Ugh I came here today for my first time and I seriously don't understand what the hype is about this place. They're incredibly overpriced for a mediocre job! Never coming here again, I can get a better Brazilian wax done at House of Beauty for half the price! I was extremely hesitant about getting waxed in such a sensitive and private area, but I'm glad I read all these insightful reviews on Yelp! and decided to just go. When I called to make an appointment, the receptionist was very friendly. She helped to ease my nervousness once I informed her it was my first time by giving me information on what to expect and some helpful tips to do beforehand, such as taking a pain reliever and avoiding caffeine. When I arrived for my appointment Tiffany introduced herself and walked me to the room while explaining in detail what the procedure was for a Brazilian. She is very knowledgeable and professional as well as friendly which helped to put me at ease. The whole process was quick and relatively painless for me, definitely worth what I paid. Tammy was my waxer. I've been waxed before and I'm also a licenses esthetician. I told her my concerns with my skin, and what works and what doesn't. She completely ignored me and did her own thing. Since I'm licensed, I noticed she applied and pulled the wax wrong. It was only breaking my hairs instead of pulling them out. I told her that's usually problem and I need a stronger wax. She ignored my comments and still did her own thing. It's been 3 days and I'm STILL swollen and tender. And also have a TON of white bumps all over. Go to European wax center. read more

I think alot of the reviews are fake. this place is nice clean and i went because of the reviews. i needed to get my underarms waxed and this was the closest place. they charge $15 its a little overpriced but i ended up going. i waited about 5 to 7 minutes and then i was called in. i went around closing time. the wax was weak did not get all my hair out i was soo disappointed bc i could have done it myself better. they lady seemed kinda racist but nice i felt a really weird vibe from her. If you have thick or coarse hair this place is not for you. the wax doesnt hurt as bad as the cold wax at other places bt it does not get all your hair. now i have to wait for my hair to grow out so i can get it waxed somewhere else. ughhhhhhh read more

A few months in I found out that Tiffany had moved locations but I loved her work so much I decided to follow her to the Limonite location. This place was so unprofessional and rude! First let me say, this was my first going to this place, but not my first time getting waxed. I know the drill and know how long I need to grow hair out. The waxer , Adrianne, was so rude and unprofessional. She did not introduce herself, she just called me back, told me to undress and get on the table and she would come back. I did and when she came back in she looked at me and said "you don't have long enough hair". I was pretty shocked she said that to me, because I have been waxed several times and many of those times, I've had shorter hair. I asked her if she was sure she couldn't just wax me. For reference, All I wanted was a bikini wax. She insisted she couldn't and if she did wax me, I would need to sign a form saying I understood that I would be okay with not all the hair coming up and she would need to tweeze. I said no and just decided to leave. I ended up going go back to European wax and guess what? They were able to wax me and get it all up with NO PROBLEM. This girl clearly did not want to do her job and was looking for a reason not to wax me. Why? I'm not sure, but she was rude and unprofessional. I'll never recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is the best experience I've ever had with waxing. I'd gotten a bikini wax awhile ago from a different store and i wasn't satisfied with how much it hurt and how many hairs were left over at the end. Not to mention the place wasn't neat and the people were rude. This was a stark difference and it was amazing. The place was cute and very neat and clean. The receptionist was very informative and was able to tell me all the info i needed about the different types of waxes and which would suite me best. When i finally started my waxing i got Tiffany and she was excellent. she was extremely informative and she made me feel extremely comfortable in a not so comfortable situation.
