I have been to this location a few times and have decided I am done coming here. The cleanliness is the only reason I am leaving a two star instead of one. They cancel your appointment if you are 5 minutes late. This place is surrounded by traffic and it is not easy to always make it on time (I had my appointment canceled on me once and another time I was accepted because I walked in the door while on answering the cancelation call, but they took away some of the services I booked for the day). I wouldn't mind the late policy if they were clear about the time window up front and if they never ran behind themselves... which they do. Every wax I still had stubble and was assured that over time I wouldn't keep having that issue, but after several months I am over it still being an issue. Also, I would like to have a regular waxing lady (as that would be more comfortable for me), but every visit I ask for the person who serviced me last and the answer has always been that they no longer work there. First time getting a professional wax. I spoke to Brittney H last week over the phone, collecting information. I found her to be very professional. This week I called and scheduled. As I booked my appointment I asked for her because of the time and knowledge she shared in my previous call. I arrived today 20 minutes early, filled out needed paperwork. She was on time for my appointment and professionally placed me into a well maintained & clean room, giving me directions and asked if I had questions. The table was comfortable. She came in gloved up and talked to me about what to expect. Throughout the service she explained every step of the way and asked me how I was doing. The process was speedy. She explained the after care process and told me about the products, but was not pushy in the least. I bought the recommend exfoliating brush & aftercare cream, and booked another appointment for 6 wks. 100% satisified... Purrrrfect! Remember these services are fast, about 15 minutes for a full Brazilian. Be kind and arrive on time. Think about it, if your 5 minutes late, that equals 33% of your service time. I've been coming here for almost 8 years now and have never had a bad experience. All of the esthetician's are wonderful and they've always make me feel at ease whenever I get waxed. The process is super quick and the pain is very tolerable (just don't drink caffeine before your service and you'll be fine). Horrible experience! I have never received such unprofessionalism, rudeness and cold environment. I went in to ask for information, they were ok and told me I had to grow my hair to come in. So I made in apt for a month later so I can get waxed. I go to my apt and my waxer was Late 20 minutes, then she is chewing food as she directs me to the room all while the two girls in the front are chattering about things unrelated to work. I get in the room and the lady just says "take of your pants and please wipe yourself?" I told her it was my first time and I wanted more guidance and she said look "do you want to get the wax done or not". I was appalled, put my pants back on and left. I would never recommended this place to anyone. They made me feel uncomfortable and were so unprofessional. Ps this happened in March 2016. read more

Saw Tammy and this was great. From the phone call to set up my appointment to the appointment itself this was great! They gave me pre-wax instructions (don't trim or prep, we will do that...take ibuprofen). When I got there early Tammy took me early and was able to get me looking great in 15 min. She talked to me so I wasn't bored but it also took my mind off of things which was great. Great instructions/reminders for post wax too. I came to this location for my first ever Brazilian wax because of its convenient location and also because of the reviews on Yelp (despite the bad ones I decided to give it a shot). I called and made an appointment for an evening time slot and I was nervous of course. I came about ten minutes early and it seemed to be very slow since I was the only other customer there and I waited just a couple of minutes before I was introduced to Crystal. She was extremely friendly and led me to the waxing room and asked me to kindly remove my pants and if I wanted to refresh myself there were wipes for me. She let me get settled and knocked and asked if I was ready. I was. She asked me some follow up questions to see my level of pain tolerance, why I wanted to start waxing, etc., and I am glad she did since it took away from my feelings of awkwardness. She was very professional throughout the whole wax and talked to me to try to distract me from the pain as well. It was very quick and she did a great job explaining after care instructions and when to come back. I went to go pay after and she quickly described some of the after care products that they sold, but did not put any pressure on me to buy, which I deeply appreciated. The receptionist also was very friendly and reiterated some more after care things, which was nice to ensure that I know what I was doing after since it was my first time and all. Came in today at 1 pm with a friend and Marisa was our esthetician. It was my first Brazilian and she made it so easy. The first two rips were painful but she was able to reduce the sting by applying pressure. She was so nice and kept conversation with me throughout the process and that made a huge positive impact on my experience. DO NOT COME HERE. I came in last week and was waxed by Casey. I have never had a waxer so unfriendly and rude! I literally felt uncomfortable throughout my visit. She did not hold my skin taught nor apply pressure after removing wax. She also did not remove all hair. She looks like she literally hates her job and I could see that with her mask on!!! The soft wax is so much better than hard wax. Wow, wow, wow!! I can't begin to explain my experience at The Pretty Kitty. I'm going to start with this; Once I went wax, I haven't gone back! No more shaving for me! Wax is the WAY to GO! I went to another " franchise" wax place which tried too hard to sell product, try to get me to sign up as a member, and whose staff handled my wax harshly! So, I came here and put them to the test. I have been to the Eastvale location 2x and the Chino Hills location once. I have always been happy with my brazilians there. I tried 2 other places in town and didn't return to them. The Pretty Kitty did a much more thorough job and it was truly less painful. When I went to the Chino Hills location, I was accidentally charged twice. I called to ask about it and the manager got it all sorted out and refunded my money. Great customer service! read more
