Buyer, beware! Do yourself a favor and look past the aesthetic Instagram feed and the "safe space" slogans. Seriously, before you even think about handing over your card, go read the reviews here and check the Better Business Bureau (BBB). There is a documented, DECADES-long pattern of people being charged hundreds of dollars without consent and being blocked from canceling. I wish I had read those 87 1-star reviews myself before I fell for Nat's manipulative tactics. It is honestly devastating to realize that a place claiming to be a sanctuary for our community is actually just a front for predatory business practices. What starts as a warm "welcome to the family" is really just a high-pressure sales funnel designed to bleed you dry. They trap you in these challenges and then hit you with massive, unauthorized auto-renewal charges (we're talking $400+ hits) without a shred of transparency. I never saw a contract for these charges, and I definitely never got a heads-up. The moment you try to advocate for yourself, that inclusive mask slips instantly. You're met with pure gaslighting and a total lack of accountability, as if their branding somehow places them above basic consumer law. They are counting on you to be too "community-minded" to fight back while they pull a total bait-and-switch. And the thing is, the program itself is like paying for a very expensive group chat. At the end of the day, Nat is a master at putting on a revolutionary front, but it's all performance. Behind the scenes, she is a mean-spirited shark who views the community as a collection of open wallets rather than human beings. She's using queer liberation to fund a personal cash grab. I genuinely never thought I'd have to write something like this, but people deserve to know the truth before they get pulled into the mess that is this so-called "queer gym." I joined with optimism, thinking this would be a safe, inclusive space built on integrity and community. Instead, I got manipulation, stonewalling, and theft. READ THROUGH THE OTHER REVIEWS -- apparently I'm not the only person whose been scammed. I was charged $400 for services I never authorized, agreed to, or used. When I reached out to dispute the charge, I was met with silence, gaslighting, and a complete refusal to acknowledge that what happened was wrong. Then the very services I was supposedly paying for were revoked. Luckily, my bank refunded the money, but I had to file complaints with the BBB, the California Attorney General, and open an official investigation with my bank before that could happen. What's worse is that this place markets itself as progressive and inclusive, but don't let the rainbow logos fool you. They use identity and community as a shield for shady practices. Accountability? Zero. Transparency? Laughable. Empathy? None. Let me be clear: this was not a misunderstanding. This was theft, plain and simple. And they've done it before. I've since heard from others who've experienced the same predatory billing and dismissive treatment. As for the program itself, you're basically paying a ton of money to join a group chat. Even if Nat hadn't stolen my money, I still wouldn't recommend the program. It doesn't offer anything you can't get for free on some online community forum. Had a great time, loved my trainer, loved the groups, incredibly accommodating. I love the check ins, they hold you accountable, I don't entirely know how I feel about the 15 buck ghosting fee? But it sure does stop you from missing a class. Haha Only downside is the price for the 6 week course I did was 500 bucks. Which I paid upfront because I could afford it. It's an expensive gym in my opinion. the scheduals aren't good if your a graveyard worker like me though. I did make it work, I did the 6 weeks, I feel great, and I learned a lot about myself. This queer gym did help me get motivated to hit my local gym and I've been doing great sense then. All in all this was a good experience. From the first call I have felt I'm being heard, validated, and acknowledged. I had an intake call with someone who asked me about all aspects of my life and personality. Though this might come off as intrusive since we didn't know each other, it was clear it was meant to determine if the gym and services were a good fit. I actually appreciated this level of customer service because often we may choose something but we may not be ready, a good fit and so on. This person suggested a membership plan based on my goals and set me up with a coach for follow ups and as a support to help me succeed. I can't say enough about how helpful this process was to get me paired up with the perfect coach. So perfect in fact that we both kept saying something like yeah, that's very much how I think or yeah that's how I approach that too. My coach did call me out on my unhelpful mindset and other patterns so it wasn't just a mutual admiration club. The workouts are great! They are all 100% virtual which are perfect for those times we "can't people". They are shared in writing, auditory, and the coach will show you how to do the moves. This feels very inclusive of people who may have impairments. The workouts are always presented with modifications so one can work at their level of health and fitness. No one is ever left out. Also, though you are encouraged to work with your camera on, the coaches are very sensitive and inclusive if you don't feel comfortable. You will hear the coach still calling out your name to encourage you in your work out. The best part of The Queer Gym is that there's an online community via Discord that cheers each other, supports, and celebrates your wins. There are check in meetings for accountability and to help