Upon asking Mr. Jafri to take it back and stretch it and make it usable again, it took another six months, and still was not flat. I told him that we would be putting a claim in his insurance for the value of the rug and he claimed that this time he would make it better After another five months, it came back. It was better, but it's still not flat. He claimed he had to send it somewhere overseas to get it stretched . the rug is now a tripping hazard. She showed me the materials, explained how she would connect the safety and carefully measured so it would fit securely. The price was very reasonable. The work was completed within the hour. I've been wearing the watch for almost a month since the work was done and the safety is very secure and works perfectly! I was pleasantly surprised they could accommodate an out of town walk-in customer and accept a rush job so late in the day. The watch safety provided peace of mind during the rest of my travels. My only regret is that Truman Jewelers is not located in my home state! My trusted local jeweler retired and I wish I could find a company like Truman's in my area to replace my past jeweler. I tried to flag down the driver and saw a large amount of loose stones, rocks, and clumps of dirt bouncing around the empty bed. The driver seemed unaware, so I noted the time, date, and location and called their shop as soon as I exited the highway. I was told, "This happens all the time, we'll take care of you. A manager will call you shortly." While providing them my contact info. The next day, after calling back three times, I still had no update. By my third call around 2 PM, I was told to "keep waiting." When I explained my situation and limited time in the area, the response I got was: "Unless you have dashcam clearly showing a rock fly off one of our trucks and hit your car, good luck. People try this crap all the time." I wasn't looking for anything unreasonable--just an insurance contact or guidance. I wasn't even driving my own car at the time. They seem very experienced in protecting themselves, and not at all concerned with helping the people their negligence affects.

Ultimately, I decided not to renew his lease, because he kept pressing for permission to make unnecessary repairs, thereby reducing rental payments owed. For example, he complained about a supply line leak above the shower within the first week. He said he replaced "all the plumbing" at a gym in Cahoes. I declined his offer to remedy the issue; the drips of water were produced by condensation, not a leak. He said he handled housekeeping for various Airbnb units throughout upstate NY. As I'm an experienced Airbnb host of 7 units, this falsehood became abundantly clear. My experiences with Ted Biddle would be laughable, if not for fear of sinister intent. I'm worried for the safety of my 80 year old stepmother, who owns and resides in the property where Teddy is holding over in my 3rd floor apartment, with all of my furnishings, which I regrettably subleased to him.
