    Bourbons for the tasting event.

    I attended a vendor event at this location during a recent conference stay and cannot heap enough praise on the staff and management of The Ranch Events Center. From when I first pulled up in my ride share, to the staff who checked me in and led me to the elevator to go to the 6th floor, to the bartenders, to the Manager who periodically checked on our group... everything was first class! Beyond the open bar, the finger food brought out was top notch. Lamb chops, sliders, cheese and fruit trays, and more... the final touch was the dessert offerings, with one of the best Crème Brules I've ever had. The main event was a bourbon tasting. The vendor who invited me to this event had picked out three Buffalo Trace products and for many of the attendees, this was their first foray into tasting whiskey neat. I greatly enjoyed listening to the host explain how to taste the bourbon and ask what flavors attendees were picking up on. All in all, this was one of the best events I've ever attended and it all started with a fanatastic event space plus phenomenal staff!

    Hands down one of the best event planning experiences I have ever had. Allyson was the most hands on, professional, and proactive host and she made our company event a complete success. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, drinks flowed, the sound system was great and everyone had a very nice time. Highly recommend using this service for your next company event or private party.

    We couldn't have been more happy having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ranch Events Center. We fell in love with the restaurant and then got engaged at the restaurant. We decided The Ranch Events Center would be a perfect place to celebrate our wedding, especially after proposal at their restaurant. All the guests and our family voiced how they loved the venue. They felt welcomed, stating it was family friendly, down to a server getting a bottle of milk warmed for their baby. It was the best experience we have had. Both of us and Family loved the wedding experience, quality and taste of food and drinks and service. We loved all the vendors that were recommended on their vendor list. Thank you so much to Alyson Carpenter and team, We are beyond grateful for all the effort, care, and detail you put into making our day so special. Everything came together beautifully, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through the planning and preparation. We'll forever treasure the memories of such a joyful day--thank you for being such a big part of it! We will definitely return for an anniversary celebration and recommend this venue to friends and family

    Had LITERALLY the most perfect ceremony and reception at The Ranch. We had our ceremony in the Dining Room and reception in the Hospitality Suite. Alyson and her team (along with my coordinator and her team) did a WONDERFUL job putting together the most spectacular event. Everyone was so kind and organized. The food was AMAZING. Wedding food is known for not being the best, but since the food in the events center comes from the restaurant, it was top notch and delicious. We felt so special and just had such a wonderful time. Alexis helped out with the initial booking and start to the process and Alyson helped with the rest of the process.     We had our wedding reception in the hospitality suite. They went above and beyond our expectations. The room is beautiful. The food and alcohol are big hit. The service is great. We loved the outdoor balcony and fireplace. Alexis was very accommodating and communicative. She made the whole planning process so easy. There are just so many good things to say. Everything was perfect.

    Had the most amazing experience here. From our first tour with Alyson we knew that the great room was the perfect place to hold my fathers 70th birthday/retirement party. We had 125 guest and everything ran so smoothly. The communication with Alyson before and during the event was exceptional. She followed up throughly and provided proposals every time there was a change so we knew exactly what we would be spending, helped us coordinate with the vendors, and gave us great suggestions and diagrams for placement of the vendors/tables. The minimum spend was also very reasonable. A few highlights from the event - the staff was very professional and friendly - The great room was beautiful, spacious, classy, private, and the dance floor was the perfect size to have everyone dancing throughout the night - the food was delicious and the portions were definitely generous The entire party had the most amazing time and everyone loved the venue. We received so many compliments and are hoping to hold more parties here in the future. Thank you again Alyson for all your patience and kindness. You were the cherry on top for this beautiful venue/ experience.

    We had the best time at The Ranch! Our wedding reception was amazing. The staff was professional and kind, the food outstanding and of course the venue was gorgeous. Shout out to Nick and Alexis for making everything happen for us.

    my husband and I chose this place to get married and let me tell you if you are looking for delicious food, excellent customer service, a beautiful venue, convenience of having the ceremony, banquet are and dressing area all in one floor look no further. Alison was so wonderful to work with! Everything turned out so beautiful and we could not be anymore happy. she provided us with a tour, explained The menu and the plan And she was really good at responding to us when we did have a question. we got so many compliments from the venue. We can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries having dinner at this restaurant

Apparently, it used to be a club, but has now changed into a very high-end and cool venue for weddings or whatever type of event you want to have. One of the first thing you notice when you turn in is the amount of ample parking. There are two secured Gates that open up to a huge parking lot, definitely not cramped for sure. And it has plenty of handicap spaces which is very nice. Walking into the open air pavilion, is a real treat. What a great space! This would be a great place for outside dining, or having a band play out there and dancing, if you didn't want to be cooped up inside. Definitely tons of possibilities at this venue! Inside, there is a bar on one end and a stage on the other with a huge open area. This would be perfect for a wedding or something that's held inside, if you did not want to brave the elements outside. Company on site, and can pretty much do anything you need. And that's not all, there is an upstairs area that is perfect for an overflow room, or a VIP lounge, or just a place for say a wedding party to take a break, or anything you really want to do with it. It even has a nice little outside courtyard that you can sit and get some fresh air. I could almost write a book about how awesome this place is but suffice to say if you live in Orange county and are looking for a premier venue to have your event at, I don't think you could do any better than the colony House. Shane helped us in the beginning and was so kind, making the early planning process feel exciting and stress free. But an even bigger thank you goes to Cameron. She is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely cares about what she does. You can tell she loves her job, and it shows in how she supports her couples. She went above and beyond for us every step of the way, making sure everything came together perfectly and that we felt confident and taken care of throughout the entire process. We feel so lucky to have worked with Shane, Cameron and the 24 Carrots team. This venue gave us the chance to create our dream wedding, and we will always be grateful for such an amazing experience.

