Great ice cream joint on main street Annapolis. Always a fun place to hang out we dropped in for desert after dinner. All their ice creams were great and they had plenty of options and toppings. They even had dairy free options. The coffee is also good. Great service as well.

Came here because I was craving Dairy Queen and I have to say it might be even better than my long loved blizzard. You choose a base ice cream and whatever toppings you want, and then they put it through a contraption to make it into a soft serve-esque delight. I chose chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and Oreos and it was delicious! Loved the texture and the 2 scoops was a pretty large portion.

Visited right before closing on a Saturday night with my family of 7. The young man was all by himself to help many customers, but he handled it well. The ice cream was delicious. Fortunately they offer plenty of seating and the decor is inviting and clean. We'd return!

I'm think that this is the best and most unique ice cream shop in Annapolis. You choose from a variety of toppings, such as cookies, candies, sauces, and they have this really nifty machine that spins it together to make an excellent soft serve. I got the vanilla ice cream with peppermint syrup and Oreo, it was such a delicious treat. They also offer baked goods, tea and coffee. People that work there are very nice! I look forward to going there whenever I get a chance yo visit Annapolis.

Saturday 11/25/2023 This ice cream spot is pretty much a create your own McFlurry type of spot where you can add toppings/mix-ins to your ice creme and mix it all up. The prices are expensive for what i was expecting. I got a custom "pint" with vanilla ice cream and mix-ins of Oreos and brownies for $8.50. The ice cream was decent but once I got to the bottom half things took a turn for the worse. For some reason there was a decent amount of peanuts and peanut butter toppings that I simply didn't ask for. I strongly dislike the taste of peanut butter so once I tasted it it definitely ruined my experience (good thing I'm not allergic tho cause that could've been much worse). They definitely gotta do a better job of cleaning or at least trying to clean the machine so this can be avoided. Overall, my experience was very disappointing and I wouldn't come back or recommend.

Walking in the ambiance was inviting and friendly. The two servers were engaged in conversation and we waited patiently for our turn. I ordered a small mocha with oatmilk. The price was $7.63. That seemed a little steep to me. Thankfully the drink was delicious. We came back later to try the ice cream but the place was crowded so we opted out. Maybe next time.

Blueberry green tea matcha ice cream blend - soft serve

This soft serve place is amazing! I'm surprised there's not a line out the door. We were a bit confused on how this worked at first. Basically, you pick a base (either vanilla or chocolate), and pick 2 ingredients you want to be incorporated into the soft serve ice cream. However, if you're having trouble deciding what 2 ingredients you want, you can also select from the pre-selected menu. We got two flavor from the existing menu: 1. Black berry matcha green tea 2. Manage and pineapple The ingredients are fully incorporated into the soft serve so it's not like a "topping" and really enhances the flavor. What I love the most is they use real fruits for their fruit toppings so you can actually taste pieces of the fruit in the mixture. The match flavor was so rich. The flavors does we got did not taste artificial and is not overly sweet. They also serve coffee and drinks! Highly recommend this place when strolling around downtown Annapolis.

We loved it!! Out for a late brunch with friends and my family happened upon this place. Loved the vibe, the ice cream and the people.

Wasn't what I expected, but a very delicious experience! We're driven by Red Bean many times when visiting downtown Annapolis, adding them to the 'want-to-try' list when discovering the plethora of mix-in flavor combinations possible. Finally stopping inside, easy street parking $2 an hour on a Friday afternoon, the shop had a modern vibe w.welcoming staff ready to take our order. There was an overwhelming amount of options between the pre-made flavor combinations & the make-it-yourself mix-in choices. We opted for make-it-ourselves; starting w.choosing between vanilla or chocolate base & 2-mix ins, we created: Vanilla, macadamia nuts, cookie dough Chocolate, old bay, pretzels, toffee ($.65 for additional mix-ins) What was different than expected was the way the mix-ins were mixed. I just expected scooped & mixed (like Cold Stone or Dairy Queen) however the toppings were put into a machine, ground up, & mixed directly within the ice cream maker, then swirled into the cup/cone We are used to higher prices for 'gourmet ice cream', as is the nature of smaller specialty shops all throughout the area, and with this shop I was pleased with the quality and quantity at the price. Ordering two smalls to share half & half (well more like thirds w.our daughter) there was a hearty amount of ice cream for the three of us. With the mix-ins ground up, the flavor was quite delicious, as each bite was packed w.ingredients-each combination we made was spot on well-balanced- Really enjoyed our choices, would try other combinations when in the area & craving a sweet treat! I also want to try their affogato because I saw the customer before us order one and DROOL it looked so delicious (&big for the price)

