Will be back here to make the remainder of my matching set of plates & bowls, thank you so much!…read more Honestly this place is so versatile! You can come here with friends, family, birthday parties, a date; literally any type of celebration, or just to cure boredom/simply to scratch that creative itch. Would recommend scheduling a reservation time as I can see it can be busy on the weekend, but simply show up, select your piece (they are all marked with pricing), and paint! Loved how much fun this was. Good vibes all around. Once you finish painting just head up to the front desk, they will take down all your info, you pay for your piece, and it's a seven day turnaround time for you to pick it up! Now go have some fun!

You will learn a lot from the amazing instructors and the studio assistants are friendly and willing to help. I like how you have access to the studio outside of class time (depending on the class you choose). Taking advantage of the open studio time is what really helped me improved my skills. You have access to many useful tools and a good amount of glazes, but you can also bring your own cone 6 glazes. Unfortunately the studio is 50 minutes away, so I ended up setting up a studio at home. But my time at this studio definitely set me up for success.

If you're looking for a fun, beginner-friendly paint-your-own pottery studio, Get Fired Up Pottery…read moreis such a cute and creative experience. You get to pick your piece, choose your colors, and paint at your own pace, which makes it perfect whether you're planning a date, a girls' day, or a solo outing. I came by myself as a little self-care adventure and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. I got in my head at first, but I just wanted to feel like a kid again, and this place made that easy. The staff was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, which made the whole experience feel extra special and stress-free. They guide you without hovering, and they're great at answering questions if you're not sure what to do next. Just a heads up: your piece needs to be fired, so it takes about a week to get it back, but it's totally worth the wait. If you want a relaxing, creative activity and a memorable keepsake at the end, Get Fired Up Pottery is absolutely worth visiting.

We made a reservation for four people and were very excited to paint some pottery. The young lady…read morewho greeted us, told us we would be sitting at table #8 as she pointed to it. She then told us to look on both sides of the long shelves and pick a ceramic piece that we wanted to paint. They had a nice variety of pottery to choose from. We each took our time selecting our pieces. They were pricier than we expected. I paid a little over $100 for two small pieces (a turtle & a sun). My sister paid about $27 for a small leaf dish to put small trinkets on. After we all had our pieces, the young woman came out from behind the counter, showed us were the brushes were, how to pick the colors we want to use, and told us that the colors will ultimately look like the colors on the wall. She then said to make sure we give it four coats of paint, then she let us begin. We had a lot of fun painting and talking amongst our group. We even were able to walk across the street to see the Artemis II blast off before going back in to finish painting. One improvement that we would like to see would be more interaction/assistance between the staff and the customers. We would have liked to be given more guidance as to how to paint some of the more intricate areas of the pottery pieces. I, for one, wasn't sure which brush was the best to use on certain areas which caused some frustration. I do hope to return sometime to see if these areas are addressed.

Our group of 6 was met by spunky Paulette who gave us a complete and thorough explanation on how The Bent Brush operates. After washing our hands FIRST (don't want to smudge the ceramics ) we spent time looking at all the fun ceramics to choose for painting. There are various sizes, shapes and specimens to choose from with a variety of paints, brushes and tools to use as your creative mind chooses. I will be specific and say, take your time! There is no rushing here and you are encouraged to be as creative as possible. The staff is so friendly and helpful; so don't be afraid to ask for assistance! Plus, they have so many art tools that can enhance your experience you'll never know what can aide you in your next "Van-Gough" piece Our group had a great time, singing to the awesome 80's music playing in the background and painting in this super cheerful atmosphere. This last time my humans made a spider, an alien and a narwal, and a dog treat jar!! I helped with that one!!! The staff is very helpful and even gave some tips on how to write my name on the jar. They checked on us often and got us everything we needed. One of my humans is not good in art but loves this experience and actually has made some cool things. There was also some kind of event there and everyone in the birthday party had so much fun. A great way to spend a few to several hours making cool things and gifts!! Highly recommend this one!! 5 stars and can't wait until the next one!!! Bodhi Approved! #BodhiFin