you work out any kinks in your process. Please understand- though this is an online gym, it's actually a very holistic and almost 360 (degrees) program that helps your nutrition, exercise, social support, all anchored by a professional who follows and guides your journey. This gym has not only help me feel better in my body, it has also helped me have a more flexible mindset to work through challenges in my journey. These are wins that are impacting my life already. I'm so thankful for The Queer Gym! I genuinely look forward to classes for the workouts, the members, and the coaches. I'm about five weeks into my program and really impressed with the results (pics attached, be nice!!). I like that my program is nuanced for my specific goals and that Coach Nat is helping me realize that the scale isn't the only indicator of progress. I can currently do like 5 pushups with good form now - couldn't even do one before I started with TQG. Progress! lol I'm also learning about nutrition, sleep hygiene, and a whole slew of things that contribute to the healthy lifestyle I'm trying to achieve. It's a good bang for your buck, but I can see how people think it's pricey if they're not taking full advantage of all TQG offers. I love that the classes are all different fitness levels (coaches provide alternatives to most exercises, encourage you to push yourself but listen to your body, and also invite you to keep your camera on, but respect boundaries if you keep it off). The Queer Gym is the best group workout experience I have yet to have! Five reasons why it's the best: 1) Supportive Coaches: Coach Taylor and Coach Nat are supportive, welcoming, and will give you a push when you need it, 2) Working out online fits into my busy schedule. I saw ads for the Queer Gym all over my Instagram off and on for a couple of years now, and I had been putting off reaching out for a million reasons. With the encouragement of having my best friend join with me, I finally sent them a message on Instagram. Coach Nat (founder) scheduled a call with me right away to figure out the best game plan to help me reach my goals, and I haven't regretted one moment of it... except for maybe a split second during our occasional burpees (hahaha) and then am immediately grateful for the range of motion and strength I've regained which has had a positive domino effect on a lot of other aspects of my quality of life. I know it sounds SO MF CLICHÉ to say the coaches & members feel more like cousins/family, but I truly feel that way! Sometimes you even receive thoughtful, handwritten notes in the mail! It warms my heart so much seeing how much everyone cares about each individual member and goes above and beyond to show it when they feel you may need it most. Not only am I doing things that feel good for the first time in a while because they're good for me, but I'm actually thoroughly enjoying it - not to mention popping into the zoom room and seeing/hearing everyone being their truest self and, in-turn, giving me space to be my authentic, gay-bie self free of ANY judgement. In my experience, traditional gyms are cool until the bro-iest gym-bro just gym-bros all up in your business, or you receive looks/comments from other femme people/women in the locker room for not wearing a "cute" enough outfit or shaving my legs. It doesn't really bother me much, but it is something I could definitely live without experiencing. *BONUS: You don't have to smell anyone else's B.O., and they don't have to smell yours lol. **BONUS BONUS: My dog has become very fond of the "game" of me working out, and she'll be jumping over me or smothering my face in kisses while I'm trying to do hip bridges, etc. One last thing I'd like to add (because it's certainly not the most important part): I have never found it "healthy" to closely monitor your weight when focusing on your fitness because so many factors can contribute to fluctuation, BUT I have noticed some of the clothes I haven't worn in a while or are usually tight are fitting better! The choice to join The Queer Gym was a great one. I'd been seeking some fitness accountability with and live workouts after gaining some weight during the pandemic and Youtube was no longer cutting it. I don't like the gym and the bro/who is watching you element of it. I was assigned a coach and provided access to food plans, and a wide range of workouts. Initially my coach was unresponsive, but then I was assigned a new coach who has been AMAZING. The weekly check-ins are open and honest and have helped me to set reasonable, workable goals. The workouts are fun and challenging and the coaches give great modifications for some wrist issues I have. I particularly love how Coach Chloe integrates storytelling into her yoga sessions. I've lost weight and built some amazing new connections with other queer identifying community members across the country. The 4/5 stars is because of o growing number of workouts available on the calendar - which they are working on. read more