Great ice cream shop! They serve coffee and ice cream all day and really make a great product. Ice creamy is on the pricy side ($8/cup) because they do mix ins and everything is made to order. Friendly staff and has nice seating area in the back and up front. Would recommend if you are looking for a dessert place.

I came here because the lines at the other ice cream spots in downtown Annapolis were too long. The concept was interesting. You pick one ice cream flavor as the base and then you can add various mix-ins to the ice cream. The mix-ins can be fruits, nuts, sweets, syrups, etc. The taste was decent, but I would prefer to just stick with a regular ice cream shop next time. The flavor wasn't amazing and the ice cream seemed like it was melting really fast, even for ice cream.

Delicioso! Affogato (espresso and vanilla ice cream) and a cup of coffee. Good service - nice warm welcome.

What really stood out to me is how thoughtfully they've made it family-friendly. There's a small kids' area inside with tiny chairs and books, which is such a nice touch if you're coming with little ones. Outside, there's a patio space with the cutest little tree fairy house for kids to play in, which honestly makes the whole place feel a bit magical. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, whether it's for a quiet coffee break or a casual outing with my kid. Thanks for having a beautiful place for the community to come together!!

Check out the drink specials it will be worth your while to order one because can't get them year around. The pasties or good as well, just ask them to heat them up because they are cold! My only complaint is they didn't heat up our pastries and by time I sat down I don't want to get back in the long line to ask them to heat them up. Of course I could just skip the line but did I mention it's small and cramped to navigate. There is a downstairs so be sure to check it out. My tips is to order what you want, say hi to Ferguson and stay a while.

I actually came Thursday morning and ended up leaving because the line was long. I didn't have time to wait just to order and then wait again for food. On Friday, I did it the smarter way and ordered ahead online, then picked up from the Mad Eggs food truck in the rear, which worked out way better. I went for breakfast and ordered a scrapple, egg, and cheese biscuit ($10) and breakfast tots ($4.25). The order took about 20 minutes, which honestly wasn't bad considering how packed it was around 9:00 a.m. I even noticed people waiting in their cars before heading up to the truck, so the timing felt realistic given the volume. If I had more time, I would've waited without an issue. Food-wise, everything was good, but I had mixed feelings. The biscuit sandwich tasted fine, but for $10, I expected more. It wasn't loaded, and at that price point it just didn't quite make sense to me--I know that sounds sarcastic, but it's hard not to compare when it's a simple scrapple, egg, and cheese. The breakfast tots, on the other hand, were the better deal. I liked these a lot. The portion made more sense for the price, and I really liked that you're encouraged to customize them. That part was right up my alley. With all the topping options, I do wish they offered a sauce or gravy option (like sausage or country gravy), but even without that, this is something I'd order again and again. The coffeehouse itself is small but clean and quaint, with a few tables. Parking out front is very limited--maybe five cars--but there's more space in the back near the food truck, and there's a rear entrance, which is probably the best move. Staff was friendly and efficient, and even from inside you can tell things are run pretty smoothly. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak to that side much, but I've had food brought home from here before by my wife and really enjoyed the matcha tea smoothie in the past. Overall, I'd definitely return. I think Rise Up does a good job in general, and I've enjoyed their Severna Park and downtown Annapolis locations before. I just expected more out of a $10 biscuit sandwich--but I'd happily come back for the tots and other menu items.
