Wanted to stop in at this bar for a while now but assumed it was a "locals only" type of bar. Boy was I wrong. The owner was the greatest guy we could've came across and loved he supported military veterans just due to his Grunt Style hoodie he was sporting. Not sure if he's a veteran but I'm glad me and my fiancée decided to stop in last night. She didn't know what she wanted to drink and he picked out a sour IPA she liked. He made me a margarita and gave me some shit about it but it was all in good fun. There's a bunch of drinks on tap to choose from so you can literally drink something different all night if you choose too. We came in for the darts which didn't disappoint. We had fun and also beat some some people we met that were in a league so needless to say the night was a success. The crowd was sparse but they were decent Mantecans so no problems were experienced. The tacos were pretty fire outside. I've always drove by and wanted to try the food and I can say now for a fact that you won't be disappointed. We are definitely stopping in again and we will be bringing friends to experience a great neighborhood bar. This is what you would call a dive bar or hole in the wall. Whatever! This is where my wife and I choose to go, and trust me, we know Manteca (almost) inside out and we spend our hard earned cash where we like to be. We take our service animal dog most times and she's welcomed too. Let me see? It's small and old but it's kept clean. Outside patio area is available. The long bar is old and has many carvings/etchings in the top to add character. The craft beer selection is huge and keeps up with the trends. 5 or 6 big screens are constantly showing, well, whatever you ask for. There are many regulars and I guess we are now. Great people when you get to know some of them. Bartenders are great. Charlie runs the show most weekends. He's efficient and will talk anything from sports to politics with knowledge. The beautiful ladies Kelsey, Brandie and Ashley serve on other nights. Plus a couple more we don't know yet. We always get a nice welcome. There's a pool table and one of those plastic dart board things. For food, most nights an outside food service sets up facing the street (main st) and the Mexican food is as authentic as it gets. Juke box is controllable from your phone (it can get a bit loud) All in all we like it. I drink beer and I know things. read more

Best selection of brews in town. I loved every single one I tried. The bartender was very nice and she replaced my drink when a fly got in it. Met some really cool regulars here and I can totally see myself coming back as a regular too. I just gotta remember to eat before hand cause that hot dog stand nearby doesn't stay open for very long. read more

This place is up and down on what kind of people show up. I am updating my recent review from 2 to 3 stars, since my last review I been going almost every other Friday and Saturday nights. been mostly chill on nights when I go nothing to report about. The pub has their weed smokers, but they sit in out in the patio area and don't bother anyone. read more

This place was me and my lady's first bar (since she just turned 21) and I gotta say, it was a great experience. Our bartender, Gwyn, was super sweet and helpful during our time there. She made us a variety of drinks we've never tried before, and was very quick on her feet. Mad props to her for being able to run the place alone as the night got busier. The place had one of those jukeboxes that you can control with your phone, so I was able to throw on a few songs to get everyone singing. Took a few shots with some strangers sitting near me and got to chat w them for a bit. Super chill place to be, and definitely will be coming back soon. read more

Not sure why as of 9/29/18 yelp says the pub is closed but it is indeed open and is the best place for craft beer in Manteca hands down the bartenders and patrons are friendly and the beers on tap are constantly rotating. If this place with a true tap line up is considered a "dive bar" this is some top of the line "dive bar"! read more

Probably the worst pool tables I've ever seen. Not level, mis-matched balls. Good thing I don't play pool. They have a cool outdoor area that has a lot of potential but it doesn't seem like they use it. The patrons on the night I went were a mix of older folks and gang bangers.. your usual Manteca crowd.