Love this virtual gym program that makes working out accessible to anyone in the United States. They have coaches in each time zone who are able to assist you with your fitness and nutrition. Things that attracted me: virtual workouts with an instructor via zoom, accountability coaches that won't flake on you after the first workout, virtual community events with other members. Things I didn't care for: the price is a little steep, however definitely worth it. Also the use two apps for scheduling classes and communication with you coach is a bit of a learning curve in the beginning. The workouts are definitely the best I've had in a long time. The coaches also provide alternative workouts for anyone with injuries or limitations, that way you get the best use of your time. I definitely recommend this program to everyone no matter the experience level. I also loved my coach Steph who was able to help me find ways to incorporate healthy dietary habits into my life and work through things that made it difficult for me to previously incorporate. She is so easy to talk to and very creative with helping you schedule out your week both for workouts and nutrition. I joined the 12 week program and have gone down from a size 20 to a size 16. I joined TQG in May of last year. I was super excited to get back in the fitness wagon. The workouts are decent (although they get easier every single time there is a new challenge group) and the community is amazing. Honestly, that's the best part of the gym - a community of amazing, loving queers. From there, my experience goes downhill. The membership itself is rather expensive, ranging anywhere from $199-250~ a month for a virtual workout. The coaching itself is odd ... they have a hard time retaining coaches, so there is no continuity is coaches themselves. There was one coach who was fired extremely abruptly and then the entire gym was notified in probably the worst messaging I've ever heard. There have multiple coaches interviewed, expected to come on and they're advertised on social media and then poof, nothing. They don't get hired. It also seems like folks, when they resign, aren't given a 2 week notice period. They get let go immediately. To be clear, the classes are best described as circuit training. These are workouts you can find online, but the value you find here is that you have a coach telling you how to do them. At one point, you did get feedback from the coaches telling you how to correct your form. Since the gym has gotten larger, you get coaches yelling in your ear motivating you but every little on feedback on form. This has led to me developing a hip injury that I'm working on rehabbing. The schedule changes pretty consistently, so once you find yourself in a routine, it is disrupted yet again. During coaching, at least in earlier stages of the pandemic, there was a lot of pressure on hitting protein and other macro goals. To me at least, this uncovered a lot on my end and led me to getting professional mental health treatment for an eating disorder. It seems that now the nutritional coaching is focused on intuitive eating. Overall, I did see results although they have been slow. I've lost around 20lbs overall, 10% body fat, and about 7lbs of lean muscle mass. The coaches struggled to help with my slow progress and I wish someone would have told me to see a dr sooner to get blood tests done because we could have identified the reason I saw ridiculously slow progress in the beginning. During the weekly accountability calls, it feels as if it is becoming group therapy and people are unloading all of their struggles. At the end of the day, I want this to be a gym and during accountability calls, I want them focused on nutrition and fitness goals. Mental health, while yes, a piece of the puzzle, should be handled by trained professionals and not personal trainers (whom only one, I believe is accredited). I ended up submitting my cancelation notice and was notified that there was an additional 30 day commitment after submitting it. During my initial sales call with Nat, she told me there was no contract, no BS so this caught me completely unaware. My problem overall with the gym is the way that the owner operates the gym. Over the last few weeks, there has been an increased in volatile actions by the part of Nat. Folks have quit over the way certain schedule changes have been made and lastly, over two particularly classist and transphobic IG posts. Go and review their IG - you'll see a transphobic post with a weak apology linked below it. You'll also notice that a lot of the postive comments below that are from Nat's family rooting her on. The other one was deleted almost immediately after posting. I contacted the gym about the first one privately, expressing my concern. The second one I commented on and later requested an early termination due to the classist and frankly, tone deaf "meme" that was posted (all within my 30 day window). Over the next few days, I was removed from TQG Facebook group by an admin and I've been told that I'm still a member through the remainder of the month. If I'm a member, I would presume I still have access to member benefits, including a Facebook group. Overall, it's an expensive gym, the classes are things you can find online, there is high turnover with the coaches and lastly, the owner is impulsive and a weak leader overall. You'll notice that there is a constant stream of new reviews and they're pretty cyclical; they're all posted either immediately following the conclusion of a challenge group (again about a $400-450 investment if I remember correctly) or when the gym puts a competition to post reviews for a trip. I will not be returning nor patronizing any things hosted by TQG. Although I love the community that has been built here, until there is radical change in the way Nat approaches customer service and social media this gym will continue seeing rapid turnover in coaches and members. It's interesting to notice that most of the members are recent and it's rare to find members who are apart of the gym for longer than 3-6 months. read more