Our guests absolutely loved how unique the space was. With a guest count of 200, we felt that the reception hall was perfectly fitted; not too big and not too cramped either. 200 was too big to fit inside the ceremony hall, which was our one and only complaint. But, guests who sat outside mostly said their view was okay/clear. *Lily was a superstar. She truly took care of us and was on top of everything. Numerous guests noted that this was the most organized and well-running wedding they had ever been to, which was all due to Lily running the show. I would recommend having Lily as your coordinator 1000x over. *Bang for your buck. This was the first venue we toured, and after hearing the price and what was included there was absolutely question in our mind to book it. I was getting the same quote for ~80-100 guests that I did for 200 here. It was priceless being able to include as many guests while not having to compromise on other factors because they were all included in our package. We also LOVED the grooms suite. So many times the groom is left in the dust but this space was perfect and the guys really enjoyed it. The entire team, Rose and her son, our waitstaff, DJ Larry, and Lily were truly amazing to work with. We would choose the vintage rose for any of our future events!

Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free."     So happy we booked Heather for WTW's month-of package. We were actually looking for a day-of…read morecoordinator but after speaking with Heather, we realized that month-of would be more beneficial especially with vendor logistic/timing (plus WTW prices were reasonable). Heather saw us 2x before the big day: final venue walk through and our rehearsal day. She was super organized during those 2 days and helped guide us with our venue and corral our entire wedding party during the rehearsal. Heather also provided us with a day-of timeline, even for the hours she was not physically at the venue. On the wedding day, she arrived with Annaleise (team member) around 3pm and immediately got to work with the decor set up before our 6pm ceremony. All we had to do was hand over our room key and off they went! To be honest, we were so busy that day that if we didn't have Heather helping us out, I'm not sure how we could've accomplished what we needed to do. No amount of uncles and aunties could've done what WTW did in the same amount of time hah. Plus we had a cocktail hour "flip" during our ceremony, so having WTW help us during that time was crucial. At the end of the night, all our items were returned to vendors or packed away in the boxes we brought them in and stored in our room. During the month of, WTW used Google's suite to keep everything organized and documented, which I found very helpful since its a program that I am familiar with (vs learning a new program). And Heather also provides some rentals if you want to add more to your decor, which was also VERY helpful when we needed more candles and stands. Heather is professional, calm, and assertive. She knows what needs to be done to help make your day run smoothly and is a team player with the vendors and venue. For reference, our wedding was in Riverside, a church ceremony, 8 people in the wedding party, 120 guests, ~10 vendors, plated meals, and a hotel venue reception. We had a couple funky additions in the night which made the reception feel nontraditional, but Heather handled them like it was normal. We haven't received official pictures yet, but when we do, I hope to update this review so any new potential clients can see her magic. Thanks again!!

Shraddha and Karan are the sweetest wife & husband team that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. I booked Sprig and Ivy early into my wedding planning, and even though it was a long time away from our initial contact to the wedding day, Shraddha was so nice and sweet in checking up every so often to make sure I was doing ok. When it came down to the wire, WOW- They exceeded everything that you can ask for in having wedding coordinators for your wedding. They were on top of everything and anything! There were so many moments where I needed a breather, so they "snuck" me out to check out everything and get some air (because everyone was pulling me in different directions!). At one point, I really wanted to see my dessert bar, but couldn't get to it, so Karan took me through a "detour" for me to check it out on the other side before all the chaos ensued. They made sure everything was perfect from beginning to end, and I am SO happy for their amazing work ethics, wonderful personalities, and overall, just great people to have and surround yourself with. Looking back at our wedding, we can't believe she voluntarily takes on this kind of pressure. My husband and I utilized Katie for her day of coordination and she and her team executed every detail that we wanted flawlessly. There were also other aspects of our wedding that we didn't have any opinions on and really trusted Katie's watchful eye to make it perfect for us. She delivered and more (e.g. we had a floating floral piece for our ceremony and we asked her to repurpose it for something for our reception--she set it up behind our sweetheart table and it was beautiful). As far as hiccups on the day of, there were far and few between. The major hiccup happened about 5 minutes before the ceremony when a urinal exploded on me- but hey, Katie had a cleaning kit to make sure I didn't smell for the rest of our big day and her team helped me keep my cool. Overall, we were expecting a little bit more drama but everything went by so smooth. Katie stepped in to make sure we ate our food despite being moved left and right and she kept us on schedule which to everyone's amazement, we were right on the dot with it. To summarize, what Katie did best was eliminate any worries we would have the day of so we could simply soak in all of the greatness of that day. Katie was super helpful being the first line of contact between us and the vendors. We didn't have to scramble at the last minute to confirm arrival times, to collect paperwork, etc. She continued to reassure us toward the final days of the wedding to sit back and relax. She was available throughout the process and kept us on track to meet certain milestones (e.g. finalizing guest count, confirming timeline, ensuring all inventory was ready to go, etc.). We cannot imagine having our wedding turn out the way it did without Katie. We highly recommend that you trust her to carry out your big day.
