Drea is part of the reason why I'm sad that my 12 weeks in MI is winding down. She's seriously a DREAM & I wish I could take her with me! This was my first experience with sugaring (now 2x!) and it's going to be so hard going back to waxing. Sugaring is so much more gentle on your skin. After waxing, my skin is usually pretty red because I'm generally sensitive. But, no such thing from sugaring! I can't comment on whether or not hair grows back slower or less thick because I don't have strong growth pattern in the first place, but that's the school of thought around sugaring! I also get my brows done while I'm at it. The sugar for brows is different than the brazilian sugar, but it's just as gentle! Drea is really experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. Takes about 40 minutes for brows & brazlians and I appreciate that she takes her to time to do a good job. While she's really booked, she always accommodates schedules to the best of her ability which included seeing me at a Thursday 6pm time slot, which is AFTER her usual 10a-6pm hours. No, no, no. I can say the place was very clean and Anu was nice. I usually get Brazilian waxes with the soft wax (blue) and though I wouldn't say this was so much more painful, it definitely felt like just ripping hairs from any which way‍. Also, and most important it is almost one month exactly and I have THEE WORST INGROWN HAIR ISSUE EVER!!! I've NEVER experienced anything like this before, its so painful and like I said I'm a regular with Brazilian waxes. Even with shaving ingrown hairs were never this awful! My hair is just now long enough to get a wax but I have to wait until the ingrowns heal. It's definitely no for me. read more

Holy cow- Drea is fantastic! I have been getting sugaring done (brazilians) for about a year elsewhere then decided to try Drea after my original place stopped doing them. I'm so glad I did. I've been once to see her and it was HANDS DOWN- THE BEST SUGARING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I also had my underarms done for the first time and have been very pleased with the results. I wish I would have tried her first because she did a better job than anyone I have seen prior. She is meticulous, which is great because she does the wax that she "would want for herself."