I have always been intimidated of the highly gendered spaces that gyms and gym culture has a tendency to create, so this was the perfect space for me to be in. I was excited about a queer gym but they're super fatphobic and ableist. During my initial consultation I disclosed that I had an history of ED and wasn't interested in weigh-ins or measuring my body's, that my fitness goals were feeling stronger and addressing chronic pain. They put on their "empathic listening face" and smiled and nodded like they understood, I signed up for a trial and they then tried to schedule me for an initial evaluation. I asked what that entailed and they said "a weigh in and measuring" like the entire ass conversation we just had didn't happen. They then continued to harass me with emails and calls until I told them specifically why I wanted them to stop. This place is super toxic and great at masking with zero interest in accountability. It takes a lot for me to wish ill on other queer people but I hope they go out of business so they stop perpetuating real harm. read more

The gym provides a unique space for queer people of all stripes to connect. This is definitely not widely available in standard gyms. The membership cost is quite expensive, as you are paying for group fitness classes,, weekly group check ins, and zoom based social events. If you are looking to meet more people in the queer community and participate in some sort of fitness , I definitely recommend trying it out. Do you ever, like.... roll into a room and take a deep sigh of relief as you look around and realize, "Ahhhh.... these are my people!"... This. This was exactly my experience when I first started the 28-day challenge with Queer Gym. A room (okay, a zoom room), full of queers, with amazing hair, all the pest and plants, all focused on doing a little better. No body shame, no sex shame, no weight shame, no focus on lbs, weigh-ins, or anything that feels icky. All of the coaches that I've trained with have been all about you doing what is right for you in your body and making small adjustments in how we interact with our bodies. Overall, I've had great experiences. There are a few negatives, but honestly, they're not deal breakers for me. 1. Zoom calls can be rough if the trainer doesn't have a background in film production. Sounds silly? Yes, but really, you need a professional to do lighting, set design, quality sound mixed with music. That being said, the coaches are all engaged and homie, we're ALL doing our best. 2. The cost feels a bit high for me: $400 for a month, but the classes are also small. Part of that cost is ensuring that we have small class sizes and individual attention. I don't think it could survive at a lesser cost. ---- Okay, those things being said, seriously, this has been a great experience for me. The trainers are great about modifications, they have high energy and there's also a variety of styles which is nice. Nat's lack of accountability in her reply to my first review was extremely predictable, but let's address that. - She LOVES to say she's a minority owned, queer owned, woman owned business. Yet, she steals from and exploits minorities, women, and queers as a business model. How many minorities, queers, and women did you refund who contacted you about your stealing from their bank accounts when they tried to cancel? You're full of it. - She LOVES to talk about hiring "POC," yet have no Black or transgender employees. They've hired cisgender, Latinx employees. - They're not "scholarships," they're a business ploy to get people with less money to agree to joining the gym for half the price they charge people with more money. You're essentially paying double the price for the exact same service everyone else has. There's no difference from the "6 week challenge" and the regular membership, other than the price. - I was not in the 6-week challenge and therefore was not "required to do weekly check-ins" with my coach, except I was or else I'd receive a cancellation fee, but this outright lie and manipulation is exactly how this business owner operates. My 6-week challenge ended over two months ago, why the BS? - It's been a part of your business model for YEARS to get reviews by bribes. What are people going to do, leave you a bad review when they're trying to win a "contest?" - You did not address at all the threat that I could not end my membership without an exit interview. This "small business" has been around ten years, and Nat is a seasoned "entrepreneur" aka BSer, and this manipulative, lack of accountability behavior has been the method of operating for the queer gym for a LONG time. I want to start off my saying I think this gym is a great idea and I've interacted with several members who I can tell are getting something really special out of it. They push for a fun community and I think the work they're doing is important. After seeing ads on Facebook and feeling like a lump after 6 months of working from home thanks to Covid, I signed up for the 4 week Homebody challenge, doing zoom workouts from home and given a personal coach and group that was doing the challenge with me. The coach I was assigned was barely in contact with me and I felt that I wasn't getting my money's worth. We were told to track all our calories and to post it to our group's Facebook page daily, but nothing really came from it. We were told to purchase expensive fitness trackers like FitBits, but nothing came from that either. The head of the gym would send out videos with information about health and nutrition, but the videos seemed very haphazardly filmed with technical difficulties and the whole program seemed a little disorganized. I didn't lose much weight in the challenge, but do feel healthier as a result of the exercise and I do believe I've gained muscle, which is nice. I signed up for the accountability and I believe I got that, but there is a lot of room for improvement before this gym can deliver what I was promised. And like I said above, I believe what this gym is doing is important and I want it to succeed! I hope they find this information helpful. read more

