They were super nice and Ashleigh showed us how to screen-print our own shirts. I really enjoyed learning how to do it. It was fun and easy to do and the shirt designs were so professional-looking. We got to choose from four different designs and choose the color and size of t-shirt we wanted. I always love events where there's a make-and-take. The shop is really cool and has a lot of fun designs for t-shirts. They also sell coffee mugs and drinking glasses with a Des Moines logo that Ashleigh designed. Another great thing about their merchandise is that it's all so reasonably priced unlike a lot of other t-shirt places out there. They also do mobile screen-printing. They can come to festivals, small parties and corporate events and people can print their own t-shirts. That's such a cool idea! I can't believe nobody thought of it before. You have to come and check this place out.

That's just one reason I love it! They let you be hands on and see the cool process of what they do! Each time I have seen their pop up customized print shop at work it has been unique to the festival or farmers market they have been working in! I have never seen anything like this and I think it's totally crazy and awesome! They also do design services. The inside is gorgeous. So clean, fresh and bright. Considering the product being sold, I love the simplicity of the decor. There are few tables and the walls are covered in adorable, colorful cards and other stationary. It's easy to find what you need (and maybe what you don't!). Whenever I need to buy a card for a birthday, baby shower, etc. I go here. I hate the tacky cards you find at WalMart or Target. These are simple, cute and free of stupid sayings. I've also purchased notebooks, planners, monogrammed stationary and their pens. I love everything I've brought home with me. I have the pens in probably every color and they are the BEST. For Christmas, I sent my father here to get me a gift, because I knew he couldn't buy anything I wouldn't like! The staff has always been sweet when I go in, too. Which is so important. P&M has a program for creating a customized online store for your team, school or organization. This can be run as a fundraiser or just a convenient way to organize the orders for your group. They also have a showroom on the square in Polk City if you want to meet in person. The best part of working with P&M is the customer service. I really wish I could give this place a 0. First there is no internet! I had to provide my own…read moreinternet in order to send my paper job. After sending it he required me to send it again in pdf form. This was not stated nicely or did he have a positive attitude. And of course between sending it the two times I would had to wait for him to finish with several other customers. Second the customer service was horrible. As the owner was helping me he would disappear for minutes, up to 10 minutes at a time, at a time in the back, leaving me waiting. It was hot in the building and slightly a mess...which turned me off with the lack of customer service. Third, when I called ahead to see if the job could be done that day, he said yes. But after standing there for 1 hr, he informed me that his worker was on vacation and he was not going to complete it to th next day. Fourth, he never printed me an example or reviewed my pdf with me. Ended up the pdf formatted different then the actual document I sent him the first time, leaving the final project with an error. When I asked him to correct it, he said I should have reviewed the pdf and I could go to another place. Lastly, I was never provided a itemized receipt. Pretty sure he randomly came up with my bill amount. My experience was aweful and I will never recommend or return. I should have walked away when I had the chance! Seriously staples does a better job then this place!!
