I walked about 3 miles, taking one branch that led to the Bank of America stadium and the Carolina Panthers training facility. There's a good deal of shade along the trails thanks to the trees. I saw a lot of Robins in and along the park trail. Frazier Park is a nice place to enjoy a walk while in the urban area of Charlotte. I enjoyed my walk there. I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

At various times during his walks he has favorite routes and will let you know if you deviate. He has one set of routes when my wife walk him but if I am on the other end of the leash, he has another. This is his favorite when I have the leash and I must admit, mine also. It's right by the trees so if it gets too hot, you can go into the tree line and play with some of the things that are installed there. That part is outside of the fenced play area, but kids still go over there. There's benches and slides and bridges for them to walk across. Sometimes, if you're lucky you might even go during one of the times that the stick huts are built. Or you can even have fun building them yourself. The area in general is typically well-maintained. The bathrooms are pretty clean, at least from the time that I've been there. Overall, I would say if you're looking for a park to visit in the area, this is definitely one You should check out.

I've been taking my kids to Clarks Creek since it opened. While this park does have some pluses…read morethere are minuses. The bathrooms are almost always nasty, they either don't have toilet paper or don't have paper towels to dry your hands. If it's the summer time and you're taking your kids for the splash pad, bring water shoes. The floors are disgusting. The trashes get overflown and the flies are everywhere. I don't know who thought it was a great idea to have metal slides with no shade but if it's a peak summer day, you're not gonna want your kids going down those slides, especially if they've got shorts on, their butts will get fried. Also, not sure whose idea it was to have the wooden rocking toy thing for kids because those did not last long. The handles broke after a year. When it comes to usable things for kids to play on at this park, the options are extremely limited. I would've loved to see something that kids could actually climb on and slide from that wasn't meant to be poor installation art. The main thing our kids do when we're there is swing on the only two swings climb up in the big web net thing and roll down the turf hill. The only well-kept areas in this park are the Pickleball courts and the dog park. There's definitely ample parking. There's a community garden that you can look at. If you come at the right time when the figs are ripe, you can pick them right off the tree so that's nice.

great park if you like lighted ball fields and tennis (pickle ball) courts and a large playground…read morefor little people with lots of parking in two well maintained lots which will fill completely up and then some on little league nights... and that's not all! also available for your outdoor fun is a regulation size football pitch with moveable nets, dual bocce courts with a new resilient surface (spongy foam covered with genuine simulated turf, not the fakey stuff) and matching shuffle board lanes... there's a one-mile paved circuit around the perimeter with access to the surrounding neighborhoods - which is really convenient for them and leaves keeps spots available for more distant travelers - the trail markers are not to be trusted as the first quarter mile looks nearly as long as any two of the remaining three but I'm pretty sure the whole thing is around a mile around... and there's an inner loop with five workout stations to drop a little strength and balance work into the middle of your cardio. each station has three different sets of exercises so you have about 250 workout combinations besides the runnings in between... in closing: there are two shelters with seating and toilet facilities and potable water. one by the ball diamonds, the other in the exercircle but there are no train tracks nearby...

They've also recently installed a dirt biking area that looks like fun! I particularly enjoyed the walking trails that surround the park. Some folks were keeping their social distancing, many were not. (September 2020.) The park is in excellent condition, as are nearly all of the Mecklenburg parks.