The worst experience I've ever had with a gym. Very sketchy business practices. They try to get you to verbally consent to information that you can not verify in writing until you give them your financial information. On the 29th I told them the same day I spoke to them I wasn't interested because they ask you to consent to signing away privacy rights like your story and images. On the 30th They charged me for a membership the day after I told them NO. Then on the 1st they told me I needed to sign a cancelation agreement in order to get it back even though I never signed a contract in the first place. The cancelation agreement basically stated I'd continue to owe them more money. They are currently making me fight to get my money back which has led to me having intense anxiety and chest pains. Christina Prieto threatened to use audio recordings against me- in those audio recordings I'm talking about sensitive health information including my history of anxiety and also asking them for time to decide on commiting to the pricey membership (their options are $199 or $599). I've told Christina repeatedly that if she listens to the audio I ask for more time to decide and felt pressured into giving financial information. Christina also repeatedly referred to me by the wrong name after being corrected. Don't sign up for this gym it's a scam and you'll end up losing money and sanity by dealing with them. read more

Really want to support this gym but my experience was a big turn off. Going by their cheeky advert of the initial meeting as the "first date" then this could easily be the worst first date I've ever had - getting stood up! I made an afternoon appointment to meet with a rep. Thequeergym confirmed the appointment. I arrived 15 minutes early and the gym was closed (at 4:15pm). I waited patiently until my appointment time and still no one showed up (4:30pm). I knocked on the door, call both numbers, and a quick email. Waited another 15 minutes - no call back, email, or any sort of notification. I'm left to wonder if someone had an emergency or they are just extremely unprofessional. I find it really strange that the gym is not open on a regular weekday afternoon. Perhaps I misunderstood their opening hours, but if I'm going to pay apx $100 or more per month, I would expect there to be more opening hours! read more

The queer gym has changed the way I look at fitness. I feel motivated, supported, and encouraged after each workout, nutrition meeting, or accountability call. The coaches are incredibly present and there to help you with anything you need- and will tailor your plan to you. Wanted to give an update since COVID hit. I was definitely worried about not being able to get into the gym anymore. A huge plus for me with the Queer Gym is the community it fosters for everyone, no matter how you identify. I loved hitting the gym a couple times a week and seeing friendly faces to help motivate. All my worries? COMPLETELY unfounded. Coach Nat & Coach KJ have worked so hard to make sure I feel completely supported and motivated while we are all stuck in lockdown, and it shows!! Coach KJ even went out of her way to up the number of weekly check-ins I was getting, since I was struggling mentally hardcore. Very little has changed with the structure of workouts too, which really helps normalized working out during lockdown. Add in the fact that these coaches are always working to find safe and healthy ways for all us Homies to socialize and foster community--seriously what more could you ask for?? If you're looking for a gym that is going to not only push you to achieve your fitness goals, but also care about your mental health and overall well-being, there is literally no place better. I am in a much happier place mentally since joining the Queer Gym, and I am getting more and more comfortable with my body everyday as all of the QG coaches work to push me to my personal best. read more

Haven't been associated in years but the bad taste in my mouth never went away. Sucked me in during a vulnerable time, the pandemic, & really capitalized on the fact that we were all in isolation. Get ya good with the 28 day challenge & "building queer community." Few years back there was a large exodus of participants & coaches. The owner was making problematic posts, followed up with even more problematic responses in defense (along with their family member bullying others.) Fatphobic & transphobic. Claimed coaches were all certified, which at the time was false & led to numerous injuries from participants. Coaches were grossly underpaid / mistreated / degraded. Turns out most of us were being charged differing amounts for our memberships, all in which were just too damn high for a virtual gym membership. If you try to leave they try to force you into another month or more. An ex member asked them to stop using her picture for advertising & this request was continuously neglected (she never signed consent to begin with.) All of the reviews we once posted have magically disappeared documenting how fucked up all of our experiences were. & Trust, this wasnt a "you fucked up, or were ignorant to something, so now we are going to cancel you..." there was MULTIPLE attempts to mediate and have restorative conversation. To try to see if it could be altered to actually serve the very community it said it was designed for. Instead, we were met with doubled down toxic energy, bullying, & straight up resistance. I randomly saw an ad & decided to look at reviews to see if maybe some things have changed. Unfortunately