dressing. Not even on the side. We live down the street so we called to ask if we could pick up the dressing really quick, the first time no one answered the phone. The second time we were placed on hold, and I'm assuming hung up on because after 7 mins the line disconnected. I tried to just get over it and drizzle it with a little bit of olive oil and lemon juice, but the soggy lettuce and the dry af chicken were not redeemable. Stopped into The Porch on a rainy Sunday morning to watch some football games and our experience was phenomenal! It wasn't too loud (family-friendly) and the vibe was perfect for game day. We were promptly seated (at the bar by choice) and the bartenders were very attentive the entire time we were there. Our drinks were filled fast and they helped us with our food order which was greatly appreciated as it was our first time visiting. We ordered the chicken tenders and truffle fries which were some of the BEST chicken tenders we've ever had! We also ordered the chicken tinga nachos and they were also delicious. One of the owners ended up stopping by and asking us how we were doing. We had a great conversation with him and loved that personal touch of service. So nice! We went on a Wednesday afternoon right when happy hour started. Very clean and friendly staff. The food was fantastic--each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. While it is a bit on the pricier side, I genuinely believe it's worth every penny. Their new hamburger sliders were great! If you can, definitely go during happy hour! Being in the industry for many years. This is a No No. When you auto grat. tables that could potentially give more due to the level of service and food. You miss out. I had a chicken sandwich that was pretty good (pineapple and Swiss cheese) but the bun was not very good. My kids hated their fries and said they had way too much seasoning on them. My wife got one of the bowls. She said her rice was way undercooked. Other than that the food was pretty good. Our service however was not good. Our waitress would disappear for long periods of time and we couldn't order more drinks or even get our table bussed. When we were able to order drinks we wouldn't get everything we needed. Went for lunch a few days ago, nice atmosphere, sat on the patio and they had the mist above the tables definitely needed but was not needed were all the filthy pigeons on the patio. They were literally climbing on to the table. That is a problem than management needs to address. Now to the food, my chicken sandwich was pretty good, fries were crispy however my wife's steak salad was not. The steak was beyond chewable. No one ever refilled my water after asking about it two times.
