I won't even step foot in the Fed Ex up the street because of how much better Wendy's service is.

I've really gotten into loose leaf tea and I think they were surprised by my knowledge (not trying to brag or anything) but sometimes I would ask a question and get a pause or something. Nowadays there's so many great small tea businesses to order from online with so many more unique blends. However it's nice to still shop in person and see the tea. This shop doesn't have an online website and they don't sell online. If I wanted more tea I would call to order and have it shipped. Which for a millennial who prefers to deal solely online is a lot of work. They didn't have as much tea as I would have hoped for especially in terms of flavors. Mostly just plain teas. The lady recommended a mango black tea they call Mango Mist. Unusual brewing instructions. She told me to heat my water to 190 for a black tea which is far too low. I tried both 190 and the usual boiling 212 and much preferred 212. Keep in mind temperature varies for what kind of tea. Pricey for loose leaf compared to other small businesses but it is in downtown Georgetown. I'm not local and I don't think I'd be back even if I was but it was a fun experience.

The smell of the paper and everything else mingle into a certain paper store aroma that one has to love and understand, it's here. I adore it. We looked at their invitations and their stationary as well as their local products that they had by the door, but they were busy that afternoon so we left shortly after. I did discover a LOVELY afternoon free takeaway they offer, a hand fan! That's an awesome gift to a visitor in the humid afternoons. Now, if you're a mural enthusiast or a photographer, they're gonna be a stop for a whole different reason. The art on the side of the building is stunning. Take time to really look at it and enjoy the tea.

Within the deceptively large space there is an expansive selection of everything from specialty fountain pens, papers, notebooks, stickers, inks, custom journals, cards, letters, trinkets, and all sorts of other stationary related items. Not just everyday run of the mill items either, rare, hard to find, and ultra premium items as well. The kind of items that are almost never seen in brick and mortar stores, at least here in the states, stuff that typically requires either visiting multiple specialty shops or niche online stores, or frankly even importing some of it. It was just truly incredible to see the pure variety of all they had available. On top of this, the service was friendly and efficient with knowledgeable staff helping out. The space was clean, well organized, and inviting. Prices were fair too, not cheap but no crazy markups on the items available either, after all much of the items are premium goods and as such they will have similar pricing no matter where you get them. Fantastic for shopping for yourself or for gifting, I would highly recommend and will absolutely be returning myself, absolutely elated by the fact a shop like this even exists!

We didn't get to explore them because it was close to closing time, but we definitely want to come back and check them out. Since we were short on time, we didn't get to see everything, but we still walked out with several times that reminded us of the cit we love. A charming spot with meaningful finds--we will definitely be back! :)

Your prices are typical school bookstore expensive, but nothing exorbitant. T shirts with Georgetown emblems were around $18 and sweatshirts around $60. I was surprised to find a "Grumpy cat" stuffed animal with a Georgetown tshirt on, as well as Boo, cutest dog in the world in similar attire. The books/textbooks are upstairs, clothing and computers are downstairs. They have numerous employees wandering the store asking if you need any help. I asked one for a medium sweatshirt size and she promptly went to the back and retrieved the right fit for me. They also have a great selection of birthday cards, snacks, baby accessories, and general school supplies. If you want to pick up some Georgetown memorabilia, or if you are a student and want to unwind after a test and get a little shopping therapy. Either way, I recommend this bookstore.

However, in terms of the amount of swag - there's plenty to go around and there's a lot of variety. In terms of books, well it's a student bookstore. You can get plenty of academic related items here and other stuff too if you're in a pinch for say, a bookbag or seriously need some stationary. However, what I like about this shop is the decent variety of clothing options and the fact a lot of noted name brands like Nike, Under Armor and other companies all offer their own line of GU apparel and you can find it all here in one place. Oh btw ... Hoya Saxa!
