Ordered from here for the first time yesterday during lunch hours. My dad had a menu so I decided to order for delivery. I went with a lunch combo which is between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Italian sub fries and fountain soda. I requested everything that comes on the inside and cell plus hots. That said was actually pretty dry. It was supposed to have come with oil but I'm not sure if it did or if my energy just needed more. I ended up just eating half of the sub and all of the fries which are pretty good. Came with a fountain soda that was sizable and tasty. Very dry pizza. I should have listened to the reviews and skipped Red Zone. The pizza was expensive and dry. A medium pie with bacon, onions, and hot peppers for $16...no thanks. The pizza lacked flavor all around. They loaded the pizza with hot peppers but I had trouble locating the bacon. What a bummer. We also ordered buffalo wings; not bad but a little overcooked. The most disappointing part of my take out experience was the girl who checked me out was not wearing her mask properly. Her nose and half of her mouth was exposed. Red Zone has become my go-to delivery place. I order from them rather frequently now. They make the trek all the way over to Grasonville which I'm very happy about. Pizza is decent. Subs/wraps are great. Boneless wings and the buffalo chicken stromboli are the bomb! Have yet to try the bone-in wings but will update my review after I get around to them. read more

Visiting the area late Tuesday evening, I was looking for a non-chain local pizza shop I find typically deliver higher quality than the chains. Not true in this case -- despite that the counter woman explained that the dough is hand-made daily ("I wouldn't work here if it wasn't the best quality," whatever that means). The crust may not have been pre-frozen, but, other than exhibiting a light crispiness, was thin and dry. The parched crust would get no help from the sauce layer that was barely detectable. The cheese was delicious -- thank goodness for that, since I paid for extra cheese -- the rather scant "extra" layer that was applied nevertheless saved the pie. Atop that were my two toppings sprinkled at barely noticeable levels. At $20, the product was a ripoff. If you are a pizza lover and are considering this place ... my advice would be to keep looking. We have ordered here several times and due to my dietary restrictions I have to ask for several omissions. Every order I make, with the exception of naked wings, has been wrong. One big thing I can't have is regular bread. On the order ticket it says No bread, then underneath that is printed White. The order was taken and read back correctly, but my meal came with Tons of toasted white bread. It also took an hour to receive our order. The restaurant only offered store credit and would not refund the meal I couldn't eat. What a day to have my dinner screwed up. They now have a sit down resteraunt next door to their original location. The food is good, not great but good. There was only one waitress for the whole sit down side and she was also answering phones. So needless to say the service was a little on the slow side. I get delivery from this place in town, mostly i'm hungry when I get their food delivered so it tastes o.k. when going down, but really their baked zita is over-cooked noodles (think mushy, yeah not so good). Later that evening I received a call from someone at Red Zone claiming that I stole from them because I didn't pay the delivery driver . For 20 minutes this man harassed and berated me over a $32 order that they are saying I didn't pay , despite the fact that it was withdrawn from my account . I have ordered from them numerous times , despite the fact that their food is average at best but after dealing with this , I can safely say I will NEVER patronize this restaurant again and I will caution others to avoid as well. Very rude Staff and always messing something up with our order, whether it's forgetting dressing to a salad from soaking soggy subs, everything is always a challenge with this place. I called one time and my phone kept disconnecting from bad reception so it accidentally hung up, I called again and when the girl answer and said "Pick up or Delivery?". I then apologized and said sorry for hanging up on you.. "Pick up or Delivery?!" and she cut me off before I could even finish. I was shocked at her demeanor on the phone and said "you know what nevermind, I'll call elsewhere". Who knows what they can be doing to your food. NEVER EVER again will I give them business. Have ordered here often with mixed results. This past time was the last. I ordered a meatball parmigiana sub and it was cold. Took it back and was given an apology by the staff. The "owner" came out of the kitchen and just lambasted the staff. They didn't make it - just tried to make it right. After he sent one girl out of the restaurant crying, I knew I had enough. This guy was an ass on display for all of his staff and customers. Don't go here if you want good food and respect good management. I've never seen that before. Horrible Customer Service! My husband and I ordered delivery & were told 30-45 min. Food arrived an hour later (not horrible) but we were Missing part of the order. Called and was told it would be made and sent right out. Called 2 additional times to find out where it was. Missing food FINALLY arrived over an hour later!! We love Red Zone. The owner is very nice, and once gave us free rice pudding when we were dining in with the kids. Their lunch special (2 slices of cheese and a drink) is about $4. You can't beat that. Plus, when they re-heat the pizza it gets a deliciously cruncy crust and is much better than Coliseum or Dominoes. I'd say the best pizza in Centreville for sure. read more

We never had any issued with Red Zone before, until the other night! We ordered just some appetizers for football. I ordered mozzarella sticks. I opened the container and there was no sauce! Who eats them with no sauce. So, I called and asked if they could bring me sauce for my food. They asked if i'd like to pick it up, well no! You messed up, you deliver. 10 minutes later the manager gets on the phone and said there is sauce on the way to me. Well now that my mozzarella sticks are cold, I asked for new food as well. Kinda ridiculous it took 10 minutes for an answer. So the manager was rude and nasty to me, and told me the only thing he was going to do was have sauce delivered. I ended with, FINE. Very unhappy. So, here we are 4 days later, and I still haven't seen my sauce, that was on the way to me. So because they messed up, and wouldn't fix the issue, I will move my business on elsewhere. Terrible! Last night we ordered a salad and two strombolis. After 45 minutes we called to check on our order and the owner said that the delivery person had left the restaurant 15 minutes prior to deliver our food (We like 3 minutes down 301), he finally arrived 20 minutes after he had left the restaurant. When our food arrived it wasn't even the right order. What was supposed to be the Chicken Stromboli had some type of greasy shaved red meat. I called the restaurant and let them know that my order was wrong and that the delivery took a ridiculous amount of time. I was informed that the delivery person had stopped for gas, good thing my food could sit in the car while he ran his errand. The owner offered to remake my order and have it to me in 15 minutes....20 minutes later (without dinner) I called to cancel my Stromboli order and to have it taken off of my check. I had to argue with the owner to have him reimburse me for the one stromboli. The delivery boy must have been en route because he showed up. I gave him the greasy shaved meat stromboli and sent him back with the corrected one as well. Tonight I received a phone call from Red Zone asking for my credit card information over the telephone because he had cancelled the whole payment instead of modifying it. The owner didn't call me but had his employee speak to me while he told her what to say in the background...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I don't give my credit card information over the phone so he asked me to drive in and give him cash. Poor business practices all around. Oh yeah, and the food that they did get right was greasy, the ingredients tasted old, and the salad was a lot of iceberg lettuce with stale croutons.
