They actually care about you and your pets. Making a reservation was super easy, the whole staff is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Before I made the reservation I spoke with Jonelle and she was very nice. While my dogs were there they even sent a couple of updates about how they were without me even asking which I REALLY appreciated as my dogs are truly my babies. We also have a boy who has issues with his ears so we don't touch them and I told them and they listening to my requests about that. They also let my babies room together which was so helpful for me and for them to feel more comfortable. I can't express how much I appreciate them. Midtown has nice kennels, treat the dogs well and have a nice outdoor area. I also like that they are right next door to a 24x7 veterinary clinic in case of an emergency. They also let the groomers from next door work with your dog during his/her stay. Love that! It is great to be able to pick your dog up on a Sunday. Others like to charge you for an extra night. But, more importantly, why put your dog through staying an additional night? They do not nickel and dime you to death like one of the others in town. The other charges to give your dog treats, walks, etc. No thank you to the additional charges. Just treat my dog well! This is, in my opinion, the best in Granbury.

Simply put, it was the best experience we have had in over 20 years of sending our pups to a kennel! This is so much more than a kennel.... The setting itself sets WDR apart from the competition: it's a residential setting with a large acreage for the dogs to roam and play in, large indoor/outdoor kennels spread out over a few outbuildings on the property (they also have an indoor setting for smaller breeds that looks really nice, but we didn't use)....Our dog, like many, tends to resist bring dropped off at kennels, the vet, etc., but he welcomed his visit there and really bonded with the owner, Kelli, who's caring, professional and honest with customers. She's also very flexible on Custom drop off and pickup times, and care requirements for your pup. You get daily updates/pix of your animals, too!
