I always thought it was super high end and expensive for some reason. We decided to just browse one Saturday morning and we ended up having a great experience! There is metered street parking in the front of the store, but there's also a large free parking lot behind the building. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we had been in before. When we said no, the friendly employee gave us the lay of the land and told us there are three floors to the store and that it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Totally true! I always thought this store was small, but it's really huge. We started browsing through all the setups and were immediately impressed by the styling of each area and all the different items. They have all kinds of furniture, decorations, and rugs. Prices were clearly marked which I appreciated since it shows they're not trying to hide anything. I was pleasantly surprised that I found quite a few things that would fit into our budget, along with higher-end, more expensive pieces. They also have a clearance section which we looked through. The pieces I saw mostly swayed more modern and a little less traditional, which is more my style anyway. Upstairs we found a coffee table that was a major upgrade from our current table, but still in our budget and actually quite affordable. It has a metal base and a glass/ceramic top that looks and feels like marble. Super sleek and sophisticated! Christine was upstairs and asked if we needed any help. We asked her about the process for purchasing as we wouldn't be able to fit the table into our car. She told us that we could pay for it and come back with a larger vehicle, or we could pay $60 for local delivery. SOLD! I am all about that convenience and for $60 they can pack and carry the pretty heavy table. We paid for our purchase and Christine was super awesome with the whole process. I am so glad we finally stopped in to Stonesthrow and I can't wait to go back! She did say that they also do special orders if you know something you want and they are able to get it in store. Highly recommend looking here instead of Wayfair etc. for a local option. They also provide interior design services!

She gets to the third ornament and says, " wait. I can't sell you these until Saturday." Mind you the examples are up and the shelves are stocked. Oddly some were in backwards. Being a prior stock boy I thought this odd. Goes on to tell me the products can't be sold until Saturday. It's Wednesday today. She offers to hold them. Great! Wait, I won't be in town Saturday. Can I pick them up Monday. Dons is closed on Sunday. I am told no, sorry. That will be too late. This is how home town stores die. I will go and buy the same ornaments on line now. I will likely get cards elsewhere. Flowers too. Why stock your shelves with things that are not for sale? Strange business approach.

I just went in to check out the signs they sell, many inspirational/motivational but some made me laugh too. I also picked up a jar a cherry salsa out of curiosity and another customer said it was crazy good so I decided to to buy it. I'll try to remember to update my review or add it as a tip after I try it. In case the owner sees this, I met Bethany and Ashley (sp?) when I was browsing around and both were super nice. I've been waiting for a week now for someone to pick up the curio for my full refund... first of all you talk to an AI named Rachael when calling the number listed... after a few days you receive an email from someone else that tells you that someone else will reach out to resolve the issue... after several emails back and forth stating that they will send the courier back to pick up the curio~ (which they asked ME to repackage) I haven't heard back from anyone in 2 days... they left me hanging with a curio that is NOT as advertised... they truly do not care once the item is shipped and they receive their money... tomorrow will be a week since the curio was delivered... I now have all the pictures and written emails documented so that I can dispute the charges with my bank...
