I have been experiencing migraines headache recently. I did a research on chiropractic care regarding its benefits when it comes to alleviating migraine headaches. Dr. Melinda is truly a professional when it comes to customer care and service. Upon arrival for my first visit, Candice greeted me and prepared everything that I needed to start treatment. She's very friendly, with great customer service skills. Dr. Melinda took my X-rays to show what had to be done for my issue. I had gone to a chiropractor before but that doctor didn't even do this procedure. I found out that my scoliosis isn't too bad but it can be one of my many migraines experiences root cause. I was suffering from lower back issues (pain and tightness) for several years, mostly caused by playing sports my whole life (wear and tear). I was suffering from stenosis aggravated by a herniated disk a few years ago. As a life long surfer and golfer, having lower back issues was a real bummer. I was only able to do one or the other, and really couldn't play golf as often as I wanted. Dr. Melinda did a great job making some minor adjustments to my back curvature that alleviated pressure on my lower back. My flare-ups are almost non-existent now, and when I do get one they are minor. I am able to play and practice golf almost as much as I want, and can surf without issues. Doctors background Doctor Richardson is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to chiropractic care. when we sat down for a diagnostic she informed me that she can apply different styles of adjusting to accommodate the patients needs [from ages 4-80]. That was a plus for me as I felt extremely nervous and untrustworthy, however once I got to know her we both gain each others trust and I felt comfortable enough that it made me feel relaxed and made my adjustment that much more enjoyable. Personal background Here is a little personal physical background information. When I was seventeen years old a car fell on me while I was working on it. I was in my house with the car jacked up and on jack stands however because of bad judgment the car ended up sliding off the jack stand and resulting into the car falling on my rib cage. For three consecutive years I was in constant pain, I saw non licensed chiropractors, as i come form a Hispanic family they tend to call them sobadores, however I always hit a plateau. My pain level through out the years would consist as four in the mornings and gradually would go up to about a eight or nine depending in my physical output. During these tough times I looked for pain relieving methods. Some of these where such as Vicodin, Marijuana, Alcohol, over the counter pain relievers. Moving on to recently. After my first visit which was a year ago I remember being able to have deep sleep for the first time in three years. My outlook in life changed resulting from me not being in pain.
