Are minors allowed there to eat?

Accompanied minors are allowed to eat on the patio outside, but are not allowed in the building itself. We do not have closed in video poker machines, this is the reasoning behind that rule. Thank you for understanding.

Located right at St. Charles & Carrollton on the streetcar line, it's super easy to get to and always buzzing in the best way. The drink options are endless--great cocktails, frozen margaritas, beer by the glass or pitcher, and a huge variety of beers to choose from. TVs are everywhere, making it a perfect spot to catch sporting events, meet up with friends, or just hang out solo. The vibe is low-key, casual, and welcoming--no frills, just a consistently good time. I also love that they're open 11 AM to 1 AM, seven days a week, which is clutch no matter the day or occasion. And finding out they've been around since 1977 just adds to the charm and legacy. If you're looking for great happy hour options, strong cocktails, classic New Orleans eats, and an Uptown spot where you can relax and connect with friends, Cooter Brown's always delivers. Definitely one of those places that never goes out of style. A true NOLA staple.

I am sure seasonally this changes. I like it! Bartender was calm and nice. Its a locals spot to get some good beers or drinks. I got what they call an Intergalactic Snack Attack. This is basically a sampler platter of apps. It had 2 mac and cheese pancakes, 6 pizza rolls that looked like Chinese dumplings, and 4 PB&J wings. The pizza rolls were good, the Mac and cheese pancakes were ok, but the star of this show were the wings! They were tossed in a Strawberry pepper jelly and peanut dust and then they give you a peanut sauce to dip them in. These were great! During the week, the kitchen opens at 5pm and that's when we got there. At that time, we were probably the youngest people in there and I am damn near 50. I am more of a daytime/ early evening bar visitor these days, so it was perfect for me. The back courtyard area is very nice for those fall/spring days and the bar area inside seemed to have a lot of character. They also have a stage for live music and comedy shows. All of these areas are not very big, so it still has that neighborhood bar feel. They have a different food vendor on weekends, so you won't get these wings then. The bartender was friendly and fast, food was great and the atmosphere was chill. I will definitely be back for a full order of those wings.

Yesterday was my first time going to loft 18 and I enjoyed myself. It was just two of us who went…read moreand we booked a bay for 1 hr. Our time was for 4:45 and since we went before 6, it was only $15 for the hour(weekday price) which is reasonably priced. The place is smaller than I thought it would be, as there are only 5 bays for the games, but still nice. Once we arrived the host showed us the screen all the games were on and how to select the games. Each bay comes with the different equipment needed for the games. We were going to play a baseball game, but our bay didn't have the stand to put the baseball on so you could hit it. I told one of the workers and she said she would get the stand from another bay. She looked and couldn't find a baseball stand at any of the bays. So I will say that's something they could improve on making sure they have the proper equipment for all the games. Besides that, we had fun. 1 hour was enough time for the 2 of us to try out different games. If you have more than 2 people I'd suggest getting more time. After we played we decided to eat. The menu has a lot of stuff to choose from, and there's a barcode at the top that you can scan that shows you pictures of most of the items on the menu. I like this because you can see how the food will look before you get it. My friend was going to order the sweet and spicy burger but they were out of the sauce, so she decided to order the Philly cheese steak. She wanted sweet potato fries, but they were out of those too so she got the truffle fries. I ordered the Chipped n chicken with a side salad and Brussel sprouts. The side salad was a nice size and was good. Food came out in a decent amount of time and we enjoyed it. My friend was surprised her Philly was on regular bread vs a roll but enjoyed it nonetheless. I enjoyed my chicken and Brussel sprouts. They give you a good bit of Brussel sprouts and I couldn't finish it because I was full. I will just say that Brussel sprouts are the only vegetables available as a side and it doesn't mention that it has bacon on it. I can eat bacon, but just thought I'd mention for those who may not eat it or who may be vegetarian. Food is priced well as there's only 1 item on there over $20. While there I also saw that they have trivia nights sometime and a recent advertisement for bingo but the music version so it's called singo. I'll be back to try more of the menu and to play more games.

But multiple games on the screen were off calibration, the decks of cards we used were missing pieces, and the food is overpriced. My loaded fries were extremely salty and they forgot the gravy and sour cream. My heart hurts to write a bad review and I loved this place when they first opened but they really seem like they don't care to keep it up.
