Because the staff pays such close attention to the dogs in their care, they noticed a problem early on. JoJo had been acting completely normal at drop-off, but a couple days into her stay, they sensed something was wrong and trusted their instincts.They immediately stepped up and took JoJo to the emergency vet. Mandie stayed by JoJo's side when we couldn't, acting as her comfort and protector while we cut our trip short and raced back home. Even after we returned to town and took over, Mandie constantly checked in on JoJo to see how she was doing.The most incredible part is that we didn't even really know Mandie, and we have never met her in person. JoJo had only been there for daycare and boarding a handful of times. For Mandie and the staff to treat JoJo with this level of devotion, love, and urgency is truly extraordinary. They didn't just board our dog; they saved her life and looked after our family during a terrifying time. We will never take JoJo anywhere else!

If left at home with her sister cats she would not get her medication due to hiding when the caretaker entered the house. We booked a two week stay at the Scratching Post while we traveled. I thought she would hide her whole time at the Inn, but to our surprise it was the opposite. During our daily updates we learned after the first 2 days of being shy she opened up to the staff. She enjoyed spending time with them, petting, scratches and followed them around, the word velcro kitty was used one day. She was very well taken care of during her stay. She is already scheduled for another stay at the Inn.

Even the rooms they keep them in are so much better than cages you see at other places. No cages here! They have little townhomes, standard suite or deluxe suite. I chose standard since I didn't think she needed the bigger room since it was just her. They also update you with pics and how their day went. If you can't tell I was incredibly pleased with this place.

Rather than paying $440/month for unlimited daycare (which is already expensive), PetSuites decided that Puppy Preschool (where the dogs stay in a kennel for MOST of the day besides two thirty minute play session) was NEARLY DOUBLE THE COST OF TRADITIONAL DAYCARE. The website is deliberately misleading about the monthly daycare membership and falsely advertises the services they offer. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. We will gladly take our puppy to another daycare that doesn't mislead clients and takes significantly better care of the animals in their care.

I recently moved to Godley from out of state, and as the very protective dog dad of two Golden Retriever brothers, Hudson and Hollister, finding a new place that I trust with my boys is a BIG deal to me. Anyone who has Goldens probably understands that arriving somewhere new with two very excited, very social, very strong dogs can sometimes feel like entering a building with a traveling circus. Hudson and Hollister want to greet EVERYONE, preferably by jumping up to say hello and giving them a kiss. I'm usually trying to hold two leashes, open doors, apologize to strangers, and somehow maintain the appearance that my dogs have actually received training at some point in their lives. Before I could even get the boys completely out of the back of my car, a staff member came outside and said, "Hey Dad, would you like some help?" WOW. That may sound like a small thing, but it immediately told me something about this business. Someone saw that I could use some help and came outside before I ever had to ask. In all my years of taking dogs to groomers, I honestly don't remember that ever happening before. Once inside, I met the owner, Leslie (I believe!), and Carolyn, and their warmth and friendliness were so genuine. As a first-time customer, I was admittedly a little embarrassed as Hudson and Hollister bounced around wanting to personally welcome every human being in the boutique. Instead of making me feel uncomfortable or making the boys feel like they were "too much," they immediately took both of them, loved on them, and made the entire situation feel completely normal. They took the time to explain the different services and options available and helped me decide what would be best for the boys. A few hours later, I received the call that they were ready. When I returned, I was again greeted by Leslie, who actually took the time to tell me how Hudson and Hollister did during their visit and offered some great suggestions for maintaining them between appointments. That personal feedback meant so much to me. And then came another little detail that deserves its own recognition: they let me pay BEFORE bringing Hudson and Hollister back out! THANK YOU! Anyone who has ever tried to pay a bill, schedule another appointment, hold two excited Golden Retrievers, keep them from greeting every person within a 20-foot radius, and maintain their dignity at the same time will understand why this deserves five stars all by itself. When the boys came out, they looked and smelled INCREDIBLE. More importantly, they were happy. You could tell from the way the staff interacted with them both when I dropped them off and when I picked them up that the affection they showed Hudson and Hollister was genuine. There is just such a positive, authentic feeling at L & L Puppy Patch. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot until the moment we left, I felt welcomed, the boys were loved, and I knew I had found our new place. I am incredibly grateful to have found L & L Puppy Patch right here in Godley. Hudson and Hollister will absolutely be back -- although I apologize in advance for their entrance. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my boys and for making this very protective dog dad feel completely comfortable leaving them in your care. That means more to me than you probably realize!