it seems some of the same stuff is still going on. Do not support this business. If you need queer community but need to do so virtually, reach out & I'm happy to brain storm. If you want to work on your health / fitness, I am not a professional but I can point you in the direction of SAFE, queer, individuals that are that can support you. We keep us safe, & that means to paying into something that continues to take advantage of the population they claim to serve. Caveat emptor! Highly questionable business practices, and you don't have to take my word for it. Take a second to look pass the coerced 5 Star ratings, and you'll notice buried among them are people who have had the same experience. See, too, the un-recommended reviews at the very bottom of the screen. (1) There is no actual "6 Week Challenge," 12 Week Challenge." Instead, what you're essentially offered is a fixed reduced rate trial membership. This entails a binding contractual financial obligation. Realize that once you share your debit/credit card information with this gym that they will, despite your protest, withdraw from your account. (2) Their "coaches" are not certified trainers and their workouts are basically HIIT calisthenics that you can find for free online. (3) There is no "nutrition plan." Instead, you pay for access to a generic online "detox" guide that you can find online for free. (4) There is no nutrition consultation. Instead, you sit through a 30 minute discussion where a "coach" encourages the purchase of Queer Gym endorsed supplements. (5) That they are LGBT+ focused is inconsequential. This is ultimately a business that exploits the insecurities of its clientele. (6) Lastly, the owner is incredibly defensive and unable to take criticism, bordering on threatening. I've been following @thequeergym on Instagram for a couple of years now but only joined the gym a month ago as part of the homebody challenge after Covid & the shelter in place had me desperate to get some consistent physical activity in my life. All of the classes are online via zoom which make it super easy to schedule into your day. They use the mind body app so if you are a planner like me you can easily schedule out your week or month. All of the classes that I've taken have been super accessible and coaches readily provide modifications if needed. I love the fact that they start the workouts with introductions where you state your name, preferred pronoun, whether you have any injuries and answer the question of the day. At the end of class I'm usually sweaty af and have really seen my endurance/strength increase. I'm so happy to be part of this community. My only regret is not joining earlier! read more

LOVE the queer gym. It's not just a gym, it's a community. I took the 4 week challenge and it has been amazing to jumpstart better eating and becoming active again. Coach KJ was incredible and I highly recommend her classes and she did a killer job helping me stay accountable. She constantly checked in on what I needed for better support and she seemed to step in and give me a boost right exactly when I needed it. My only wish is that there were more classes at varied times, but I'm sure that could come as the gym expands. THANK YOU! read more

Updating my review after a year of membership. I had such an amazing experience here, thanks to the coaches and the community. Sadly, the management is incompetent at best and toxic and abusive at worst. The sales tactics are predatory, stating that the high membership fees are used to pay the coaches and trainers a good living wage. This is a blatant lie and the staff were not only paid unfairly, but also treated horribly. All but a few were let go unexpectedly just a few days before Christmas and the rest left shortly after. Knowing now what was going on behind the scenes I hate that I ever gave any money to this company. read more

It's interesting to see negative reviews for The Queer Gym... my experience in being a member for 8 years really doesn't get it! Frankly, I've had nothing but an extraordinary run with Nat and her team... so I feel the need to do a little course-correcting on the not-so-positive claims made in some reviews below... * I've *never* been bribed to do a QG member review. I've been encouraged to do reviews - with contests and such - but never "bribed" to give anything but an honest review. Again - an honest review - not necessarily a positive review. My dog groomer and mechanic do the same thing - ask me for reviews. I choose what to write - not the business. Please. * In 8 years, I can count at least ten trans and/or black coaches - and also white and Latinx coaches - plus cis and straight coaches - all LGBTQ+ identified - or strong LGBTQ+ allies - all all-body positive - and all of them incredible to be coached by. * The LGBTQ+ community is The Queer Gym's primary market - and we have lots of options with gyms - some LGBTQ+ owned/focused - so I don't think we can be bought. There is plenty of competition for my dollars - but I chose to stay with a gym that provides incredible WORKOUTS, unparalleled SUPPORT, amazing nutritional and life-choice ADVISING, powerful 1:1 COACHING, and a fun, thriving, smart COMMUNITY that is diverse and unparalleled. I can appreciate there are folks who have issues with businesses being businesses - but QG is a great example of an LGBTQ+ biz that is focused on dual bottom-lines: DOING WELL and DOING RIGHT. I can't fault them for the former... and I am so grateful for the latter. Nat and her team operate with integrity, expertise, and a deep devotion to the full person well-being, fitness, and health of all their QG community... 100%. And nobody bought those words. read more
