We set out on an adventure to check out the cocktail scene in WS since it has been on the move recently. The Powder Room has definitely set a standard of unique/great cocktails/atmosphere we were hoping for. Location: The front door faces a parking lot and is on the side of a building(not directly facing Burke st.) ***They have plenty of parking!*** we didn't realize that initially and parked on the street but will definitely take advantage of the parking lot next time. They were clever to put a couple of neon signs that are noticeable. Atmosphere: So unique! It was definitely a funky, chik, chill, and friendly vibe all at the same time. They have these little match boxes like what I could imagine they had back in the day. I cant get over the disco ball/color scheme..it sounds cheesy but it is classic and just works really well! The patio outside was also a beautiful little spot to enjoy the day. They have a whole bed of fresh lavender along the back wall and I think some rosemary was mixed in there as well. Grub:They do offer pastries and cafw style sandwiches. It looked delicious but we didn't try it this particular outing. Drinks: Before I gush about the cocktails I would like to point out they are a coffee shop as well. So whether you want a cocktail at 9am or an espresso you have your choice...the bartender mentioned how much she enjoyed making espresso martinis so, it was my opportunity to get the best of both worlds. This is one of the better espresso martinis I have had. She makes a true martini and it is not cream based. I personally love how it turned out and it takes a talented bartender to balance this flavor wise, which she did well. The most impressive drink was the violet drink. It sounded like it was going to be overly sweet however it was super refreshing and also super well balanced. It was like a lavender lemonade with a kick. Price: cocktails range between $14-16 each. We thought it was a little pricey but our drinks were worth it and we did enjoy the overall vibe to go with it. Customer service: The staff was so friendly and the bartender knows her stuff. We enjoyed interacting with the staff while we were ordering and waiting on our drinks. This is definitely a spot to check out that you won't find anywhere else. It isn't just limited to one thing so bring your friends whether everyone wants an alcoholic beverage/non-alcoholic/pastry/or sandwich.

I have been waiting to come here!! So excited to finally stop in. The decor is next level. I absolutely love the mirror ball and bright strong neon colors and theme with a high glam gloss. Even the 'actual powder room' is glammed up beyond it all. They serve coffee, tea, cocktails, finger foods and full plates. The food looked really good and smelled heavenly. We stopped in for afternoon coffee after brunching and shopping. I loved my @devilsfootbrew cherry limeade and my shopping dates said that their caramel latte and Belgian hot chocolate were smooth and yummy. I can't wait to return and sample the menu. The owner and the barista were super friendly and helpful. The patrons next to us complimented the owner on having very strong and flavorful cocktails. I eyed an espresso martini on the table .. Mmmmmm

Had a lovely experience at the powder room the ladies are very nice and take great care of you. My tuna sandwich was tasty and I enjoyed my radish arugula salad though it paired nicely with the sandwich. I also ordered a dirty martini it was perfect. They also sell wine, and desserts and they have an assortment of nonalcoholic drinks as well as mocktails you can order. They have something for everyone. The inside is small but the seating outside makes up for it. Definitely will be back to check out the events and bring friends and family. They have events you can check out on their IG.

Step into a world of whimsy at The Powder Room Reflective surfaces and classic fixtures echo a timeless sensibility, juxtaposed with fantastical art and brightly-coloured upholstery. They serve a variety of cocktails, coffee, and refreshing bevs throughout the day. I would HIGHLY recommend the Belgian sipping chocolate - drinking it will transport you to a snow-capped chalet in the Alps. The food menu is carefully curated, with small plates like housemade biscuits + jam, parfaits, and frittatas. Though the food portion sizes are on the smallish side, the items I had (mango parfait, biscuits) were delicious. There's ample free parking close to the establishment (huzzah!), and they also have capacity to host private events in their space. This is the ideal spot for a *treat yo' self* moment!

Adorable cafe with excellent drink options both non-alcoholic and alcoholic. Popped in on a sunny Saturday afternoon for a snack and a pre-dinner drink. Staff was very friendly. The space is gorgeous and the back patio is a wonderful bonus. I had a hummus plate with veggies and a Pamplemousse Priss. Hummus is simple but always good and this one was on par. The drink was balanced and so refreshing. I opted to sit in a shady spot on the patio and really enjoyed the sounds of city from a peaceful place. Can't wait to come back!

I had looked at the instagram page before arriving and saw a drink that I wanted to try. I couldn't remember the name when I got there and asked for the drink menu. I was given a look that made me feel like I was wrong for asking for it. One of the patrons was nice enough to show me a basket with menus in it. I ordered the drink and went to find a seat with my friends. Even though it was fairly crowded, there was ample seating. One of my friends ordered the $5 old fashioned and ended up ordering several more. Definitely a great deal for the price and alcohol ratio. I chose the hoopla and then a sidecar. Both were well executed. I wanted to try some of the food, but unfortunately we had eaten before arriving. Several people we spoke to said the jerk wings were a must try so I'll definitely come back for those! Outside of the first interaction with the bartender, the other one was very pleasant and continued to serve us with no issues.
