We chatted with her grandpa who eats there a few times each week. Her banker, farmer, entrepreneur father, who grills the steaks, came out to say hi, too. Other times when we have eaten there, my spouse and I have enjoyed the steaks and various potato preparations; all delicious. Tonight, being Thursday night, we chowed down on Kat's homemade lasagna, asparagus, and house salads. Everything was scrumptious. Our server was very attentive, and we had another wonderful meal. The decor features many authentic photographs that depict life in this small town through the decades. Kat's grandma, bless her soul, captured a sense of understated elegance that makes the restaurant a home away from home.

Wife had the steak kabobs with grilled carrots. We both had leftovers for at least another meal. The owner who also cooks the steaks stopped for a visit. We finish with the cherry cobbler which had ice cream. Everything was excellent. We love the restaurant because it looks classy and unlike other steakhouse is quite so you can talk. The second server was friendly and did a outstanding job.

I made the grave mistake of ordering the senior ribeye. I mistakenly thought it would be like a regular ribeye cut in half. No it wasn't. I have no idea what this meat was, but it looked like skirt steak. It was 1/6 inch thick. I measured it! I ordered it medium rare which is laughable, because you literally couldn't cook it to anything besides well done because it would take probably 20 seconds to cook. I received this steak after waiting about 50 minutes for our food. My boyfriend on the other hand, ordered a prime rib medium, and his came out not even rare. He couldn't eat it. They did comp the prime rib but we paid for mine. To make all this worse, it was SO HOT upstairs I couldn't stand it. Granted it was very warm that day, but if you get overheated quickly, do not eat upstairs in the summer.I'm afraid this will be the last time we go to my beloved Rusty Barrel. We have celebrated so many occasions there including me and my love's very first date together. I am heartbroken.

We drove a little over an hour to visit Vintage Steakhouse and we believe it is truly a great place to eat. Atmosphere, ambiance, selection, quality of food, friendliness and finally the taste were all awesome. The owner actually took care of us last night. It was nice to hear about the history of the steakhouse and the building it sits today. The building was constructed in 1906! Wow! They have done an amazing job in creating a welcoming and charming place to have lunch or dinner. Each person in our group of 4 ordered the filet mignon steak. We each had a different salad and they were amazing. The homemade bread was very good as a warm up for the meal. Garlic mashed potatoes were very tasty and the steaks were great. Mine even came with 2 toothpicks! :). Some of us had desert and they were also loved. If you haven't made the trip, I believe it's worth the drive! Great job Vintage Steakhouse!

Imagine these servers being college students and single mothers. Also imagine that each one of these servers is on to your alleged theft and deception and they collectively decide they've had enough of you stealing the money THEY earned while you're allegedly putting in a beautiful, brand new pool at your home. Then imagine they allegedly start keeping their own numbers and accounting for their earnings which allegedly do not match up with your VENMO payout each day. Imagine one of them is my 21 year old daughter, who is a college senior and allegedly rallies the entire staff to stand up for themselves and finally question you. Then imagine in the meeting that allegedly every single word was recorded, YOU FIRE HER, after allegedly cussing her out, and refuse to show her, or any of them, your accounting. That's such a wild concept to me! You fired a 21 year old who questioned her earnings because you knew you were caught, Brittany Rupp. As for dining at The Vintage Steakhouse in Morrison, OK, (where the FB reviews are turned off ) I would strongly discourage you from spending your money there.
